Why would you not fish a jigger float if you're going to fish shallow? I'm using that method while the weather is still warm, the fish are up in the water and I'm bagging up on 6mm hard pellets on a lasso hair rig. I'm also using the jigger for silvers with just a normal hook and either maggots or casters, again catching a lot of good-sized roach, rudd, ide perch and a few F1s for good measure.

Brilliant. Would have been more useful 6 months ago. Timing is everything when marketing.
