  • Fishing with bombs and pellets is a year-round tactic that can be tailored to suit the conditions. It's a simple method, great for catching fish, regardless of your angling ability.
In this video, Paul Holland takes us to the Glebe Fishery, also known as Mallory Park Fisheries, in Peckleton near Leicester. He explains the different pellet sizes to choose from, depending on the location, volume of fish, and time of year. With bomb and pellet fishing, you can have a fantastic day's fishing and catch a lot of carp, f1s and other coarse fish.
Paul shows us how to feed the peg, depending on the time of year, while talking through the process and giving helpful fishing tips for fishing with bombs and pellets. The Glebe is home to multiple lakes with a good stock of big carp. Here, you have to have a minimum hook length of 50cm, and Paul shows you how to fish it with the bomb effectively.
The video is packed with all the knowledge Paul has garnered over the years to help you catch more fish and have an enjoyable day's fishing.
A big thanks goes out to Roy at Mallory Park Fisheries for the hospitality and use of the lakes.
