    Paul. if you HAD TO choose from either Skrettings or Coppens pellets, and never be able to use any of the other ever again, which one would you choose and why?
    And, to the Blake's crew.....what an asset Paul is. Explaining your products simply and comprehensively. Sharing even the tiniest of tips.

      He did, but he treated himself to a Preston one after he left Guru earlier in the year. As he'll admit, he doesn't need multiple trays and drawers so the Preston was a good choice for him.

    Never tried bomb fishing i always use method feeder with pellets or groundbait. Great video. I'll try this method next time i am out. Side question: Does anyone know why some fisheries have dumb rules like why a 20-inch hook length? If it breaks, the fish has more line attached to it, more lines to tangle birds, etc. Some fishery rules are so ridiculous, i think sometimes its the owners just puting them in because they can rather than any logic.

    Great video as usual Paul, l always learn from your videos and find them absorbing. Just one point l've seen your ways of tying hooks but this vid says you use a piece of silicon to position your hair ., do you always use the silicone now? Cheers

    Great advice. I didn't quite understand what you meant about the band/pellet being at "the thinnest part of the hook" as you put it; I thought you meant the thinnest part of the pellet until you said hook. Also, what do you use to stop the bomb in place?

    • @BlakesBaitsMatch
      @BlakesBaitsMatch  Год назад +1

      Paul will answer you after his festival, glad you enjoyed it though 🥰

    • @matchfocus
      @matchfocus Год назад +1

      Yes the thinnest part of the pellet as they are almost tear shaped. I use a snap link swivel for the bomb. Then another snap link swivel but cut the swivel off so it's just the snap link. I tie that in a loop so I can change my hooklength. Just make sure that the swivel goes over that knot so if you crack off the fish is not trailing the bomb. Glad you enjoyed it!! 😊

    Hi paul cracking video keep up the good work
    Just want to know you say depending on whats in the peg you woukd feed 4,6,8mm but is it always a 8mm on hook

    • @matchfocus
      @matchfocus 5 месяцев назад

      Glad you enjoyed it! Yes to be honest it's very rare I use anything but an 8mm on the hook. When feeding 4mm and 6mm coppins for the bomb an 8mm skrettings is normally my best hookbait
