    Happy Sunday lovelies! We’re being more vulnerable this week, what masculine habits are you giving up/gave up?

    Thank you for sharing this inspirational story. I began my route of reinventing myself a year ago, and I'm now living healthier, more confident, and stronger, earning six figures, and having time to enjoy family and friends. I'm happier and live my life for myself. This is to encourage someone that "you can start anytime to have a reset it's worth it!" I'm striving hard to keep growing since it's a journey.

    I think this will help save my marriage. I cook, work, clean, have boys, be here for my husband but he says he doesn’t feel respected, I am argumentative. I’ve turned myself this way because of choices I’ve made in life. I’m gonna tap into that make it a life change. Thank you us black women need this.

    • @Lorriluxxe
      @Lorriluxxe  Год назад +1

      Wow, that’s real but your intentionality to become better is commendable. It’s not easy admitting we have work to do because we do our best at our level of consciousness. The fact you are taking steps means you are making progress 🫶🏽

      @@Lorriluxxe thank u beloved I’m 36 and black women like yourself and Shaharazad Ali are helping us black women have generational traumas and choices that have led us here. Maybe we save some of the youth while we can

    Felt the compliment tip. I started accepting compliments and not saying I’m not good enough. And accepting help and good treatment. It’s important black women take our femininity back and love and protect our peace and accept help and protection and financial support. ❤

    OMG so many of us can relate to generational "strong woman" syndrome. Many of us had to be because we didn't have that masculine at home, but it is certainly time to get back to being in that natural energy. Great video.

    I needed this. I was brought up to be independent and I had to fend for myself most of my life and for a while it was all I knew but now it's exhausting and I need change. I turn in my resignation. I need rest from all the "work".

    • @Lorriluxxe

      I think a lot of WOC were raised to be independent but we no longer prescribe to that hard work. Resignation in 📝

    It’s so hard not to tell someone not to do as you trying to tell someone what you desire and what you want and expect from them🙃

    • @Lorriluxxe
      @Lorriluxxe  Год назад +2

      I hear you, I really struggled with this because I’ve always been quite headstrong. However I learnt there’s a difference between expressing your needs & boundaries to a man with being authoritarian. A healthy masculine man values a nurturing woman. Also it’s exhausting to tell a man to be man, if we have to constantly tell/teach/show/scold I believe that’s telling in itself…

    I don't think those qualities should be considered masculine. I always felt weak and dependent. Being strong, powerful, independent, efficient, is my goal and the only way I'll survive.

    • @Lorriluxxe
      @Lorriluxxe  2 месяца назад +1

      I hear you hun, there’s definitely a place for these qualities especially when it comes to survival however having a balance with femininity is also powerful 🙌🏽

      @slavbarbie 2 месяца назад

      @@Lorriluxxe I understand that women who were always the strong ones and having to provide crave the ability to be safe and relaxed. However for me feeling dependent is the worst feeling and I'd love to be a strong woman. I also respect women who are fearless and courageous and strive to be that and I don't think men should take that for themselves. Strength is feminine too.
