Have the makers given any indication of how easy this is to implement in games? And are they going to be proactively supporting small-medium sized devs to implement it? It's nice that they've got some of the big name shooters on there but I'd be disappointed if I spent that much on an accessory only for it to not work on half my library. Getting the Dr. Beef team to add it to their games would be a good start.

I saw a photo of you using provolver with the rear half of a gunstock. Is this a viable option. Can you make a video this? It is already too expensive buying one. To be able to use it with a gun stock sweetens the deal. Surely they could have designed a module to be used either the front or back.
I purchased the pro Volver partly because of your salesmen ship, However, the companion app only opens in Microsoft word making it unusable. Can you help? As ProVolver never responds.
It's VERY expensive for what amounts to the Haptic module from a Time Crisis cabinet (or "Arcade GunCon" if you're a Weeb or old school Arcade-ie), strapped to a big battery and a Beetle BLE.

If this is your worry, worry not. It looks proper, feels proper, and is in-your-face with how strong the material is.

@@MacInVR dude, are you gonna review the 400 dollar rifle stock? i just looked and im like aww man, im so far behind on equipment and shit keeps popping up. ill never catch up lol
If you had this and the haptic rifle stock it would be good if there was a switch once mounted to the rear mag cup, so in rifle mode, it would disable the pistol haptic and only use the butt stock, then once unmounted to reach for your side arm it would engage the pistol haptic again. Then you can run both.

Dude there are no close ups of your hand moving. It is utterly pointless talking sbout it. We need to see it. Instead of a massive clip of your game play. A massive clip of the actual "pistol" and the recoil would of been mega.
To explain this, I always play Pop1 with my ProTubeVR gunstock with magnetic cups. The Provolver is mounted on the right Oculus controller and the left is connected to the front via a magnetic mount, so you can clip in and out as you see fit. Works really well and helps lock you aim in but does take time to get used to it. Does that explain? 😊

The material and construction is very strong. If this is your worry, worry not. It looks proper, feels proper, and is in-your-face with how strong the material is.
Depends , does it save me time and money instead of going to the range to practice my aim? if the answer is yes then I think its worth it, if no then not so much.
Pavlov has an amazing VR range and I've just built a ProVolver with a ProTubeVR gunstock attached 😀
@@MacInVR Nice! Can you show us? I just bought a provolver cause of your video
Not for native quest games?
Yeah, works with Onward, Contractors, Gun Club, Sniper Elite VR and more native Quest 2
Is the hand strap part of provolver? Is it for both or just the dominant hand?
No, thats a ProStrap and is sold seperately
@@MacInVR THX. Now I'm watching this :D

Welcome to the rabbit hole 🐇
How do I get the companion app ?
Companion app can be downloaded from the ProTubeVR website (downloads).
@@MacInVR So with the companion app, everything is compatible ? I would like to use it with steam vr, resident evil praydog mods
Damn I want this but for $400 I can't justify it...if it was like $250 it'd be perfect
DAMN, MAC!!! NOW I GOTTA GET ANOTHER QUEST 2????
Or an Index..or Vive Focus 3 😂
@@MacInVR got the index and vive pro 1/2 but no focus 3 :(
They do custom mounts for the Index, I've seen them being used by the guys at ProTubeVR. Look quite cool too 😎
@@MacInVR dude, are you gonna review the 400 dollar rifle stock? i just looked and im like aww man, im so far behind on equipment and shit keeps popping up. ill never catch up lol
I haven't got $400 🙄
How do you install the device
On Quest, it connects via Bluetooth. On PC, it works with the companion app
@@MacInVR what about index valve
Bluetooth via the dongle provided when you buy the ForceTube
How you install on quest 2
Ouch its a bit pricey! Compared to all the bhaptics gear you could get for that money! Still want it though!
Does this work with the oculus go?
No, sorry
@@MacInVR Guess I made poor choice with my money.
Does it work with Gun Club VR on the Oculus Quest
Yes, Gun Club is supported natively on Quest 😀
@@MacInVR Awesome, thank you!
looks awesome but i think its to expensive.. 100 - 150 euros and they would sell like hell.. but ill probably get one anyways :P
Hahaa...man maths done properly
👉😂😂😂👈
definitely seems awesome, but its more expensive than the quest 2 itself... ill skip for now
"tiring very quickly"
Weighs barely over a pound. Many competitive guns are pushing 4lbs.
Must be my puny arms 😂😂
4:13 WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT COME FROM????
3:43 that's a picatinny rail
We call them RIS in the UK, is there a difference? Be nice to know? 🙂
@@MacInVR yeah, picatinny is imperial units, RIS is metric, they are both being replaced by a new standard called NAR (Nato Accessory Rail)
Thanks mate, that explains it all. My airsoft guns have RIS and the Provolver is picatinny
@@MacInVR And the cool thing is: they are all interchangeable with oneanother!
Please help i can get provolver to work lol
Too expensive, 150 dollar could be a fair price...
I guessed what was in the box correctly, so what do I win 😉
If you had this and the haptic rifle stock it would be good if there was a switch once mounted to the rear mag cup, so in rifle mode, it would disable the pistol haptic and only use the butt stock, then once unmounted to reach for your side arm it would engage the pistol haptic again. Then you can run both.
That is a great idea, I think it would be complicated to do though. I'm sure some clever people could work it out
😍😂🥰
its still as expensive unfortubnatly
if only it was half the price. maybe next year
Sieht gut aus aber 400€ fast ist zu viel
🤤🤤🤤
There he is 😊
300 quid?? Get to fvck!! Ridiculous price.
$380 get the fuck outta here...😂
It is expensive but very nice on HLA 🙂
@@MacInVR to rich for my blood, you lose me there. I got all the peripherals for the quest but no pc and there will be no addition of the ProVolver any time soon... its 25% more than the quest..
its a bit pricy
It is, but it's huge fun 😁
Dude there are no close ups of your hand moving. It is utterly pointless talking sbout it. We need to see it. Instead of a massive clip of your game play. A massive clip of the actual "pistol" and the recoil would of been mega.
Such scammy market the whole gun stock market for VR full of scammers.
awesome review
How is this in population one with all the climbing? Is it awkward? Can you go two handed instantly or is it locked in?
To explain this, I always play Pop1 with my ProTubeVR gunstock with magnetic cups.
The Provolver is mounted on the right Oculus controller and the left is connected to the front via a magnetic mount, so you can clip in and out as you see fit. Works really well and helps lock you aim in but does take time to get used to it.
Does that explain? 😊
@@MacInVR yes this looks like I’m going to buy this. Will this work on the Index controllers? I guess for the cash I’m hoping it would work with both. Thanks this looks amazing.
There are separate mounts for Quest 2 and Index, so you'd have to make sure you buy the Index specific cup
