That shows the commitment towards your subscribers in presenting pure and exciting content . A big thumbs up to you and what a great bike your Tiger is. Cheers. @Abhinav Bhatt I don't understand, this is a 1200cc bike, which seems to have plenty of torque and power and yet it has trouble climbing the steep roads. Is it because of poor low end torque? Sure..
      Thats possible..
      That u were worried about the weight and momentum hurting you and or the bike incase things turned ugly south..
      Btw do u classify ur tiger as top or medium heavy and slightly difficult to maneuver? Spxly when super loaded.?
      Afro twin and honda owners have repeatedly praised the bottom heavy balance and hence maneuverable and flickable nature of even the heavy Hondas.
      Need ur opinion on your tiger / bmw to wrap up my research
      Edit : weight aside.. I seem to be ignoring the dynamics of size.. That's probably Becos of my inadequate experience

    • @abhinavbhatt
      @abhinavbhatt  3 года назад

      Top heavy. That's what had me worried. And to fix a bike like this in a small town. And the expenses involved. So I did not want to drop it there and that's what got me worked up. Yeah, the AT feels much lighter in its construct due to the lower centre of gravity. This big Tiger is old school. Meant more for munching highways than technical riding. It will do it, but needs a better rider than me.

    I have done the same route and destination on my Himalayan last year in Feb...I was on 1st Gear too however Himalayan being a nimble and lighter bike as compared to other ADV's wasn't this tough ✌️

    • @abhinavbhatt
      @abhinavbhatt  4 года назад

      Yeah. Problem here was the weight and the sheer size of the bike. Also, all the weight was pretty high, making the turns hard work.

    I thought there was a problem with the clutch plate to begin with.......i di matheran run on my friends tiger which is incredibly steep as well but didn't find it that hard (bikes clutch did). But then matheran is paved but the turns are ridiculously sharp and steep......i think you should check the bike fir clutch wear.🙏

    Start dragging the rear brake instead of the clutch. The rear sinks in and the throttle isn't as jerky. Should help a lot.

    Try such turns standing.
    I had a similar experience on the way to Macleodgunj,it is also a lesson in reducing your gear.Since you have the bike at the least skills should be enhanced.
