Good stuff. So while going through the specs of the 800, I came across more models with lower seat heights TIGER 800 XR 810-830mm TIGER 800 XRx LOW 760-780mm Good options for shorter riders. Nice job TRIUMPH!
Realistically, being 5'10", I have no perspective on the flat foot situation, but I do remember struggling with the top heavy nature of the speed triple. Still get nightmares about it. But once I did start applying the moto trek and short people weight management techniques it became very easy. The only hairy moment would be when you've to brake in the middle of a u turn. My friend who's 5'7.5" is NOT comfortable on another friend's speed triple precisely because he can't flat foot it. And it makes him uneasy, because with the high mount exhaust and the triple engine it's REALLY top heavy. But then again, there are 5'4" tall women out there who muscle around a GS (which admittedly has a much lower CG thanks to the boxer config) so I guess with practice and technique, anything is possible...
Nice video, Learned a lot through your honest video. If opportunity, time and fund knocks on my door, I shall not miss the ride. LOL, Presently, not my cup of tea. Take Care, Enjoy the ride and keep us all informed.👍
Abhinav what are your opinions on a RE 650 adv if they plan to bring one.. based on Himalayan... u think the current specifications of 650s are ok for the adv class or do they need to put some changes in gearing and other stuff
Himalayan 411 almost weight 200 650 going to weight more There is no proper cooling system They should add proper cooling system to bike Going to cost around 4 lakhs plus
Abhinav, when you interview/ask a question, please let the other person complete first before jumping onto next one. No offense but just a little suggestion. At times you tend to hurry .. Other than that, you covered all points needed.. Nicely done
Very good tiger Abhinav. Keep your dream project on high zeal to feel satisfied . Hey abhinav!! Why don't u meet @maskedmoto. He's working on a triumph-enfield 650 build. In the same royal enfield workshop where u got the meteor!! (Just suggesting!!)
7:20... You clock some 400-420kms before fuel low warning comes,, at that time Distance to empty shows 90kms remaining.. and even after it shows zero you hv some 1-2 litre fuel in the tank.. Hope it clarifies...
@@ankushhandoo but XCA model is little less than rally pro. And now they have come up with 850 sport. Anyway congrats for buying bike.. I am planning for tiger rally pro.. only problem is how u am going to use its full potential and how much time I am gonna spend on it.. after so much money keeping inside garage is useless...
Thank you! When i planned it in march, all stocks were exhausted, could manage a xcx somehow,, plus for the old stocks there were huge offers...even the new 850 sport which is launching in sometime will be expensive than the deal i got.... 900 will surely be better...but sometimes you hv to compromise...may be next time
