It is actually kind of cool that someone took the drum parts out so that we could have a nice remix that came out it.
There is also a version that's JUST drums and bass, now someone needs to do a cover/remix of the melody off that 😂

This is pretty easy to do for like 90% of megadrive/genesis titles, too. You can pretty much just disable emulation if the DAC and the noise channel.
