      Charles Culnane Me too! I was 7 years old & begged my parents to let me go with my uncle, for months, finally they gave in! My parents were strict, but they didn't hide stuff,, like cuss words or nudity in movies. I'm not sure if they would've let me see it, if they had seen it first, but my uncle who was abt 19 at the time, had already seen it, knew how bad I wanted to see this movie & told my parents it wasn't that bad! lol I remember not understanding everything, but it's still to this day, one of my favorite movies ever! Oh & I was back at the theatre, with my aunt & uncle, as soon as "The Trial of Billy Jack" came out! 😁 Another on of my favorite movies!

      You can get all 4 Billy Jack movies in a dvd box set. Just thought I'd let ya know. I know I have mine. These were all good movies for its time. I can remember watching this one at the movie theater when it first came out. Afterwords, we all wanted to take Karate. lol I was one of the few who stuck with it & I took the same kind as what was featured in the Billy Jack movies, Hapkido. And I still do to this day. Its a great learning experience & I'm glad I'm learning it. But these movies to this day, STILL stand the test of time. And being Native American myself, they really DO hit home with me.

    It's amazing how many were touched by this film and the follow-up of the Trial of Billy Jack, yet it's sad how little has changed and I fear our future is going to get much worse than it is now since this country is run by evil tyrants who care nothing about the citizens of this once great nation of ours. Finally, the statement Tom made in this film as Billy Jack on how the US government has broken every treaty and promise they ever made with the Native American peoples... that is a 100% true and factual statement. R.I.P Tom aka Billy Jack.

    I grew up in Tempe Az in the 70s and 80s and went with my family to Prescott for the famous 4th of July Rodeo many years, supposedly the oldest Rodeo in the US, Im not sure. Anyways, we always ate at the annual Pancake Breakfast on the morning of the 4th, held at the Courthouse downtown, where Billy kicks ass, barefoot and all. God this brings back serious memories for me.

    Terribly written, badly acted, and poorly directed, so why do I LOVE IT SO MUCH? I have watched this movie so many times, and the sequel, I can practically mouth the words and the songs along with it. I didn't so much like Born Losers or Billy Jack goes to Washington, but this and the Trial of Billy Jack are magnificent....and I can't really put my finger on WHY!!!

      Your thoughts on the Billy Jack saga are very true. It has feeling of being real actually not badly acted. They actually seem more real than the polished Hollywood types of movies today. Also, the appeal probably lies in the fact that everyone cheers for the underdog being the troubles youth that Billy Jack is sworn to protect.

    These films are possibility the only films I like better than Frank Capra and John Ford films. Capra or Ford might have done much better filmaking. But Tom Laughlin, his wife and the rest that made this had more guts than Ford or Capra. Thats a lot for me to say as I am a huge respecter of Ford and Capra. I heard they signed Mark Wahlberg to play Billy Jack. If a hollywood studio does this film today they will cut the very heart out of the story and ruin it. They'll turn the Billy Jack character into a mad man or something. Hollywood is a corporate owned satanic fuck hole now.

    Oh good gawd! This is proof that idiots shouldn't be allowed to have cameras. It was recorded off a tv screen, sound and image quality made a bad movie even worse. between my fingers and the double imaging on the screen and I think someone walked in front of the screen, combined with the ringing of a cell and the ever pleasant beeping of texting this was a horrible video. The worst on youtube in my humble opinion.

      Im sorry miss blair but did I say I liked smut? I don't believe I did. Perhaps you should get your eyesight checked. Maybe drop by your shrinks off ice while you're out. This was a very bad recording done by two people who should not have done so. I have no idea what they were thinking with him in he background and waving his fingers in front of the lens. As for sex I guess you were probably adjusting your foil hat or trying to remember if you took your prozac when the whiny blond was raped? Or the redhead had her juggs out? Oh I know, you were having a long conversation with your twenty six cats during their tea party you throw daily when Billy found posener with a minor child in bed? Well say hello for me to the night butterflies as they flutter about your room whispering to you about how the government is watching you.

    • @karenhall8596
      @karenhall8596 8 лет назад +1

      No, you never said you liked smut, but I'll point out what you DID say. You said "in my humble opinion". Most people who actually HAVE humility don't go around accusing others of being idiots. You don't like the quality? Fine. But you could at least appreciate the fact that you can watch this for free because of someone else's efforts--otherwise, you can actually purchase this and the rest of the Billy Jack movies. (Otherwise, don't knock what you're getting for nothing, because no one invited you specifically.)

      I LOVE hate mail! I actually only watch the fight scenes and the. He did well for a limited student of Hapkido. I did do my duty lad. I spent 22 years active duty so whiny lil bitches like you can have freedom of speech. You're very welcome for your freedom. And I mean that sincerely.

    • @karenhall8596
      @karenhall8596 8 лет назад

      LOL- I'm sure you do love hate mail, as it's the only mail you get. And what was that? You only watched the fight scenes and the?? And about the 22 years active duty so whiny little--oh, I'm sorry, "lil"--bitches like me can have freedom of speech? You're presuming an awful lot,don't you think? Especially since you have no idea what you're talking about, as I was in the Air Force--so don't tell me about how much of a hero YOU are to grant ME something that you have absolutely no power to grant. You're not special, you just like to think you are because you're a bitter old man with nothing better to do than think it's everyone else's fault that you have no friends. You're just SOOO misunderstood. And the "lad" part? LOL--like I said...you presume way too much. And I mean EVERYTHING I've said to you....sincerely.
