So seemingly random how I arrived at this gem of an interview. I watched a movie on a streaming service and the next one that automatically played was Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, one of my top 20 favorite movies, which still holds up 53 years later. I had such fun seeing Veruca brat it up again and thought, I wonder what happened to the actress who played her? And found this interview. What a pleasant surprise it was for me to see what a lovely and fun person Julie Dawn became and is and how much fun our interviewer is and how much fun he made this interview, truly an enjoyable time between two lovely people.
She should've said "Paramount" in this interview on what it would've looked like if Paramount made the movie without David Wolper including its decision to revive the classic logo.
It could be better if Veruca had her experiences to the The Little Engine That Could trains. 1. The Little Engine That Could (1930/1991/2011) 2. Dumbo (1941/2019) 3. The Easter Bunny Is Comin’ To Town (1977)
