This method works great. I was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while cleaning my glass with a not so good result. After putting
my sandwich down on the tool box i continued cleaning my windshield as Mike showed and the results were CRYSTAL CLEAR. NEVER eat a
sandwich while cleaning a windshield.. Just an extra tip to share.

Over the years you have given me so many wonderful tips. I have a tip for you. To get rid of a stench in any car that has fabric seats and can also be used on the rugs after you clean them. Get the highest alcohol vodka at the cheapest price and put it in a spray bottle. Spray it directly on car seats that are fabric or on the rug to get rid of any stench the car has. Usually that stench is in the fabric of the vehicle. I learned this from a person who works wardrobe in hollywood. They use it by spraying it directly on the clothing. It does not leave a smell of vodka or alcohol. Let it dry completely and it'll have a fresh non perfume smell.
When I did spring cleaning this year, I did it on our mattresses. Just to have a fresh start. It worked perfectly. Try it. Just put it in a squirt bottle and spray it like a mist.

I am 65 have been driving since 1975 and been cleaning and doing other things to cars before that - and I'm going to tell you, if you have your car exposed to any kind of well water or commercial car washes and they sit outside you aren't getting the window cleaned no matter how much you put that stuff on. I just went through it again on my 2016 Toyota RAV4 with invisible glass, and with hot water, ammonia, and rubbing alcohol. You can polish the window until it looks like it's gone - but it's still there. Been there, done that, got the residue.

Will try it on the van parked outside. Then I thought it might work on the inside of the motorcycle helmet wind screen to help prevent fogging in the winter months. I apply wax to the motorcycle wind screen to make the pits not noticeable.
