Positioning is one of the MOST important parts of becoming a more well-rounded player. Let’s look at some of the most common mistakes and how to fix them! If you guys enjoy, leave a like and check out the stream later tonight!
1)Crossfire during postplants 2)Overexpose angles(poor movement) 3)Not clearing agains walls 4)Wide swinging/Overpeeking 5)Playing too far from entry fragger 6)Entry onto sight with bomb 7)Rotating too early on defense 8)Not sliding positions after death 9)Playing in mid too long 10)Retaking sites without splitting up
Few things I want to say here: First of all, I really appreciate your content and the effort you put into this. I know you really love this shit and its just refreshing to see. Secondly, I’m glad your not some vague clickbait BS channel like others i’m sure you’re aware of. I’m glad I found this page honestly. Third, Its so funny seeing you say these things about higher ranks doing dumb stuff like this, because often times in lower ranks like bronze, you’ll see teams that do this well and absolutely demolish the opposition. Often times in bronze In order to rank up I HAVE to IGL, especially when I know my aim isnt especially cracked or anything and id have to rely on positioning a lot in order to gain the most value from every single encounter. I’m always the only one talking and honestly Ive grown comfortable with it. Most times people are pretty chill anyway and just follow your lead if it wins the rounds over and over again. But simple positioning is SO KEY and this video deadass highlighted almost every aspect of why this can win you the round without having to be Tenz or some shit. Fourth, hugging the wall & peek openings is the one thing I learned in this video that is revolutionary for many reasons... You get to places way faster and you’re less visible while doing it, like when you’re hugging the inner lane on a racetrack. And also, not needing to “see” the enemy when you know they’re there and can play off of that info in a way that has high value even if you die.
The reason this means so much to me too is cause down in these ranks during peak NA playtime hours there are always account sellers and boosters on these lower ranked accounts pushing people to gold, its actually quite a big business and a lot of immortals/diamonds are doing it to make a quick few bucks while playing. So in order to defeat that one guy thats dropping 45 kills, we need to outsmart him first positioning wise, then pick off the rest of his team. Trust me, this is such an issue its EVERY other round I cap you not.
I think when you give examples you might wanna go into a custom and actually show us what you're talking about it. I think that extra work would make your videos more comprehensive.
I die to people wide-swinging more often than the "better" way to peek because I never expect someone to run a marathon across my screen before they shoot me
Man I always miss the Tuesday and Thursday streams because I stay in india and it's 3 am in the morning at that time but I always watch it later on Twitch :) btw great content .. dragon clan forever ♥️
It would be cool if the gameplay video matched up with the tips (even if it's just you walking around in a custom game)! e.g. It's confusing watching random gameplay of Haven while you're talking about specific locations on Split.
Hey kyle would be cool if you would back up your talk with visuals. Instead of showing random gameplay maybe show the concepts you are talking about in a custom game
You’ve been playing Breach a lot more often in your videos. I’m trying to learn Breach and it would be super helpful if you make a lineup video for his aftershock and other abilities
I just recently hit plat after months of being stuck in gold 2. It was just a week of aimlab and I instantly got to plat. The thing is, there is just this nervous feeling that I am in plat and im surrounded by better players, every game I play I have this feeling and it DOES affect my gameplay at some degree. I feel like I'm in a new, harder environment and I feel like getting trapped in my own mindset. People who are reading this, have you ever gotten in this situation? And is there any workarounds?
get an alt to play with.... then see how different you are when you play with no risk vs when you do... it revealed a lot about myself honestly and tbh it just had to do w trusting your practice and yourself
Easily the best channel for guides to the game. No click baits and so much more better than the "more popular" proguides, skillcap trash channels. Keep up the work!
Just as feedback, it would be nice to have you show us what you're discussing in the background either in a custom or an in game example. It's hard to focus on listening and watching irrelevant gameplay at the same time - and some points come across difficultly because it's hard to imagine. I love your content so I'm just leaving this as something I'd like to see. Keep it up man.
I try and tell my teammates to drop the bomb if they are just gonna dash into site or run in but they just either ignore me or say that it doesn’t matter or they don’t care. I try and give advice to call out strategies but people rarely listen
i think that would be better if you demonstrate with video also instead of talking and put another video that i think nin related w/ what you explained
Hey Dragonmar, could you please go into a custom game when talking about examples and show us them? It may be more work for you, but I find it easier to understand.
Yo dragonmar love ur vids! A lil suggestion - the video of u in a custom game showing examples of the points wud be much better rather than the background vid of one of ur gameplays
people really often forget that defenders divide like 2-3 or 2-1-2. Attackers are afraid of one guy on site because they dont figure out where is the rest
It essentially means that when you trying to clear out positions you should be up against a wall instead of in the middle of a pathway. More Cover + Option to Retreat + Eliminates Additional Angles You Are Seen From
here's my take on rotates, only rotate when a teammate dies on that site. Generally speaking on a double gun round, the defenders should be able to defend the site on the default until one of them dies. If you can't hold a site with 2-3 people, that's a completely different issue
one of the best res's its the smoothest in my opinion is 1680x1050 in valoorant fullscreen is really good because its a little stretched so you can see players a little better cause on 16:10 the players are more clearer rather than 1920x1080

i thought this was a proguides vid so i didnt click on it, but then i saw it was you and i had to. i like the new pfp and thumbnails!
fr, those videos are so unbelievably vague, its mind numbing
Yeah they are just clickbait and don’t even help
Lol same for me
For me at least, most of the skillcapped guides aren’t that clickbait, but pro guides and game leap are
@@theblobewab6844 skill capped actually show you how to imrpove since they even do some science research ffs lol

Boom. Sent it. Standard ground 7-10 business days

Hey thanks so much and hopefully someday I can stream earlier! ❤️
My 13th birthday is in 7 mins. My first moments as a teen is gonna be watching dragonmar lol
Happy birthday!🎉
don't do stupid things and take care about ur future
13:36 why does this guy have a pencil in him? 😂
Bruh now that I look at it the drone dart does kinda look like a pencil
we got the same profile picture

damn bro i love ur thumbnail keep it up bro
Haha thank you! I’m using artists for it now as I struggle with photoshop!
Yoo I've never been this quick to any video ever before lmao. Lessgo, Dragon clan!
Let’s gooooo
Hey kyle would be cool if you would back up your talk with visuals. Instead of showing random gameplay maybe show the concepts you are talking about in a custom game
Yes absolutely something I want to do more of. As you can see some videos have that others do not. Ideally all will in the future!
Yeah that was the same thing i wanted to say!
I appreciate your videos a lot! I think it would be great if you did a vod review of ANGE1 since both of you are brim/omen mains :D
IMT Koler first but I can look into ANGE1 as well and see if he’s down!
Dragonmar looking forward to the IMT Koler video!!
I would love to see some more tips to escape plat or maybe even vid reviews, I was plat 2 and dropped down to gold 3
You’ve been playing Breach a lot more often in your videos. I’m trying to learn Breach and it would be super helpful if you make a lineup video for his aftershock and other abilities

Love the videos, much appreciated. I liked & subscribe with notifications. If y’all didn’t do the same what are you waiting for!
Very kind of you!
Great content ! It would be nice to have gameplay that reflects each mistake you are describing.

Late to the game but it would have been a 100% better video if you would have shown the actual stuff you are talking about in a custom game
The footage could easilly be showing the postitioning but instead its just a random match.
Dragonmar should like this comment cause im not early
You arrived precisely when you were supposed to!
I try and tell my teammates to drop the bomb if they are just gonna dash into site or run in but they just either ignore me or say that it doesn’t matter or they don’t care. I try and give advice to call out strategies but people rarely listen

Thanks dragonmar! You make really helpful content.
Thanks hope you check out Saturdays video as I think you’ll love it!
Do you own any store gun skins?
Yes I own a ton on my main account :)
What I got in this video is that every team mate I get are trash and full of EGO.
That enemy player in the chat spiralling u while losing 13 3 lol
ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR ENTRY FRAGGER GODDAMNIT.
i mastered trading and i get 30+ kills every game now :)
Doesn't staying close to entry fraggers lead to potential double kills? Is it a fine balance of being close but not too close?
Yes in a way, close but not too close is important. Close enough to react but not stumbling on top of each other.
3:57 the ole vandal crouch walk spray
Jesus Christ is the only way into heaven
Love your vids man ❤
No dislikes, and none planned, great job on the video
Haha thank you
Hey Dragonmar could you make a peaking guide, for like when to jiggle and when to wide swing?
I can look into it, I have an aiming guide coming out soon and I could touch on that in there for ya!
Sure that would be perfect!
Also I’m an omen main who just hit gold two. Could you do more omen vods since you are a great omen main?
Damn I miss the old thumbs. This one just looks like proguides. I was almost about to skip the video.
Noted. Change is coming, just finding something that works for me! I think you’ll like Saturday’s thumbnail
Hey Dragonmar, could you please go into a custom game when talking about examples and show us them? It may be more work for you, but I find it easier to understand.

what is this proguides/skillcapped thumbnail lmao
New artist for next videos, hopefully you’ll like more
U re very good.
I was in Bronze, now im in silver due to ur tips.
Thanks!
Don’t peek dangerous angles with your knife out or when you’re reloading! Top tip to rank up with
You genuinely will put pro guides out of business. Amazing content.
Dope vid!
That omens back must really hurt in that gameplay 🤣🤣🤣
Everyone shut up Dragonmar just posted
I thought this was a random company thumbnail
im surprised u dont pay ppl to watch these vids
Love the new logo
Thank you I do too!
i wish you would have showed examples on a lot of the tips
Dragonmar I could not understand the 3rd point can you please explain it to me in next stream? Maybe in a custom game? Thanks
It essentially means that when you trying to clear out positions you should be up against a wall instead of in the middle of a pathway. More Cover + Option to Retreat + Eliminates Additional Angles You Are Seen From
@@Dragonmar thanks sir
I strat falling in love with this game 🔥 ty bro
What is your sensitivity and dpi?
1000 DPI, .285 in game
yo for 10 mans does rank matter?
We accept all ranks and try to make teams as fair as possible. If we get enough players, we can even separate it by rank as well.
here's my take on rotates, only rotate when a teammate dies on that site. Generally speaking on a double gun round, the defenders should be able to defend the site on the default until one of them dies. If you can't hold a site with 2-3 people, that's a completely different issue
Debatable
what are other resolutions other than native you’d reccomend?
I only use native, I never stretch so unfortunately I’m useless for help there sorry!
