Hyped That the podcast is back. Hopefully you were able to do a few when FD was in town. Give yourself a buffer, so it doesn’t seem so overwhelming.
i think Lukes mindset towards drifting is refreshing. throwing around a weighty automatic because its all that was available, no excuses that the car might not be capable enough etc.
too many people out there with more than capable cars that continue to overbuild because they think you need 400+hp to even think about having fun drifing.
Just watched some old riding vids of Luke I had no idea he was so good,Way ahead of his time

That was one of my favs in this series. Drift Week was soo much fun to watch.....and luke fink just made it for me. I hadnt seen much of his driving before but wow crazy talented and soo layed back.
If Adam does make it back out to Mt. Gambier, I will definitely be driving there this time. Will not be missing it again!
Finally, a new podcast! This one was really good, you seem to have this down. You let people go off on their tangents for just long enough, and steer people back to the main talking points without doing it blatantly. I can’t wait to see who’s next. I’d like to see Collete, Johan, Grant, and Vaughn.

Awesome podcast, I caught a few videos where Luke was teaching Rudnick how to do a backie and explaining things and he was just awesome.
Remember meeting luke back in the uk days, such a humble guy who lives for shredding

Awesome podcast guys so good to hear perspectives on everything drifting. Hoping for DCA to come back and get big. The drift scene in Sydney Australia is pretty rough and all the local tracks are making it hard for us, can't wait for some more relaxed events and everyone running bro lines and getting away from the ruthless comp lines.
@adamLZ you’re definitely correct in saying what you said about our government, Straya is a vibe but the government is not.
The passion Luke has for the sport n his track is AMAZING. sad too hear everything Luke's over come (money he's had to spend) to keep that track up n running. N now for the speedway to be put up for sale n he'll most likely lose it all. The bloke can never catch a break.
The place has been far sale for many years. It was always spending money on the possibility of losing it

That story about Daniel Hollands borrowing Stewy Bryant’s missile is great, that car may have been bent but some of the videos of Stewy wheeling that thing are unreal. I’ve got Daniels old r31 Skyline. I really need to pull my finger out and fix it.
Got massive respect for Luke. First time I saw him was in the HFM S14 at Oran Park, he impressed me so much when he won that day.
Saw him again at ebisu, unbelievable driving.
Had the pleasure of driving with him before NSW shut down, I can't remember what he said but we had a quick interaction and I was just like wow what a cool dude

I love Luke's approach to parenting. It reminds me of my childhood. Dr. Jordan Peterson presented an idea that fits here. "Let kid's do dangerous stuff safely". We learn best from our mistakes. 🤙

I had to smoke a joint after this hearing all the issues in Luke’s life made me anxious haha
The part where Luke was like that one guy didn't want to come to the US because he couldn't get weed... lol I died. Even at that point in time it wasn't particularly hard to get most of the time. These days it's a lot easier of course in most places since it's legal in about half the US.

Iv thought about the idea of Luke competing in the US before but FD is not the place for it as it's not viable from a money point of veiw but him at a clutch kickers round in a half decent car would be great for many reasons, like he could get noticed by American brands/business/promoters (not for a drivers deal or anything serious like that just to make more connections for more fun enjoyable trips kind of thing) but he has friends like gk teck, adam (drift hq), Kansai wheels and no doubt many more that could at least assist in a few clutch kickers rounds and watch him clean up the competition.

I know you feel overwhelmed but I just want to say I love listening to the podcast while I’m at work my kids loving watching clutch kickers and fd events from your POV with me I’ve just sold our house up here in sc please let me know if you’d be interested in trying to build a track up here to run events I’d love to get back into the car world I just work so much and try so hard to spend time with my kids when I’m not working that I’ve just lost all touch with my project truck and anything automotive actually 😣
