Texas claims to be for the owner or the lease signed person, but my fam found out the hard way, the tx law allows invaders if the person has “allowed” them entrance or in this case a permission to leave made it seem like an invite. Texas needs laws CHANGED

That's why you remove the fence, and send them a notice of demolition. If it's your property, you can still do with it what you want. They won't want to live there with no fence, and a demolition notice. There are ways to move a squatter.

If Texas had proper laws and protections on the books then they could have hauled them all out. That's what happens when you live in a place with no regulations or protections for homeowners and even renters.
I had to get on the Houston Apt Association's @$$ about issues I had at my apt that they did nothing about so when the lease was up I moved. They tried not to return my deposit, but I took a whole roll of pictures and ended up getting twice the deposit back due to their negligence.

I don't understand how these situations even exist. This is the basics of common sense (which isn't as common anymore) and if they refuse to leave its breaking and entering period. It should be treated the same as any other breaking and entering. If the OWNER of the house doesn't want to press charges thats fine, but if the police are called they shouldn't be leaving the scene til everyone is gone or arrested. It's as simple as that, but apparently somehow it's not
