Your descriptions are spot on! My go to mascara is Hynt and have been using it for years. My eyelashes have been thinning over time so I've been on the hunt for one that beats Hynt. I just tried both the Inika Bold and Inika Long Lash mascaras and the two produced spider lashes on me. I still have time to return the former so I will. The Fitglow mascara, WOW. So true, it magnifies the lashes (which I desperately need!). Immediately saw a difference. A keeper! I put the Inika Long Lash on top and double wow. Thanks again for this review. I've been using Think Dirty app for the past few years and while my skincare/hair routine has majorly improved, when it comes to makeup I just get overwhelmed and often don't use any... even though I want to. The lily lolo applicator I am not a fan of. It is too bulky and I get clumps right off the bat every time. Formula seems fine though. Anyway, do you know of any waterproof mascara yet? Asking because I am getting married in a month and don’t know if I will tear up during the ceremony hehe thanks!
Ohhh I don't have a current waterproof mascara that I'd recommend yet in the green and clean beauty space. But if I do find one I love, I will absolutely share it! Congrats!!!

Been wondering about the Jane Iredale primer too, so thanks for that. ;) Also have heard amazing things about the Per-fekt gel mascara...which seems to be out of stock a lot. Would love for you to try that sometime.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not a huge fan of the ingredients in the current formula, so we'll see whether I purchase or not, mind you, like you said, it's always out of stock!

Nicely done. Thank you. Have tried Honest Beauty and Hynt. Both had a little bit of flaking and transfer/panda eyes. Not horrible, but def after a long day.
Love the Honest Beauty Mascara, always have one on hand, Love the Lily Loly Big Lash, but don't like the hourglass wand....hard to get corner areas & bottom lashes. Hynt is ok. I do want to try the Inika at some point & I may try one of the Pacifica mascara's next, maybe the new Black Crystals or Dream big.....have you tried any Pacifica? Happy Wednesday :)
Mindy A I’ve tried both their dream big mascara and the steller gaze and I would say they are the same formula with different wands. The steller gaze has a classic wand, and the dream big has an adjustable plastic wand. The formula is really good for holding a curl but it’s not the most volumizing/ lengthening and can smudge just a bit. They have a waterproof one I haven’t tried yet though :)

Hey! You're welcome. I think there are a bunch more brown mascara options out there. I just reviewed/ beauty battle Erin's Faces (vs INIKA curvy lash) and I know it now comes in brown, but it's a bit more bold. Still a good one.💜
I have seen lots of amazing reviews recently of the Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara. I saw I am not the only one interested in your opinion on this one. ;) Would LOVE your feedback. Also you mentioned that you notice a difference when using the primer with some mascaras, and not others. Could you tell me which it helped, and which it didn't?
You are correct! A lot of people have asked me to give it a shot so I'm buying it soon. I've tried a TON of mascaras and in those reviews, I mention when I use primer and when I don't. I wish I had a quick list lol, but I don't. I'd definitely check out the other mascara round-up that I did, and I have a starter-kit version of it as well. Just go to the main page and enter 'mascara.' From there, you will find the roundups! I think that will help a bit! A good rule of thumb for me is, primer never really hurts lol.
Have you ever tried to thrive “causemetics” mascara? Is it as clean as they advertise. I love it and I want to go back to it as I just tried the eye of Horus and it made my eyes so itchy

Ah yes, shellac. Sounds terrible HA! If you pop the ingredient into the EWG database, you'll see it listed as a 1 with "limited data available" to back it up. www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/705897/SHELLAC/ It's an interesting choice for the mascara, but I've seen it in other products. And tbh, it's definitely not the worst that I've seen in mascaras. Here's some more info about cosmetic-grade shellac: www.dmshellac.com/cosmetic-grade-shellac/ That way, you can make the best decision for your lashes :) It's below a '3' and I'm personally ok with it for now. If you are not, I 100% respect that and I always say, if you're unsure and don't like the info you see on an ingredient, pass. You can find alternatives!!! Thanks for the call out!

I haven't yet! I tried their fruit pigmented mascara and it was iffy for me. I'll let you know if I try it though! 🙌
xpyre sent mines back. It irritated my eyes and caused them to itch. This was one of the biggest compliant for those that purchased pure’s mascara.

None of them are waterproof. I do have a review for the Ere Perez mascara thought- and it's waterproof!
