I'm new to the green beauty _thing_ and mascara is the one thing I'm struggling with. My favorite so far has been from W3LL PEOPLE (I already had Pacifica Stellar Gaze and Physician's Formula...their Original in the bamboo-looking tube in my stash). I will definitely pick up the Burt's Bees mascara, as well as the Honest Co mascara. Thanks so much!
Nice!! Honest and crunchi I really enjoyed. Even the Pacifica but found their 'stellar gaze' is my fav by them great length and the brown color is such a great shade, I recommend the black if that's what you prefer but definitely recommend!!

I have tried most of the ones you reviewed and I agree. My lashes are short and super straight. Honest is so good. Recently I got the Antonym one and it reminds me a lot of the Honest mascara. Fitglows is just too expensive for what it is if I’m being real!

VirtuDiaries I don't know how true this is but, I've seen other ppl comment that they put a little heat somewhat warm (NOT HOT) with their hair dryer on the eyelash curler and then curl their eyelashes and that keeps them from going down all day! :-) of course this is before mascara is applied. Another person mentioned when your about to apply your mascara let the wand out for 15 seconds then apply it to your eyelashes... According to them it will prevent the mascara to apply too wet and bring down your lashes. I have yet to try any of these tips but, I've seen many ppl comment with positive results. :-) my lashes don't go down unless, I apply a very wet mascara. But I might consider doing the hair dryer tip lol just out of curiosity.

It's not scary at all and while I could go without, I think it 100% makes my lashes better before applying mascara. I haven't tried a ton of different ones, but I recommend the ones by Sephora brand because they make different ones based on your eye shape. So it really helps with how the clamp will fit to your eye and I think its way better than standard ones I've use in the past. I think I have their curler for "almond" shaped eyes. I definitely recommend you give it a go! :)
Amber, have you tried the mascara from 100% Pure? I have been using that and I use their lipsticks. None of their foundations look right on me. I am not sure because I have not seen all of your videos but their foundations and concealers are not so great. The colors of them are always orange-y, settle in the pores, and do not cover well even with their primer. I have a full bottle of their Luminous Primer that I did not send back on time to get refunded. I recently tried their water-based foundation thinking since now it's more full coverage that it would work for dry skin but it doesn't and the shade range is not great either. Same thing with their 2nd skin foundation, colors are off and settles into the pores. However I do love their Maracuja mascara and a few of their lipsticks. But I would love to know your opinion of their mascara if you have tried it. So, now I have 3 of their foundations that I do not use and they are just sitting here. Sad. So if anyone is interested in these foundations let me know.

I like to start out every other day and I use mine and night. Then you could bump it up to everyday once your skin adjusts. I now use it all over my face every other and focus it on just my chin every single night because that is where I need it most/my problem area.
How does the honest beauty stay on? Does it smudge or flake? I currently have Burts Bees and its the first mascara ever (green or conventional) that doesnt give me racoon eyes. Does the Honest Beauty have staying power?
I think that the Honest staying power is one of the best! It does not wear on my lids and it only begins to slightly flake or crumble if your eyelids have oil on them or it's the very end of the tube!

I do mascara FIRsT :D Then I can clean up and not have to worry about wrecking my other makeup. Light last coat at the end.
