Hi Alex! Again kudos for such an insightful and inspiring video. Funny story: while watching this video I looked up on my bookshelf and realized I had one of the books you were reviewing, just sitting there untouched. I think my mom brought it with her when she moved in with me a few years ago. “The Power of Habit” This video is just the push I needed to pick it up and start reading 😁 Thanks for always providing just the right content I need and right on time. Hey Alex? Is there any sort of advice you could give on getting outside of my comfort zone and trying new activities, and becoming rich and successful like you? If you could I'd really appreciate it
Hey Devin! Of course, I actually have a video topic lined up about the “Comfort Zone” - so stay tuned for that. Firstly I think life isn’t just about financial “success” - obviously we all strive to be well off enough to live comfortably and have a roof over our heads and food on the plate. In my opinion what’s more important than constantly wanting more money is finding contentment and happiness with what we have, and knowing when enough is enough. You know? Tell me, what’s the one thing you fear most (comfort zone & activity wise)? How can you do something today to push the boundary on that a bit?
@@AlexanderAyling I fear that I'm never going to be fully independent and autonomous because of my Asperger's Syndrome and I'm fearful of trying different activities and career options and even finding purpose because I feel like I'm never going to find it
Devin. Step 1 - believe in yourself. You may have challenges that make your path less easy than others but know that if you believe in yourself, if you accept the challenge, and you try your best, then you can do anything you put your mind to.

Ok Alex, I’m going to drop in a book that so many hate, but it has withstood the test of time & very challenging, filled with incredible warriors. Many would argue it has inspired to many wars throughout the world but if it’s a fairy tail, why would that be? It has all the same motivational, inspiring stuff your reading in your book list. The Bible. The living, breathing word of God. Even many nonbelievers have been challenged in trying to dismiss the legitimacy of the Bible let alone the science behind it. That it get under so many people skin throughout all of history just indicates relevant true. It’s filled with trials & tribulation that inspires one to overcome while still thinking of others. I say this because so many religions have used it’s words as a means of slaughter. I don’t believe that was Christ’s message. Many intellectual legends have went at it to disprove it & in the end gave their heart to Christ. I’m sure, that you, Alex are a diverse gentleman, but those who read this & want to spew hate keep it to a respectful level. Thanks! 🙂

I recommend you to read The Holy Quran. Unbelievable how much you are gonna relaxe and benefit . No book in the world can be like the Holy Quran. Just try.
I noticed that out of your 12 books none were about religion. No Bible, Koran, Talmud, or the writings of the great eastern religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. All the books you mentioned revolve around the self and how the self can succeed but not where the self is part of the universe. I'm wondering how many people achieve success with your books only to find emptiness. Just a thought.
Hey there. As a student of history and cultural anthropology, I’ve studied all the different major faiths around the world and have experienced many of them in person. I’m fascinated by faith, and am planning on making a video dedicated to speaking about belief. That being said, I don’t adhere to one specific religious belief system, nor am I here to push religion on anyone. There are more than enough people around who do that, it’s not what I’m about. I don’t have the answers on which religion is “right or wrong” nor do I want to pretend to. I believe there are beneficial elements to every different faith, but if I had to choose, the beliefs of Buddhism resonate deeply with me. That being said, I believe having love and respect for others, as well as a belief in something bigger than ourselves, is crucial to finding long term happiness and contentment. Thanks for tuning in, hope all is well.

@@AlexanderAyling I know you wouldn't push religion on anyone but I was just surprised that out of 12 books none were on spirituality.
I just read “Wisdom of Shamans” and “The Mastery of Self” by Don Jose Ruiz. Really interesting spiritual books 👌🏼

None of the book is gonna make more impact than travelling the world 😂.
Until we can do that again, these books are super useful :)
@@AlexanderAyling 👍 it's like exploring with eye closed. 😂
