I think that for people who don't own a bass, this is a great option. I did my first two albums with keyboard bass and it definitely did not sound as good as this. But then I did buy a real bass and I got hooked on the real thing. Still, this is a great option.
Hi there, thanks for watching. I totally agree, also if you have a bass (or guitar) the audio conversion part is very cool and you can fine tune the tone and performance of your parts in EZ Bass. I will be doing a video on this in a day or two. Stay safe!
Hey! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoy the video. I don't have the Logic file unfortunately, I tend to delete them after I do the demo, is there anything I can help you with and I would be able to do a new file. all the best, Neil
I am very happy with my EZbass. I think the interface is a little more complicated compared with EZdrummer2 and EZkeys. It has a lot of options. Thanks for this video.I see you have some MIDI packs for EZdrummer2. Are they good? I also noticed you throw in different MIDI files (from keys and drums???) at the same time. Am I correct?
Hi Sjaak, thanks for watching. Yes the interface has many more options than the other EZ products, maybe they will be coming to those also in the future. I do like some of the drummer packs, they are a good jumping point to start a track with. It depends on what style you like to do really as they do vary a little in how good they are. Yes you can use both in EzBass, it is a great feature. Not at the same time, but you can use in the same instance. Hope that helps, Neil
That is correct. or use any VST you like. YOu can add lines from the libary of midi parts, or create your own audio lines and EX Bass converts them to midi.
You have to have some explanation. I am a lecturer, I always explain what I am doing. Otherwise, you then get the opposite comment, why didn't you explain what you were doing. In RUclips world, you can not win.
Who makes the drums first writing a song ??? Maybe Zappa did...but I , and most of us I guess, begin with a song written on guitar and piano wich we wish to put instruments to. Can someone pla show the process, and not with a 4/4 standard blues or a repetetive metal part...
Many artists start with a groove out rhythm part. Usually happens at writing sessions with a band. Peter Gabriel famously starts with a groove idea. There are many ways to write songs. It depends on style and personal preference. I also like to start with a drum track to jam ideas to This video is showing how easy it is to construct a song using EZ bass. @@gracepierce1024 So many bands (including DT) as you stay will start with drums, even if it is just to get a groove going, electronic musicians will at the very least have some click or hit hat pattern. Good to see a fellow DT fan! What’s your favourite album?
Hello, I really need some help. When I create a groove on Ezbass and drag it to the track, it's not what I created, but another groove. I've tried everything. I can restart the PC and start from scratch, but when I open the DAW and create a groove, ballast for the track, it is something that does not correspond to what I did. ------------Thanks.

I agree with Joseph. Half way through the 14 minute video you're still setting up defeating the purpose of people wanting to watch about the ezbass. It's understandable you want the video to be above the 10 minute mark but this isn't the best way to do it. But maybe putting a time stamp for skipping the setting up to the actual ezbass part would definitely be great. Either way it's a good informative video.

The audio to midi function may be useful for people who are playing their own cheap bass on their recordings and not getting a sufficiently good tone.
Great video! Thnx!
No worries, hope it was useful! All the best, Neil
