Thank you for coming to Tampa. I bought some parts off of you. I don’t know if you remember inside joke oh I know your dad.
Very cool, that purple S-10 was just in my backyard for the last few months as I attempted to get it mechanically sound enough to take to shows this year.
Turns out getting parts for that truck are getting difficult. I was trying to get things that should’ve been simple, such as the linkage rods for door lock and door handles to get the outer door handles working, and everything
appears to be made of unobtainium these days. at least I was able to get the blower motor kind of functioning, though there’s still some wiring issues in the dash somewhere, potentially at the blower motor switch, and get his gauges working. There’s still a long way to go, however.
So, as every car guys story goes, the project never ends.
Trevor, the current owner, is a super cool dude that was really tickled to meet you.
