Id take the jrls as well. For the runtime, the lever opening more is a plus, and the two speeds. Slower speed helps with detailing or grabbing straight long hair as well as preserving battery life. Jrl has just more features and still cuts just as good as the ergos so i give an edge to the jrls for that
I completely understand...with jrls new blade...it even made it better. however there are some issues with the jrl has that ergos have never given me. once it fixed..then ill come back and do this again
Have you ever tried the SC "Slim" Moving Black Diamond Deep Tooth Clipper Blade &the SC Faper Blade combo with the Ergos? I heard it takes them to another level..
What the Ergo has too much of, rusticity, the JRL has too little of. JRL is too modern visually and I don't like that. Both cut well, it's a matter of taste which one you choose.
Ergo gonna be my next purchase my jrl clipper and trimmer keep breaking down on me so far they are taking care of it but not impressed with the quality of the build sucks cause when they work I love them but man it's frustrating

@@ezekielortiz6599 the plastic piece that holds the tension spring in place keeps cracking and on the trimmer same thing plastic on the inside where the 2 screws tighten up cracked twice now and I'm not even missing with the screws just from use as soon as I turn it on I can hear the blade is louder with the clipper I'm waiting on the 4th headpiece to get shipped to me they said the have a new version with metal piece
@@cruzfadez the first time I used the ergo the blade shifted on me and they said it’s been happening a lot so they sent me a new bracket but changing the lids for some reason won’t work on my ergo the lids won’t sit flushed and the screws keep stripping
@@ezekielortiz6599 sent them back the first time then it happened again it's only a few screws I told them just send me the piece just to save time on my end not having to ship to them and then back to me I understand it's a new model and sometimes things happen so as long as they stand by their products hope they can figure it out like the fact that new companies are offering products we actually want wish andis and wahl can step up their product design cause their quality is great my cordless seniors still going strong after 2 years

Hopefully is a quality stand. My favorite has always been the wahl senior now the cordless wahl senior but that jrl is about as equal to me as the senior. The gamma is no good for bulk. So i sold it. I like all around good for bulk and fading
They are the same clipper. I had the 50 cal and the battery life is forever. My experience when using them that they are weak and snag hair. Go with the wahl cordless seniors.
@@olahdanihair Rum Barber said the Motor is stronger but you're right it comes with a Taper blade. I just got mine in yesterday and cut and wasn't too impressed compared to my Gold FX clipper.

Ergos easy they got the dock . I have the tomb 45 mat as well . I only buy clippers with charging stands if they cant b used onnmy power mat
