Seeing this innocent Kyouma makes me realize how much of a badass he is at the end of Zero.
When i hear this laugh i start laughing because i laugh just like that then we laugh together and have a good time although he is just a anime character but he is a real mad scientist and his laugh is giving me the strength to go on with studying!

Yeah, but his laugh is different. His whole Kyouma persona is more different. As crazy as the character needs to be, he is more grounded in reality now. His laugh is more cinical, like a middle finger to fate after it tried everything to put him down

I swore that this anime was quite popular, but I was surprised that none of my friends who watch anime know this gem, they even complained to me for talking about things they didn't know x'd
I think Light just do too much time leap and ending up not jumping to other timeline but to other universe lol
Light was striving to become a detective, not a scientist.
He did end up becoming a detective, even though he had the Death Note.
Just so you guys know, Okabe's voice actor Mamoru Miyano also voiced Light from Death Note, which makes the "Keikaku Doori" at 2:26 even better.
Even better there's a scene where Kurisu accidentally has a slip of the tongue and says internet slang with the phrase "This guy's useless, I better do something quick" (or "Dame da koitsu. Hayaku nantoka shinai to" in JP), which is also a line from Death Note. It's amazing that there's not just 1, but 2 and maybe even more connections between Steins;Gate and Death Note
You're not the only one. After I saw Okarin laughing and in action like that I was hooked. This actually became my favorite anime xD

In case no one gets the significance of "keikaku doori," Mamoru Miyano (the seiyuu for Okabe) also voiced Light Yagami. Keikaku doori means "Just as planned."
