- Let's take a look at the Starborn Guardian and do a tour of the interiors of the ship!

Actually you can get that ship before completing the story. It lands on Leviathon IV in the same spot every time. Just save game as soon as you land and figure out where it’s going to land, then just reload the game and wait for it to land and be at the door ready to spam the A button as soon as the crew walks out. You can then steal it. Good luck.
That "door" you looked at is not the door, the door is to the left of the circle (which is the engine) you can see the door by the mission marker above it

The Pros:
-Amazing piloting view
-The best A class ship stats (if you manage to get your hands on the Guardian VI)
-Some fun commentary from npcs seeing the ship
The Cons:
-Empty interrior
-Takes a long time to get a usefull version
-Not modifyable (the big one)
-Missles as main and unchangeable weapon (if you don't know how those work ship combat becomes super frustrating)
Pretty sure this ship only exists as a better option for quickly smashing through new game pluses
The door to exit is in the left of what you are calling the entrance 😊
Looks excessively impractical and underpowered compared to what the ship builder can do. Literally has no internal facilities to accomodate any crew worth mentioning and what little internal space it has is completely unused.

Nah it’s purpose its to get you from point A to all artifacts fast, it has an extremely long range drive and its fast so yea

Be nice if we could actually have workbenchs in the ship so we could build and craft stuff and maybe have a armor display
It says crew of 5, the sleeping quarters, I've seen but yet to locate, chairs for the crew somewhere I guess.

No doubt. As soon as I got the star eagle, I ditched that sorry ass Starborn bullshit. Refitted my Star Eagle and every time I ran into a starborn ship, I was cooking their asses.
Yeah, I agree for an endgame ship. It’s incredibly underwhelming.

So, it has worse stats than the Star Eagle you can get for free fairly early in the game (except speed/Weapon dmg) and has zero services for your Crew, cool. But hey, it's got a huge Cockpit window to look out from.
30 LY range is cool.
@@mjones1665 It is but the farthest game jump is just over 27 LY so any Ship with 28LY will go anywhere.
There is only one thing I like about the Starborn ship. It's First Person view with the huge window.
Apart from that, if this is your only ship, you're very limited in what it can do. And unless you Google the weapons, then you've left clueless into what damage they're inflicting on the enemy. Hull? Shields? What each weapon actually is?
No workstations or bed? That really sucks. Other than the speed it seems like a pretty basic ship.
It would be really cool if they were to have ships shaped as a disc or TicTac shape.
Honestly if you could build in this ship like you could in your house it'd be fine for me, hopefully when modding comes to xbox someone can make that possible

mine is 1500 fuel, 649 hull, 1140 cargo, sol 25 and tor 73
Minimalist art deco style. Not even a bed. Your crew have to stand around like a Flash Gordon movie set. It took me ages to find the door too lol! It has a good jump range though.
It has no thrusters, because it has a reaction less drive
No bed on it, is what pisses me off.
That circular portal is the docking clamp, the landing bay door is to the left of it.
Yeah it was a severe oversight to not include furniture building in it natively.
You can spawn a decorator panel using console commands (google for ID) and then place outpost furniture how you like.
If youre facing front. Mine has a museum of display cases behind the command seat.
to the right (with captains locker) is a living quarters including bed, office, and suit racks, bathroom and galley.
To the left (by cargo) is workshop with benches and crafters
Back wall of cockpit is the armory wall.
Entrance corridor is an art indtallation with bits on the side shelves.

Bear in mind, all of it will disappear if you ng+ again. But it's nice for a playthrough to collect memorabilia.
I RP and add a piece to the museum for every universe I visit.
And for the decorator panel, be careful when spawning it, it appears at your feet and isnt placeable. So find a corner to hide it in.
I don’t understand why you couldn’t customize these ships. There no point in getting these at all. I would rather a ship with beds and chairs and rooms over this

I stole a Guardian II, and went back to the previous save once I realized what a junk heap it was.

Its a nice looking ship but my custom built ship that had nearly 7000 lbs cargo space and more fire power than a battleship could out fly, out gun, out maneuver the starborn 1 - 6 10 times over. Same for the armor. Really there is absolutely no reason to do NG+.

Like most freebies games might give you, it's sellable but not worth bothering to. 8k credits, not even enough to change out a few basic parts on a Class-A.
An apple is 100 credits. In the future 5 apples = to 1 spaceship Hab block 😅
To me the Guardian ship is a disappointment. Great view from cockpit but barren of any interior features, weapons, shields, cargo etc. are all blah.
Just so you guys know on console you CANNOT STEAL THIS SHIP until you complete the game. THEY ARE INACCESSIBLE. i play on Xbox and i can't get in any of them at all

Pointless wasted allocation of a ship... So now i can only collect 9 ships? No beds, no hab, no workshop, no everything, shit stats...
Fun, but basicly pretty useless. You can build a far better ship.
The ship is boring.
Probably the worst ship in the game and you can't deconstruct it and change its appearance.
