I just wandered up to one that landed next to me and took it…. No hacks, no tricks, no effort… and I’m still on my first play through as well…

Got at first try and using only one AMP and 3 or 4 Aurora. :)
Actually there is an easier way. I found a planet that it's already parked by a building. It is there every time I go there. I ended up getting a second one to see if it was different. Each time I go there, it is a level IV. But once you get the second one, you can't sell it or get rid of it. I just started a new game with a new start, no MG Plus. I'm trying to see if I can get one before I get to level 10 to 12.

Worked Exactly Like You Said Went To Pyraas II & Boom…Landed Less Than A 100 Yards Away From Me & The Auora & Frostwolf Helped Me, But Also If You Have The Phased Time Ability It Can Help. When You First Hear It Pop Into The Atmosphere. Phased Time Then Amp Or Frostwolf Then Run For About 20 Yards.. Pop Auora Like Crazy 😂. Guardian IV In My Posession Now On My 1st Playthrough I May Delete My Save Of My NG+ 1..May Wait To Do It At A Higher Level. I Split My Saves OG & NG+. I’ll Never Delete My 1st Universe

Frostwolf is better, Amp gives you +35% movement spd, Frostwolf gets you +50%. Aurora didn't help me at all get to the ship faster, just got a quick buzz 😆

I believe the Aurora is to slow time so the ship takes longer to reach the ground giving your character more time to reach it before the NPCs exit it.
Yes but Frostwolf, will not give you the 2X jump bonus that you will have with Amp, that i found very useful.
I used the video method and used only one AMP and 3 or 4 Aurora.
Got it at first try.
At last, is not a great ship, but i took off with the ship with two starborn on the wing...and I saw them fall on the surface...no price for this. :P
@ultra_sax Jump is good but ill take the +15% more speed because it is needed to get there quicker, just put a better boost pack on your back. Then, instead of taking off with the ship, make it your home ship, get out and jack up those Starborn and get the exp points for them too.
@EdumacatedChimp Yes I understand what the Aurora is for. It just didn't work for me. So instead I used frostwolf sped over there jumped on the wing before they even came out the door. Then you run in and make it your home ship, come back out dust off the Starborn and get the exp for them as well.
What planet has them a high chance to spawn?

I did get the starborn BUT you can’t sell it and it takes a permanent ship slot. Since I only have 9 ship slots and my own built ship is stronger than the starborn taken, I reloaded before I stole it. It’s not worth it to me.
Literally the first planet I landed on after completing All That Money can Buy, landed like 200m away from me, no Starborn in or around it whatsoever. I almost want to steal it, but I've heard they're not actually that good, and I'm in my shiny new Kepler X (my own take on the Kepler S that Walter gifted me), which is probably far better. In fact, I smoked three low-level Guardians in orbit of this planet.
I surveyed the entire planet I've been to every location on both sides and no one says I have I heard anything come into the atmosphere I think it's patched
This is will be nice for my future characters

Can you register it? or sell it?
I'm in the Pyraas system, landed on a couple different planets/moons, and so far I haven't gotten ANYTHING to spawn in the sky. Level 19, no NG+, still early playthrough.
you have to have multiple artifacts on you before they start following you.

No its not matter how many You have, I got 3, and I'm in the middle of main story - 36 lev. Had meeting 2 times Hunter, but still got same expirience like Merv, Ive posted here same issue. More than 20 landings on that Pryaas planet and not even singe ship (sarborn or other) landed on my map... @@Rockr69747
Do you have to progress to a certain point for this? I've never seen a starborn ship at all, let alone land near me.
Don’t bother the ship is awful you’ll be able to build a much better ship yourself.

@@ironlordsaintsgaming4133 But if you do it this way, you just have to get to a point in the story where the Starborn are mentioned, then they start showing up when you land on planets
Ive traveled to that planet Pyraas II and no ship landed in about 20 differed locations...
It’s dependant where you are in the story I believe. It’s not too far in when these guys start showing up
Ive got 2 meetings with them so far, im about half way in main quest and after 2 fractions questline (im level 36) so... But is not even about starborn ship, In that planet no ship landed for me, more than 20 locations and every time not a single ship appers after my landing... And is normal during the game that thier land in differend planets. @@GamingExploits

Nope, once you get to a specific point in the game the starborn is all everyone talks about. And then the ships will start following you to planets
Not worth the effort. After becoming Starborn I found out the ship is actually pretty weak and it has no place to sleep or sit down and you can't upgrade it without running console commands. I ended up getting the Razorleaf and upgrading it and doing some UCF missions to get some decent ship weapons.
Has this been patched? I've been struggling to do it.
I just did it 10 minutes ago, you just have to be lucky enough that they land close to you. It’s entirely possible to do without any boosts
