Book Percy - virtually every Riordan protagonist actually - is the sassiest fucker ever. Movie Percy seems like he got turned to stone by Medusa, judging by how much life he has
I saw an interview with the Lightning Thief movie, and one of the actors made the biggest mistake of his life. He said that the cool thing about the movie is that it follows the book really well. IT FOLLOWS THE BOOK?!?! When I heard that I was on the floor laughing on how stupid he sounded. I bet the entire cast never read the books because they didn't even laugh at that comment. I bet the director forced him to say it.
The scene with Circe where she turns Percy into a guinea pig wasn't in the movie ( as well as other things of course ), but they named the amusement park Circeland ( pretty much saying saying F you guys ).
I had really low expectations for this movie, and it still disappointed me. 4/10 1 point for a little pity- for the sake of PJO. 1 point for Nathan Fillion because Nathan Fillion. 1 point for that Firefly reference they managed to put in. 1 point for "Don't walk on my roof!" (LukexRoof forever, new OTP).
Missy Fangirl actually The Titans Curse might happen it has not been announced publicly that it wont happen honestly they are good movies if you don't compare to the books
Hunter Mull but the whole point was to make it based off the movie if u just watched the movie and never read the book the movie would've been okay but to me its horrible but that's my opinion I cant tell u wat to think

Book Annabeth to Percy: "You drool while you sleep" Movie Annabeth to Percy: "I have strong feelings about you but I can't feel if they are good or bed yet" WHAT THE HECK MOVIE DIRECTORS?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's sad is that the man who directed the first movie directed the first 2 Harry Potter movies and they are the most accurate movies of the bunch. The Percy Jackson movies are terrible adaptations and the second one was an abomination
The movie isn't only unfaithful to the book , it's also mythologically incorrect. Kronos did not look like a fucking demon with horns. He was a Titan , not a monster.
+finnbearmom The reason why the mythology isn't as accurate is because Rick had to make it child-friendly. He had to change a lot of things, because let's face it, Greek mythology is pretty messed up.
He did make it clear the gods were into incest though. He didnt use the word but he made sure he kept all the godly siblings in their right roles like Hera was still a daughter of Kronos as was Demeter who both got with Zeus
It was incorrect right from the start. Grover was NOT supposed to be there in the beginning. So later on, when they are in the Cyclopes cave and Grover is magically in a wedding dress, there is no reason behind it. They just all accept it. And Kronos wasn't supposed to be that powerful yet, MIND YOU THE PROPHECY WHICH DRIVES THE WHOLE SERIES
WeiYinChan Because it is a Daedalus Laptop, it is made by a demigod and therefore would not attract monsters. However, normal mortal technology is not allowed
I remember watching The Lightning Thief and it was kinda bad and there were a lot of scenes that were changed or not used from the book but it was still okay then Sea Of Monsters was like the worst book adaptation movie ever. When i was watching it in the cinema there were a bunch of people who didn't read the books and were just watching it and thinking that it was cool but i sat there looking like i could kill myself. Like the Kronos scene was supposed to be a huge thing but in the movie, it lasted only like 10 minutes. When Tyson fell in the water, Percy goes all sad and stuff like dude, you're the son of Poseidon, can't you do those wave thingy and bring him back up?!
I don't remember Kronos being in the second book at all. Sure, they mentioned him from time to time, but he was never in the book!!! Rick Riordan was building him up for the last book and it worked.
Yeah. He wasn't in it but the fact that they actually put him in the movie. I mean, fine if they wanna put him in but it's supposed to be a big thing not a 10 minute thing.
I agree , they make him like a second level boss for a video game instead of the main boss, in which he is. What's next Percy would doubt his worth again because of Thalia and the Hunters?
Brenna Brodbeck exactly! They completely butchered the entire series. If it was good, i'm sure it would turn out like Harry Potter. The entire series is absolutely amazing. The characters are funny, sarcastic and not childish at all!! But in the movie, they seemed like 10 year olds going on an adventure

What about Percy being turned into a guinea pig? And who else was annoyed that they said Silena Beauregard was an enemy in the second installment? In the books you don't find out until The Last Olympian and it's kinda a big part of the plot because she is a spy at Camp Half Blood and everyone thinks she is on their side
The best part is that cartoon logic. Percy's about to get shot with a crossbow, and everyone see's the crossbow. He could've moved and done something cool, but he just sits there like a waiting duck.
The prophecy is all wrong and the Kronos just pops out of nowhere and isn't supposed to come until the fourth book. Annabeth isn't supposed to die! Also one big thing in the first movie is they didn't get the pearls from the three locations they got them at the arch all at once. Seriously I think the creators should just give it a different name and say it's another movie. It would become a more profitable film that way.
I watched half an hour of it (I read all the books) and I was like, "Isn't Grover not supposed to be there?" and "When the heck did this happen.." It sucks. I agree, Percy and Annabeth have no personality. Where's Persassy?
Yeah the singing "it's a small world after all" really bothered me. Percy grew up poor and underprivileged in New York. His mom scrimped and saved to be able to take him to a cabin a couple hours away and we're supposed to believe that he knows the song from a ride at Disney Land?!?!

someone once told me to name one thing I hated about the pjo movies. I proceeded to storm off, screaming, "You know nothing! You will never understand!"
Before seeing you and other booktubers screaming how much you guys loved and still love these books I told myself never to read them because the movies were so boring half way through the second one I just.... stopped. So thank you booktube community for saving me.
I'm so sorry that the Booktuber have rune the chance for you to read these books. I call it being negative. I try not to be like that about a book turning into movies. Better not to say negative things about it. rather keep it to myself. Stay positive. My mom always said to me! Watch movie first! Afterwards! Read the books later. REASON!!! She said to me... You might not like what they've change from the book you might have read that they turned into a film. Good advise I've learned.
jjsalt1982 I ment thank you booktube community for letting me know the books are worth giving a shot, I wasn't blaming them. But still very good advice i'll definitely remember that. I'm usually wary about watching an adaptation first because than I know everything that's going to happen and it takes me longer to finish (although some books are completely different so win-win :D)
SoHardToBeMe I understand that too. Glad you're not blaming them for it too. That's good. Glad to hear it. But! Still do whatever you want next time. Read a book you want without listening to what people say on You Tube. Reason! You might not know what it might have been written inside a book. So! Don't listen to people are negative. Just the positive people. Read a book...You might enjoy it. But you're welcome though.
SoHardToBeMe So true, I will love Booktubers. Reason why I probably would. It's because I would love to know what new books are good to read out there. Ones I might want to read in the future. Some! I might not like... Book Talk! That's the most important. Letting them know on what Books we have already read. It's Cool!! AND!!! Recommend a book to them. Ones I think is good to read. Those are books I've already read. I recommend those to the Booktubers.
I watched The Lightning Thief before reading the book, and I loved it. Then I read the book.......... I LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THE MOVIE! I don't even want to see this movie, and I highly doubt they'll make the other movies. I was so happy when they included the taxi scene in the movie because that was the funniest scene in the book, but then I watched that clip...... NOT EVEN FUNNY!!! What the heck?!
I didn't even bother watching the second film. I just looked it up on Wikipedia to save me the time and trouble. Alas I still raged about for a while. Oh wait I still am...
Honestly this movie is just bad. A very bad movie with a very bad script. But at the same time I can watch it over and over and still laugh everytime and love it.
Tbh the movie pissed me of.f They completely skipped the beginning of the book and started at camp. In the book he met Tyson at school bc of the schools "social experiment" and then they set the school on fire with the metal dodge balls. Then they take the taxi to camp halfblood and he gets the coordinates. When they arive thats when the battle with the bulls should have taken place. Not durring lunch. And the thing that angers me the most is kronos rising. Like no. He does not rise until the 4th book. We only find out that Luke has the golden coffin and that he wanted the fleece to heal kronos. No where in it did kronos rise. And the scene when he met heremes...lukes father was supposed to take place on the beach at night and then the harpies almost catch him. I just wish i could have directed this movie. I like my mental movie 1000x more than the produced one. This is one of the worst movies I've seen and im sad about that. It should have been like the book and not some random throw together that doesnt make since with the book
I feel like I was the only person who had high expectations for the movie. The only thing I actually enjoyed when I saw the Sea of Monsters was that I was with my friends. I wore a CHB shirt with jean and a pen in my back pocket. After the movie, I sighed and said to myself, "I am not seeing another PJO movie every again." THANK THE GODS THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE!
I think that the books are great and if you do read them all that you shouldnt watch the movies because it ruins the whole thing that you spent like a month or two working up. But, I also think that the movies would be a good stand alone, like if they took the Percy Jackson brand name off the movies (and I dont think they are similar enough to the books to get them sued for copyright or anything) that the movies themselves are pretty good... as long as you dont connect them to the books...
Oh, one other thing, I did originally want them to make all of the books into movies, in hopes that they could at least get it back or closer to the books. In the sea of monsters they got a little bit closer to the books, but if thats the rate their moving at, then it would be a waste of time and money to make more movies. They just fucked it up too much
I just watched Sea of Monsters on Megashare. I didn't realize I was doing it, but I was fast forwarding through scenes that I got bored with or just went on too long. I probably skipped forward 3 or 4 times, the bull scene, the kronos scene, and the scene before they found thalia, I'm pretty sure there were more. But after I realized I was doing it, I just started laughing. This movie was pretty ridiculous. I can say I loved Tyson though.
The fact that they also got the whole Kronos backstory completely wrong just made me sit there like 'WTF were you thinking when you wrote this? Were you high?'
I'm gonna say that the films so far a good if you haven't read the books. You know, a family fun film... buuuut... If you've read the books it's shit on a whole other level! The characters look NOTHING like their descriptions (and trying to fix things now ain't gonna make a difference. E.g. blonde annabeth), the acting a lot of the time is actually quite terrible and every thing just makes me cringe or laugh... in a bad, bad way. Really disapointed, but I'm pleased to say I haven't given up on Riordan's books.. maybe just his film adaptations. He needed to find a film producer company that would take his writing seriously. :(
Rick Riordan unfortunately isn't allowed to interfere at all with the movies. It's completely up to Hollywood. It would have been sooo much better if Rick Riordan was allowed to change things and make sure they were try to the book. This book series had SO much potential but these stupid movie makers managed to ruin one of the best things in the world. I actually haven't watched either of the movies and I'm not planning to because of the negative feedback and this comment was also based on all the negative feedback. I really like watching movies right after reading the books because I have a really bad memory so I like to be reminded of the story without using up time rereading the books. I guess I won't be doing that this time around 😑
Sorry about that comment but looking back on it, the movie really was bad. At the time I didn't read the book, and when I read the book I was like, oh my gosh the movie is horrible. But for me the funniest part in the movie was when Grover and some other campers got a giant log, charged the bull and Grover screamed,"Hey rust bucket!",and hit the bull in the face, and then everyone ran.
I really loved it. I knew it was gonna be super different from the books and that it was gonna be kinda bad so I went with low expectations but I really enjoyed it
didn't even get around to watching it and kinda glad I didn't ruins the vision of the book. and aside from that they aren't even going to the third book which is kinda good, maybe they can start over from the beginning and do a good job
I watched the movie yesterday and I actually really enjoyed it! I loved the small Percabeth scene at the end and Tyson and Logan were amazing! Annabeth's blond hair was gorgeous and Grover was hilarious. I loved Clarisse and the only thing that was negative about the movie was Kronos.
SPOILER - Riptide was Hercules sword given to him by Zoe Knightshade (in the book) Selina is a spy in The Last Olympian when her boyfriend dies, but in the end she regrets it and dies trying to kill a monster.
Aww, someone understands me! The movies were freaking crap! I mean is it that hard to write a script AFTER reading the book! Is it?!?! I mean Annabeth was all; meh. She wasn't fun and warrior-like. AND WHERE IS HER INVISIBILITY CAP?!?! Ugh! And Percy. Good gods. SASSY! SASSY PERCY! NOT BORING PERCY! None of them really had personality. And The Mist. What the fudge?! Mist isn't freaking spray-able! Its magic! Gods. And the bull scene. There are about 200 half-gods here with powers and abilities. And they all run away? WHAT! I mean doesn't anyone think of using their powers or fighting? Does everyone just run and stare when they're in danger (normal people might but freaking demigods! Nup.) The one thing I liked about SOM was Luke. I always loved Luke (I don't care if you think he was a traitor. He was the hero in the end.) And they actually added some sass! The 'What are you doing on my roof?' Made me crack up! I was so happy when I actually laughed. I mean this is Rick Riordan we're talking about. his characters are bloody sassy! So yeah, I enjoyed it (a teensy bit) but I was having all these WTF moments and wanting to punch the director and writers. NEXT TIME ACTUALLY READ THE BLOODY BOOKS! AND MAKE IT APPEAL TO ALLL THE FANS!
Hibo K I'm trying to make a decision. I have a younger sister who has just started the series and is almost done with the first book. I want here to see the movie just for her reaction . Should I?
if the sword takes the form of a pen, then how were other people supposed to know it was a sword? to be honest i think you feel so in love with every detail in the book, that you expectations were way to high for the movie, you even said yourself not everything in the book is the same and you were to busy criticizing the film that you totally forgot how much effort was actually put into the film.i think you focused on the main parts of what you wanted to see and thought " if even one of these isnt in the film, im going to hate it straight away" and instead of thinking about the positives in the film, straight away everything was negative and that was a bad influence to the rest of your behavior in the rest of your video. sorry but my opinion
The thing that got me was that they obviously knew they missed so much shit in the first movie that they tried to make up for it, but over-compensated. Like, Percy didn't know about the final prophecy until the LAST book. And don't even get me started on the Oracle. She tells the future not the damn past -_-
I think that scene in the beginning was to show Percy's fatal flaw, because in the book they said his fatal flaw was loyalty. Like how he would help anyone over himself, so when he helped that guy was his fatal flaw.
About the mythology... There are many variations of the Kronos eating his children myth. In some myths Poseidon also escaped being eaten alive like Zeus did. Myths very greater in Greek Mythology depending on who tells the myth.
I'm upset they didn't add the scene where annebeth tried to go to the singing things (don't remember what they're called) that was some intense character building
I agree Percy was so sassy and they just made him boring... It really makes me mad because if they were true to the book they could have been as big as the Hunger Games and actually impress the fan base. Urg I hope they remake those movies someday!
part when pj realizes tyson is still alive and they have this hugging moment and they 4get about kronos coming to life behind them. When they should have taken off the fleece from the box
So I just watched this for the first time yesterday and it actually wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting. It was bad but like the enjoyable kind of bad.
Luke "What are you doing"
Percy "..."
Luke "Don't walk on my roof"
i was dying of laughter at this scene
Same!
Only good part in the dam thing
finnbearmom ikr
that was my favorite part
I was left not breathing XD XD XD
Book Percy - virtually every Riordan protagonist actually - is the sassiest fucker ever.

+puppylove2012 Yeah I watched this interview and someone asked the cast what their take on blue food was and they were all really confused.
I KNOW!!!!! I saw that too, that actors might even be dumber then the director and the people who wrote the script!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw another interview and someone asked if they liked blue food, and everyone said "that doesn’t have anything to do the movie".
* cries *
Can I get a link I need to see this
Oh!!!! In the movie they didn't include Annabeth's invisibility Yankees cap!!!!!! Did anyone notice that?????
i did. pissed me off
They just totally screwed themselves over.
They didn't include her dagger either.
Emma Birchall they didnt include the sea of monsters book either LOL
Giana Mitchell Or the lighting thief book. xD
How could Rick Riordan let them do this D:
My favourite quote, "What are you doing? Don't walk on my roof."
That was pretty much the only good quote in the film. Besides Tyson' s whole "smells like bull" thing. That was funny.
CbbTyrone hahahahahha same
Same
The scene with Circe where she turns Percy into a guinea pig wasn't in the movie ( as well as other things of course ), but they named the amusement park Circeland ( pretty much saying saying F you guys ).
YASS SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS THE THING I MOST HATED ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had really low expectations for this movie, and it still disappointed me. 4/10
1 point for a little pity- for the sake of PJO.
1 point for Nathan Fillion because Nathan Fillion.
1 point for that Firefly reference they managed to put in.
1 point for "Don't walk on my roof!" (LukexRoof forever, new OTP).
I agree
what the fuck happened to Percy turning into a rodent and Annabeth saving his ass
then pepole won't recognize Reyna and Hylla
IKR!!!! I'm so glad that there are no more movies, b/c I don't want to keep suffering. :(
Missy Fangirl actually The Titans Curse might happen it has not been announced publicly that it wont happen
honestly they are good movies if you don't compare to the books
I WAS SO PISSED THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THAT! I loved that scene in the books so much.
Hunter Mull but the whole point was to make it based off the movie if u just watched the movie and never read the book the movie would've been okay but to me its horrible but that's my opinion I cant tell u wat to think
Watching this film made Dobby lose all his faith in humanity.
Same Dobby.....same.....
lol good one
Dobby....you're alive!!!?!
You shut up Horrible mud blood! 🐍🐍
+JewelOfThePhoenix *gasp*
THEY SHOULD MAKE THE BOOKS INTO A TV SHOW
like they're doing with the TMI series
Yeah ! But seriously with a younger cast this time !
I would preferred animated

Actually there is a movement in LatinAmerica for that, they've a really good Dream Cast just write on Twitter LATWantsPJORemake or #WeWantPJOOnNetflix
With a better writer
Book Annabeth to Percy: "You drool while you sleep"
Movie Annabeth to Percy: "I have strong feelings about you but I can't feel if they are good or bed yet"
WHAT THE HECK MOVIE DIRECTORS?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's sad is that the man who directed the first movie directed the first 2 Harry Potter movies and they are the most accurate movies of the bunch. The Percy Jackson movies are terrible adaptations and the second one was an abomination
Good or bed??? 😂😂😂
+Theonetrue pig I know right it made me so angry!
That line is SO CHEESY UGH VOMIT
Why was there Fall Out Boy playing in the background? This movie doesn't deserve Fall Out Boy.
True
IKR
The movie isn't only unfaithful to the book , it's also mythologically incorrect. Kronos did not look like a fucking demon with horns. He was a Titan , not a monster.
To be fair Percy Jackson isn't that accurate either but the movie still sucks
finnbearmom Yeah , Percy Jackson isn't the most accurate thing ever , but it's fairly close to mythology.
+finnbearmom

trippleblah yup
He did make it clear the gods were into incest though. He didnt use the word but he made sure he kept all the godly siblings in their right roles like Hera was still a daughter of Kronos as was Demeter who both got with Zeus
I was originally skeptical about Paul, since he hadn't read the books, but he is hilarious. He is also forgiven.
the only right thing the writers and directors did .......was choosing not to make a 3rd movie......
It was incorrect right from the start. Grover was NOT supposed to be there in the beginning. So later on, when they are in the Cyclopes cave and Grover is magically in a wedding dress, there is no reason behind it. They just all accept it. Dear Percy,
GET OFF OF MY ROOF!!!!!
-Luke Castellan >:)
Omg I hated the part where Annabeth used her tablet.I mean, demigods can't use electronic stuff right?!
Just the phone, she could use the laptop in the book
WeiYinChan Because it is a Daedalus Laptop, it is made by a demigod and therefore would not attract monsters. However, normal mortal technology is not allowed
Paul is hysterical! My God, I was like Christine, doing that gasping laughter.
What about the fact that THEY JUST LEAVE CRONOS in the box on the random island?
Unimagin8ive *cough* Kronos *cough* hahaha ;)
I bet they wanted sequels
+Gabriella Parache *cough* sometimes it's spelled Cronos or Cronus *cough*
Charlotte Rouge I see what u did there ;) Well in the book it was Kronos so...
Luke telling Percy to get off his roof was the highlight of the movie for me.... It was so funny
Agreed
I remember watching The Lightning Thief and it was kinda bad and there were a lot of scenes that were changed or not used from the book but it was still okay then Sea Of Monsters was like the worst book adaptation movie ever. So when Adam- sorry I mean Luke- stopped his classical music I was literally dying XD
ohh Adam… he is still in the cage
Chuck said "Adam and Eve" not "Leave Adam in Hell and Leave"
ADAM WINCHESTER???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Our fandom is everywhere :D
lol
I watched an interview recently.
The interviewer asked for their thoughts on blue food.
Logan said he had no idea what it meant. None of them knew about blue food.
NONE OF THEM.
I honestly am so depressed. First I finish Blood of Olympus at1:00 am, only to discover what true disappointment is. Then, I discover the cast don't know something REALLY important.
I have lost faith in Hollywood.
*sighss and looks longingly into distance*
Yes I saw that! Also the dude who played Tyson was just like these are EXACTLY like the books. Excuse me while I go hide in a hole and die.
Which interview?
What's making me laugh hysterically is Christine's silent, gasping laughter for half the whole video.
That Silena was the enemy was one of the worst thing about the whole movie
+This.Dam.halfblood I know it was so annoying!
This.Dam.halfblood tbh i hated how they made The Mist a bottle of perfume which made me freak out because The Mist is a huge part in the books
they should kill the movies
yeah.
You and your brother have amazing chemistry. You guys should do more videos together.
To the people who disliked this video...
Have you even read the books?
Probably not
EXACTLY
Percy didn't even get turned into a guinea pig 😫
No Circe...
agree. The movies suck
your brother kind of reminds me of a young percy lol
Meh
HE'S EVEN WEARING BLUE
The best part is that cartoon logic. Percy's about to get shot with a crossbow, and everyone see's the crossbow. He could've moved and done something cool, but he just sits there like a waiting duck.

But everyone knows that song. I know it and I live in Australia and have never been to Disney Land 😂
+trippleblah I don't know. I guess it's just me cuz I didn't know that song until I was in my twenties
It should have been a tv show...they could have done so much with this amazing story...
^^this comment aged so well
And the sprayable mist!? what was that all about?!

Where the fuck was Circe's island and where was Scylla? We only saw Charybdis.

Actually, Rick Riordan said he doesn't have any control over the movies... so....
I found it funny when mr.d was pouring whine then turned it to water then was like " The christians have a god that does the opposite, now that's a GOD! "

But you're welcome though.
jjsalt1982 you still gotta love booktubers XD ah man they're awesome
SoHardToBeMe So true, I will love Booktubers. Reason why I probably would. It's because I would love to know what new books are good to read out there. Ones I might want to read in the future. Some! I might not like...
Book Talk! That's the most important. Letting them know on what Books we have already read. It's Cool!! AND!!! Recommend a book to them. Ones I think is good to read.
Those are books I've already read. I recommend those to the Booktubers.
I swear this girl drinks gallons of happy juice a day
I've watched this video literally so many times because I relate so much
I love logan lerman but... The movie was awful
PLOT TWIST: LUKE CAN SWIM
I watched The Lightning Thief before reading the book, and I loved it. Then I read the book.......... I LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THE MOVIE! I don't even want to see this movie, and I highly doubt they'll make the other movies.
I was so happy when they included the taxi scene in the movie because that was the funniest scene in the book, but then I watched that clip...... NOT EVEN FUNNY!!! What the heck?!
the best part of this video was paul going "screw you" priceless
I love it when christine laughs!!! she whips her hair, rocks back and fourth, and flails her arms around. Christine is the best. lol
It should have been like the book and not some random throw together that doesnt make since with the book
when tyson fell i was like PERCY YOU SEE WATER CONTROL IT MAKE A WAVE SENT TYSON UP USE YOUR WATER HEALING POWERS and he was just like "no."
your laugh is so funny you wave your arms so much
"Don't walk on my roof" the BEST part of the whole movie
I feel like I was the only person who had high expectations for the movie. The only thing I actually enjoyed when I saw the Sea of Monsters was that I was with my friends. I wore a CHB shirt with jean and a pen in my back pocket. After the movie, I sighed and said to myself, "I am not seeing another PJO movie every again." THANK THE GODS THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE!
Ha ha. There is apparently still a chance for the third movie
Sian Winmill No.No.No I don't want Titans Curse movie
According to Wikipedia, Logan Lerman says it's a go
Brenna Brodbeck they confirmed that it is over. Wikipedia isn't the best source
oh thanks for letting me know
You two have so much fun together! love itttt =DD
my lest favorite scene: the movie
When Nathan Fillion said "It's cute how you finish each other's sentences." That was a referance to the crime show Castle.
We knew Tyson was immune to fire, but we didn't know to what extent by the boat exploding scene, so we thought he was dead.
i can't believe the director never read the books. YOU DON'T MAKE A MOVIE WITHOUT READING THE BOOK
Can Paul be in every review?
The way you guys described the scenes made them 1000% percent funnier 😂😂😂
Omg I was writing while listening to this and then you mention fall out boy and I fell out of my chair
ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!! ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!!! ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!!!
holy sh*t it's so terrible.
"You know, the Christians have a guy who can do this trick in reverse. Now, that's a god."
I really like your brother! He's hilarious! You should include him in more of your videos!
THE SIRENS WERE LEFT OUT I LOVED THAT PART!!!!
They just fucked it up too much
I heard they're not making another one!
THANK THE GODS
I just watched Sea of Monsters on Megashare. I didn't realize I was doing it, but I was fast forwarding through scenes that I got bored with or just went on too long. I probably skipped forward 3 or 4 times, the bull scene, the kronos scene, and the scene before they found thalia, I'm pretty sure there were more. But after I realized I was doing it, I just started laughing. This movie was pretty ridiculous. I can say I loved Tyson though.
more videos with PAUL!
Which movie was better lightning thief or sea of monsters?
The fact that they also got the whole Kronos backstory completely wrong just made me sit there like 'WTF were you thinking when you wrote this? Were you high?'
I just love this review even though I love this movie and I want to see a Titans curse...
I love the whole get off my roof scene :)
I am so glad I read the book before I saw the movie! The book was sooooooooooooooooooo good, where as the movie was...eh
I really loved it. I knew it was gonna be super different from the books and that it was gonna be kinda bad so I went with low expectations but I really enjoyed it
"PLOT TWIST: Luke can swim!!"
hahahaha
didn't even get around to watching it and kinda glad I didn't ruins the vision of the book. and aside from that they aren't even going to the third book which is kinda good, maybe they can start over from the beginning and do a good job
your brother needs a channel
LOVED THE FIREFLY REFERENCE! I started laughing really hard and my friends thought I was insane haha
would anyone here absolutely love a movie remake? because i would
The only thing that could come out of another Percy Jackson movie (if it ever happens) would be Christine and Paul making a review video such as this.
My least favorite scene was: the whole thing
I watched the movie yesterday and I actually really enjoyed it! I loved the small Percabeth scene at the end and Tyson and Logan were amazing! Annabeth's blond hair was gorgeous and Grover was hilarious. I loved Clarisse and the only thing that was negative about the movie was Kronos.
omg ur brother made me laugh so much hahaha
Joana Ramacciotti Yes, we should see him every time.
SPOILER -
Riptide was Hercules sword given to him by Zoe Knightshade (in the book)
Selina is a spy in The Last Olympian when her boyfriend dies, but in the end she regrets it and dies trying to kill a monster.
Yeah Sea of Monsters was awful
kaili DeMello I KNOW! THEY SHOULD'VE DONE THEIR RESEARCH!
Hibo K I'm trying to make a decision. I have a younger sister who has just started the series and is almost done with the first book. I want here to see the movie just for her reaction . Should I?
From now on, all movie reviews have to include Paul. He's frigging hilarious, and the faces he makes you pull just make it even better!
if the sword takes the form of a pen, then how were other people supposed to know it was a sword? to be honest i think you feel so in love with every detail in the book, that you expectations were way to high for the movie, you even said yourself not everything in the book is the same and you were to busy criticizing the film that you totally forgot how much effort was actually put into the film.i think you focused on the main parts of what you wanted to see and thought " if even one of these isnt in the film, im going to hate it straight away" and instead of thinking about the positives in the film, straight away everything was negative and that was a bad influence to the rest of your behavior in the rest of your video. sorry but my opinion
okay thats your opinion, but as a movie lover, i thought well if the book and film also
The thing that got me was that they obviously knew they missed so much shit in the first movie that they tried to make up for it, but over-compensated.
+HangeGaming the sirens
I agree Percy was so sassy and they just made him boring... It really makes me mad because if they were true to the book they could have been as big as the Hunger Games and actually impress the fan base. Urg I hope they remake those movies someday!
part when pj realizes tyson is still alive and they have this hugging moment and they 4get about kronos coming to life behind them. When they should have taken off the fleece from the box
So I just watched this for the first time yesterday and it actually wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting. It was bad but like the enjoyable kind of bad.
