    Beautiful music and great conducting. Mark McKinney is good but Barbara Hannigan is just amazing. I've never heard singing like it. She brings so much to the phrase: 'It wasn't me'. Wonderful, just wonderful.

    I'm glad to see someone comment on Tristan. I laughed out loud when I heard the quote and wasn't sure I could believe my ears. Not everyone would catch that.

      @@peterxv Tristan and Isolde is a well known German opera written around 1850 by Richard Wagner. The musical phrase right after they say "It's all over between us" is a well known musical phrase from the prelude to the opera which is the musical introductionn to the opera.

    What's sad is that it feels like the recording of the voices is duller than the recording of the instrumental accompaniment. I would have liked the voices to have been sounded brilliantly.
