I'm a die hard Dodgers fan and if you did this in LA it'd probably be worse. We got a solid die hard fan base here (we lead the league in attendance a lot of years) but there's A TON of flakey fans here too. That's just how LA is
Better Questions: 1) What is Bucky Dent's middle name? 2) Who was on the mound when Bill Buckner had the ball go through his legs? 3) Who waved the ball fair in the 1975 World Series? 4) Did the Red Sox win or lose the final game of the World Series in the year know as "The Impossible Dream"? If a fan knows these answers, he has suffered greatly. He is a true Red Sox fan.
Like someone who says "I liked something before it was cool" I liked the Red Sox before they were good. 1999 is the earliest i remember watching Red Sox games at 7 years old. My loyalty never left them like all my favorite teams i stick with them.
But I like the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. I just happened to start watching sports when all the teams started doing really good, I've been a fan since I started watching them, and yeah I'm spoiled, but once these teams fall I plan on being there for them cheering them on (also for substance I started watching sports in 2007, which was the 1st year I lived with my step-dad)
I'm a Yankees fan and I could get most of these questions right. Yet Yankee fans are the bandwagons. Can't even name how many championships they have and they don't even know Mookie Wilson
To be fair, it's kinda hard to distinguish who's a die hard fan or not. A lot of these people are just at that game because their local sports team is competing for a world title. Even if you don't follow the team obsessively, it's cool to watch them try for a championship.
@@DaileyShorts if you aren't from Boston, that's fine but since they are st the game, I imagine they don't live too far from Boston so u less people in Boston area have different accents every 10-50 miles, they should still have some resemblance to Boston accent.
As a Boston sports fan, thank you for doing this. So many fucking bandwagons. People just want an excuse to drink. Half of them never watched a single regular season game. It makes me so mad idk why.
These questions are pretty uneven. Not knowing who managed the Sox in 1901 and thinking Mookie Wilson is Mookie Betts dad are not the same levels of incorrect.
I mean I was born and raised in St. Louis and am a big cardinals fan but I don’t know everything about the cardinals. Idk who their first manager was. I do know they have 11 championships and many of their old legends and most of their recent history
I'm a die-hard sox fan and I find this doesn't prove the legitimacy of a bandwagoner or die-hard. Now find some regulars or ask ppl not wearing sox gear and you'll get much different answers.
As a Red Sox fan myself, this really bothers me. This was a waste of my time to watch. You don’t have to know the answer to all these questions to be a huge Sox fan. The Sox are a way of life in Boston. The only criteria for being a Sox fan is if you yelled “FFFFFUCKKK YEAHHH” after Sunday night’s game
This happens in every city, every sports team, get over it. MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA... even the minor leagues like AHL, MILB, CHL, CFL. Any team that is in a cup finals will have lots of bandwagon fans. My friends on facebook who don't even watch the NHL or know any of the players, suddenly during playoffs they get all upset & lash out at the team cause they lost... just because now their little bandwagon streak is over and they can't showoff to others that their team didn't win the cup... then you will never hear about them talking about the team again unless they make the cup finals again.
These make me upset. I like watching them interview all the actual fans out there, these vids make everybody attack each other’s fan bases and accuse everyone of being bandwagons.
This is not a good way to show if someone is a bandwagon fan. You can just watch the game and not know random facts and still have been watching it for along time
I’m a real redsox fan been a fan since 2004 since my favorite player is Trot Nixon a former redsox player because my mom went to new hanover high school with him and also a big fan of Jackie Bradley jr since he’s a cousin of my friend I went to school with

I saw 14 not all 18
Nicholas Barranco yup it was brutal
Yeah and I was so sad that the Dodgers won
I did.. I woke up at like 11:00 AM the next morning
Nicholas Barranco yes sir
It sucks bc if u r actually a redsox fan anyone who meets you that didn’t know u before thinks ur a bandwagon
Thomas Lonergan Ya it sucks
You know how people work they use the minority of fans or people and use that to represent the majority.
you guys aren't unique. try being born and raised in Los Angeles , and everyone who isn't from L.A automatically thinks you're bandwagon.
Sox Suck!!!
How do you not know MOOKIE WILSON?!
Hipster Eagle even if you didn’t know baseball, it should be common knowledge that ain’t his father since they don’t even have the same last name
This Dude Legit Looks Like A Fun Guy To Talk To
Hey, this new TPS guy Jason is hilarious. GREAT ADDITION
It’s between 1910 and 1915.

3:38 "Carol, stop grabbing the mic!!!"
Typical that a team that makes the championship game they gain a ton of bandwagons.
Exactly
Rub some vaseline for that rape the Sox gave to your Yankees 1😂🤣😅
Coming from Yankees. You definitely have more bandwagon
Jeffrey House you’re a Yankees fan you can’t talk
You probably should have changed your profile pic before commenting that the Yankees gain just as many
10 Dirty Machado Moments
Nate Burns
Can we please stop all of a sudden hating on him... I get he had first plays in the nlcs. Chill.
The NLCS is not the first time he's done stuff like that, he's always been a dirty player. But no one realized it because he was with the orioles.
Stop hating on Machado jeez
#I Am A Legit Red Sox Fan
How hard were you laughing at these fake fans
a lot
Derek F. You can tell what people are real fans from the fake ones man....

Dodgers fan right here. 😣😖😖
I'm a die hard Dodgers fan and if you did this in LA it'd probably be worse. We got a solid die hard fan base here (we lead the league in attendance a lot of years) but there's A TON of flakey fans here too. That's just how LA is
They lead the league in attendance BECAUSE of the bandwagon fans. Look before '13, ghost town compared to now
Blokbuster
No
I’m a die hard Dodgers fan too but I just wish they’d get a new manager Roberts sucks
Dodgers also have one of the highest pay rolls
Mets fans and Red Sox fans can agree with one thing: The Yankees suck
Yankees fans can agree with one thing: the Mets and Red Sox suck
EpicEric26 we can all agree on something the Yankees are overrated garbage
Steve Harvey I agree
EpicEric26 thats why the red sox won
@@davidtheoilersfan5348 You're probably right. But the Sox are equally overrated
Don’t think it’s called “bandwagon”, it’s called “casually supporting your home team”.
I will admit i’m a band wagon fan.. became a fan since JD was signed.. have not missed a game since though.. (Red Sox and Tigers fan)
"what is mookie betts number? 50
what is david price number? oh boy
what is chris sale number? uhh
what is your number?"
shit was smooth asf
Why should i have to feel guilty about living in mass and liking boston sports? Im always accused of being bandwagon.
Zeplinex45 l
Damn!!! The stupidity was REAL with some of those fans! The females were pretty bad (10 foot Green monster????)
Better than the 150 foot answer that the one lady said..
@@FuzzyDJF At least that answer fits the "Green Monster" title! 10 feet just doesn't make an ounce of sense, it would be a regular outfield wall.
The green monster is 37.2 feet tall and that one chick said 300 feet
I actually liked this video.
I noticed your profile picture #FearTheDeer
That dog is like the beast from sandlot
Somewhere in Boston a diehard Sox fan named Ben Wrightman is shaking his head at these fans.
1:34 wow a bud light that's impressive kid
I'm a Phillies fan and I know most of these questions
Been a Red Sox fan since 1980 ⚾️.. I scored 100% on this quiz 💪🏾
As a Red Sox fan this is hard to watch
Half of these questions were so unfair 😂
If you even r a fan of them
Better Questions:
1) What is Bucky Dent's middle name?
2) Who was on the mound when Bill Buckner had the ball go through his legs?
3) Who waved the ball fair in the 1975 World Series?
4) Did the Red Sox win or lose the final game of the World Series in the year know as "The Impossible Dream"?
If a fan knows these answers, he has suffered greatly. He is a true Red Sox fan.
Damn Jason is a FUNNY GUY
Can we all treat casual fans like humans for once 😂
Lifelong fan here, the Sox are going to go back to the Super Bowl again next year and they're going to have a perfect 300 for a hat trick!!! Pissah
Y'all are going back to the world series I'm laughing u honestly have me cracked up
He's a good reporter!
I’m from Massachusetts and I’ve been a Red Sox fan my whole life, but I’ve also been a Mets fan my whole life.
Top 10 shocking times a Starting quarterback was benched.
A “legit” fan is anyone who enjoys the team. Stop gatekeeping baseball, the last thing the sport needs is making fun of new fans
In the Mookie family we pass down the first name not the last name! Because family is always first!
Red Sox looking like Detroit lions fans when they win the super bowl if they ever do
I'm a marlins fan but I like the red sox. They might be hated but they have a lot of bandwagon fans everywhere
Jose H Gonzalez go fish
Like someone who says "I liked something before it was cool"
I liked the Red Sox before they were good. 1999 is the earliest i remember watching Red Sox games at 7 years old. My loyalty never left them like all my favorite teams i stick with them.
Jason, as a fellow Jason, and as a Sox fan, it is my duty to tell you that the Boston red Sox are not full of bandwagons(unlike the pats)
But I like the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. I don’t consider myself a Red Sox fan, just a fan of the game and I still got a large majority of the questions right
Also smooth pickup line 😂
I know that this is one but please do more finding bandwagon fans (nfl)
I'm a Yankees fan and I could get most of these questions right. Yet Yankee fans are the bandwagons. Can't even name how many championships they have and they don't even know Mookie Wilson
there are more yankee bandwagons than Red Sox
Just cause your not a bandwagon doesn't change the fact that most bandwagon fans are Yankee fans but props to you for knowing your shit about baseball
@Robert Mason, so was Bucky Dent but I doubt many true Red Sox fans don't know his name.
Same here, they weren't hard questions yet the "less bandwagon" red Sox got em wrong 🤔
Beastly shut up and just stare at all “your” rings dumbass
I think a few of the chicks didn't even know what the green monster is!! Lol
Next video like this you should go and ask people to name all the teams with numbers in their names
If I had a dollar 4 every bandwagon at my school I would be rich asf
To be fair, it's kinda hard to distinguish who's a die hard fan or not. A lot of these people are just at that game because their local sports team is competing for a world title. Even if you don't follow the team obsessively, it's cool to watch them try for a championship.
Great video
As a redsox fan I would be offended if anyone thought I was a bandwagon
Why would you need to know the First manager or Mookie’s full name
1:05 shout out to all my Worcester people!!
2:37 GOT EMM!!!
True fan test would have been to ask them to pronounce Carl Yastrzemski's name.
If they were looking for hardcore bandwagons, maybe they should've interviewed Dodger fans.🤷♂️
2:42 smooth
Luckiest play ever for each nfl team

I got to meet Mookie Wilson at one my showcase when I went to the Ripken experience in myrtle beach

They are all fake. Literally almost all of them pronounced "Mark" with a "r". Real people from Boston pronounce it with an "h" like "Mahk".

Still need to learn more things about the red sox since I was born in New England and Boston is in New England so I cheer for Boston.
You should ask my dad these questions, he liked the Red Sox since Fred Lynn was first batting sooo I think he is a diehard Red Sox fan
Says the one who’s wearing a Red Sox’s Jersey when he’s a Mets fan. Bandwagon
