Hey Fil, I really rate the Turnigy stuff, got quite a few parts including batteries, shocks and motors and they have all been most excellent! The Von Squash enjoyed the power! And wow, that Arrma is awesome! Great to have an excuse to get one!!! Must be the most fun battery test ever! Cheers! :D
You really can't go wrong with the Turnigy stuff, can you, Mark? I had some of their motors back in the day when I raced indoors. I was always a big fan. And yeah buddy, this battery testing was the most fun, and content-dense video I've put together to date. I love it! 😁👊🏼
Thanks, bro! We bought it off the original owner and it was in need of much love. Fully repainted, new windshield, headliner, brakes, tune up, and she purrs like a sexy 80's kitten all the way to Walmart and back! 😂😂😂
Sean Cammery? LOL! Good one..ya, could mention something about how "BIG" it is, but why bother? The punch lines should fill in the void. Great review on the batteries..maybe once I need some new Lipo's or Nimh, I'll check out the site! Cheers! See you in the next vid!
Great video Fil! Love that you are so poor you have staff now to build you ramps 🤣😂🤣 That pack and that truck were amazing fun. Great to see you enjoying all that raw power bud 🙌🏻 West coast traffic jam had me laughing dude
Those traffic James happen all the time on that road. I get a kick out of them, as the Geese are hilarious, and don't give a you-know-what... And there's always one person in line who's in a rush, and starts spazzing out. It's funny to watch. 😂
Hey Fil nice testing. I've had some Turnigy batteries and can only say good things about them. Also what a great excuse to get that Mojave. I have driven the 6s and it is an absolute beast. I've got the 4s and it's not all that much different really. You might be able to lower the voltage cut off on your Arrma. I did need to do that on my 4s and I got much longer runs after. I set it to 3.2 per cell and when you test it after it's about 3.4 so it's not running the battery too low. Cheers for now 😁
Good advice, Pete. I wasn't too sure where the factory cutoff was, and now we know. Like you, I usually drop mine down to 3.2 or 3.4, so we'll definitely do that on the next run and squeeze out a few more minutes of fun with the Mojave. 👍🏻
Oh man I've had some of those 2200 3s for years now. Still good and reliable, in my crawler they run for ages. Going to have to looking to those Rapid 6s. Hope shipping from hobby king is decent.
Hobbyking batteries work well. I have never used one on an electric car as there new to me, I'm a nitro guy. Though for planes there good but don't have the punch for a freestyle or racing drone.
Yeah, man, you bought a big truck to test that battery! Like you said, now you got a good excuse! I visited a hobbyshop a couple months ago, and he had a Mojave on display, I have to admit, very big and impressive, and it felt soooo smooth! It's on same chassis as my Fireteam, so I know it fairly well, and many of the components are same as my Typhon, which I love! The Arrma 6s range is really a good platform, you won't regret getting one!
I'm a sucker for these trophy trucks, and the Mojave 6S has been in my sights for so long. Now to finally own and drive one... What a dream! These trucks are SO cool! I'm really liking the Arrma stuff. 😁
I found the mojave LVC cuts out pretty early. I got mine a few months ago, and lowered the timing and punch to level 1 and the motor seems to stay much cooler. Its still insane on 6s imo lol 🎉❤😮
Hahaha. See, I do these things so that your partners see the cute little cat and think: "Sure, he can spend another grand on RC stuff. Even the cats like it!" 😂😂😂
I've the same batteries, 2S, 3S, 4S and 6S and they are awesome, The Mojave is the best truck I own, and I own almost all the 3S 4S and 6S range, even better that my Bigrock 6S
Nice session. Batteries look decent! Cheers
They sure are, Mauzy. Now I just need a big open space to get that Mojave flying! 💨💨💨
🤙😎. Nice Fil.
Thanks, Paul. 👊🏼
Excellent value on those batteries. That Squash van seemed very happy to hit the sand lol.
Yeah buddy! The Von Squash loves 3S power and sandy beaches (or volleyball courts). Haha. ⛱️ 🏐
Definitely good deals there on those batteries! And nice to see the Von Squash out again for a bit of action :)
The Von Squash is such a blast to drive! A little top-heavy, but a blast to zip around! 😊🤤
Very cool. I first hoped you tested the 6S on the Squashvan, too. But this sould be a short run😂. Very cool you showed this monster, too
Squash Van on 6S?!?! That's Talbot material! Haha! 😂

Great run Fil. The Mojave is awesome👍 so is Sean Cammery😂
Sean Cammery! Hahaha. I still laugh every time. 😂😂😂
"Hey honey I got a free battery so I am obligated to buy a truck that can handle it!" Awesome vehicle and batteries!
Hahaha, it's like you were a fly on the wall. 😂😂😂
love the mojave, really want one ,nice sandy rip 👍👍😀
They are awesome trucks! You're gonna love it! 👊🏼
She's a beast, Fil. Makes the XXL stand down for sure.
Remember when I tore my XXL chassis in half? Good times, old friend! 🤣
Man you’re making me a Tamiya Fan! I saw the paint vid the truck looks good!
Welcome to the Tam-Fam, Alton! Haha. You're gonna love it here. 😁👊🏼
Welcome to 6s glory 😅
Hahaha, it's good to be here! 😂👊🏼
I'm looking for a slim 6S pack for the boat.. good timing! I think they might have what I'm looking for and not too expensive 9:16 lil cutie!
Perfect! Yeah their battery lineup 8s massive! Hopefully you'll find what you need! Teela hopes you find it, too! 🐈⬛️ 😁
On an unrelated note, you kept that 85' Camry clean. Def one of the goated grocery getters.
Thanks, bro! We bought it off the original owner and it was in need of much love. Fully repainted, new windshield, headliner, brakes, tune up, and she purrs like a sexy 80's kitten all the way to Walmart and back! 😂😂😂
I have been buying from hobby king for almost 10 years. Can't beat their prices!
Amen to that!

Sean Cammery indeed! Lol! My wife spat out her coffee when she saw that dash mat arrive. 😂
It always amazes me how tech has changed. In the 80's we had 1200mah nicd's. 4 minute run times in a race (with race motors).
@@PsychoticBovine right?!?! I remember the first 1800mah pack I got as a kid. I could run for almost 10 minutes sometimes. It was crazy! Hahaha.
lol. I thought you were releasing this Sunday, no first for me . Drinking Zee Coffee watching Zee videos on the computer. LOL I run my king yellow 3s
Nah, Sunday is purely reserved for Scorebord Sunday and sweet Polka beats for the next several weeks. Lol! 🎶 🎵 🪗 🪗 🪗

That's good to hear! I knew they'd be perfect for a crawler, but I wanted to put them through some punishment. I'm very impressed!
@@poorboysrc for sure, great to see they can keep up with hard use👌

Ah, that's good to hear. I'm not a drone guy (yet), so this is good information. Cheers! 👊🏼

Excellent tip! I'll try that out, as I've heard these motors can overheat easily.
@@poorboysrc it gets hot then the loctite on the pinion grubscrew dies and loosens up. Bit of a snowball of issues

That Arrma is worth more than your Camry ha ha
It's faster, too! 😂😂😂
