In December 2020 I was a paramedic responding to about five COVID-19 related calls a shift. Of those, about 80% were severe/critical patients. Now in December 2021 I've only had about 25% of the amount of COVID-19 calls compared to the prior year almost all of them have been mild symptoms. The ones that were severe were all unvaccinated. Just from my point of view, the vaccine is helping.
My ICU currently has 12 COVID patients, 11 of them are unvaccinated. All these crazy comments are just flat out wrong denying it exists. I wonder if it’s just mental illness or stupidity
Dec of 2020, before I was eligible for the vaccine I was diagnosed with covid. It was terrible and I never had to go to the hospital. In March and April I received my vaccines. When the booster is available, I’ll be getting that too. I’m considered a long hauler. Nearly 9 months on, I am still having covid related issues. Get your vaccines, wear a mask.
The staff are the real heroes, not celebities…..😌 My son and husband had Covid 19 it was terrible they were really sick. They are Booth all right now🙏🏻
NHS staff are complicit in murder, there have been whistleblowers and evidence of abnormally heavy Midazolam use and compulsory DNRs. Some of the victims relatively young and capable of recovery if not even treated. Not my idea of heroes
I had COVID November of 2020. Stayed in the hospital for 4 and a half days never had to be on a ventilator. Doctors and nurses were awesome watched a lot of TV and visited with my roommate. He been in three weeks before I got in the room he was 72 years old. I did my best to get him to think positive and keep himself in a good mood. I hope he made it out and back to his wife.
Everybody that has an issue with the NHS, the care or whatever else has a choice: Wear a mask, keep your distance or stay home! Give these poor medical workers AND your family a break. Stop the suffering, Protect yourself, it is your human duty to protect others as well! Don't be selfish. I'd rather wear a mask than a ventilator!
I almost lost a dear friend to covid pneumonia. After 10 days in the hospital, they came home. God bless ALL the hospital staff for the great care they did for every patient. Continued success of recovery for those that were sick and sympathies to those that passed away. The virus is real! 😔
@@Croatz Eh, it can’t exactly be avoided but I’m sure most of these cases are people who have stayed inside, and possibly just caught it from going to the shops.. hopefully. But I don’t think that’s the case for a lot of teenagers who have caught covid, those cases could have been avoided if they didn’t go out against the guidelines and just stayed inside.
This broke my heart. I cried. This is terrible what so many people are going through. These doctors and nurses and all the other staff are amazing. They risk their lives everyday to save others lives. My heart breaks for the patients to see so much suffering.
Here in Victoria Australia we are on the end of our 4th lockdown. We still have to wear masks indoors and theres so many restrictions on things. @MESSY POOP CHANNEL 😱💩 Actually Australia is proof they do work. I don’t know a single person that has had Covid. We are over 80% double vaxed and over 90% at least single vaxed where I am, we aren’t in lockdown anymore and our numbers are still very low. Would rather have had to have lockdowns than be dead.

How can they take on so many patients when each patient can take up a bed for weeks? Surely they must turn a lot of people away. I was anti vax at the start but quickly got both jabs after seeing ICU patients in panicked and trying to breath. Il get the booster if it is offered too.
I can only imagine that this was 5 months ago & now with the variants running rampant these healthcare workers have to be beyond themselves. Witnessing & being a part of so much devastation takes its toll.🙏🏼😞

They’ve been caught lying about numerous things since the “pandemic” started They are so confident that they have brainwashed enough people that they can get caught and just carry on without losing any support. It sickens me
I'm so glad I didn't see my dad like this. This time last year I was desperate to see him before he passed, and when he did pass, I wanted to spend time with him, in the chapel of rest, but because he passed of covid, I wasn't allowed. A year on from when he was first infected and rushed to hospital, and next month is the first anniversary of his passing, I'm so glad I didn't see him and I have beautiful memories of him and not memories of him gasping for every breath he took, seeing him in a coma and on a ventilator, and subsequently passed away in his coffin.
I was in hospital last year. My GP called an ambulance due to an emergency. I was taken to hospital in an ambulance with paramedics presenting with a non-covid related illness. My mom is my main carer, I am wheelchair bound and suffer from the following diagnosis. Auto immune kidney disease, epilepsy, angina, atrial fibrillation, super ventricular tachycardia, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, chronic bronchitis, osteoporosis, and DDD. once I was assessed in the accident and emergency department I was moved to a ward called MAU. My mom was told in the accident and emergency department that she would have to leave. Even though she's my carer. When I was on the ward, I noticed how isolated I was from my family. It was impossible to get a signal on my phone. I asked for a jug of water multiple times. It took nearly 9 hours for me to get a drink. I was not offered any food, I'm on diabetic medication. The nursing staff just left me in the bed, they didn't seem to have a clue what to do. And I felt forgotten. I was only in for one night and felt worse for it. It was a very unpleasant experience, it didn't feel right not being able to see my family, especially my mom. I'm glad I didn't stay in long. due to the lack of food and fluids I would have definitely deteriorated. I can see why patients are dying quicker in hospital. I'm also suspicious that patients catch covid in hospital. Anyway I'm glad I'm home.
@@martynjukes482 Not true - it's made billions for its suppliers, encouraged people to see the state as benevolent and necessary, and helped preserve the false left-right paradigm by giving Labour a campaign issue. All the good stuff its establishment architects intended
i had a very unpleasnt experience in hospital too. i myself work for the nhs and think what some workers do is incredible but some people can be a bit lazy. when i was in hospital i needed to have a 5 minute coversation with the cadiology team and they kept me in ofor 3 nights.

We must take care of our hospital staff! They are on the frontline of this crisis and can only do so much for so long. The physical and mental toll is overwhelming, and yet we see staff being taken for granted with low pay, crushing schedules who are working quite literally till they drop. My daughter graduates nursing school in May and I shudder to think of her walking into the sheer chaos of this pandemic. Why is it that we are still reacting to Covid as if it were day one of the pandemic? Governments need to double down and come up with a plan that advocates for our hospital staff.
I was in coma for 6 weeks, had multiple organ failure, sepsis and pneumonia and when I came round I had lock-in syndrome. I had no physio at all whilst in ICU. The cramp was horrendous but all they would do for the pain was give me morphine rather than move my limbs. A year later I have only just left hospital and still in a wheelchair.
My sister has locked- in syndrome from a stroke caused by Covid complications and co- morbidities. Despite my being vaccinated, and meticulous care ( masking and hygiene) I tested positive this morning.
Those who believe it is their right to choose not to be vaccinated should have to watch documentaries such as this one. The staff have done a phenomenal job and deserve all the support they can get. Dima has such a positive outlook, I hope she is well and hasn't suffered long term physical effects.
Imagine dieing alone in hospital and not being able to breath all because they didn't get the vaccine... I was shocked to see the hospital so full respect to all the doctors and nurses working so hard
It’s sad to see a machine the NHS being ran at full capacity but seeing it struggle to handle it is even more sad, years of constant funding cuts have weakened the machine instead of strengthening it over the decades since it was first made, it should have easily been able to handle the country’s needs and then some with ease a long time ago
I do not if these ever reach anyone. They make me feel better. Is there anything volunteers can assist. Taking coffee, making sure plent of towels, gloves, etc. Somethng to help. Our earth trives with voluteers.
This government and all that follow need to remember just what it took and has taken to get through these periods of terrible times, the general public also need to show massive amounts of respect towards the care staff on all fronts that worked through it and continue to do so . Rip to all those who did not make it through .
COVID has given me long lasting effects unfortunately. Now I sometimes outta no where gasp for air for just a quick second and it goes away. Doesn't happen all the time and sometimes weeks will pass, but it never happened before until I had COVID and the cough I had was so bad for 3 months it was horrible and now it's lingered effects in me.
Despite meticulous care - double masking and hygiene, I tested positive this morning and have full- blown symptoms. What makes matters worse, is I live alone, don't have family here in the U.S. ( I live on the border) and don't drive. This makes it difficult to maneuver - shopping, going to the Dr., etc. I am on a fixed income and can't take an Uber - going by bus would be crazy as I feel weak and am coughing heavily.
@@thegreatconvidscamdemic3939 Ah, the old critical thinker line, from an individual with an intelligence somewhere between Father Dougal McGuire and Baldrick.
I had covid in March of 2020. The aftermath is still troubling me four years later. I was in the hospital for a month, in a coma for three weeks, and when I woke up I couldn’t walk. I had to go into a nursing facility to learn how to walk again, amongst other things. Covid took my singing voice and I walk with a cane. I lack energy to do a lot of things. I’m back at work, but limited to what I can do. It frustrates me because I’m 56 years old.
Some of these comments are hilarious. The denial of what is going on in the world with COVID is staggering. The conspiracy theorist who spout their rubbish make for a humorous read though. It’s hard to believe that so many comments are hateful and disrespectful of those who have died and their families.
This is the reason I'm ashamed of 2020. All hell broke loose. The NHS were the real heroes. The Covid patients bravely and valiantly struggled all the way to the end.
It was hard to watch, the actors and the wrongly diagnosed sick just didn’t done it for me. They needed more psychological EE contact and dark vignette ambience, dark dreary music even. Remember the “look at them in the eyes advert” talk about emotional blackmail and propaganda

Wow the wonderful nurses and doctors and ancillary staff , we owe them so much.
All hail the state for allowing us to live. Maybe
I lost my family member to the vaccine.
The staff are the real heroes, not celebities…..😌
My son and husband had Covid 19 it was terrible they were really sick. They are Booth all right now🙏🏻
Did they have even 1 vaccine?
NHS staff are complicit in murder, there have been whistleblowers and evidence of abnormally heavy Midazolam use and compulsory DNRs. Some of the victims relatively young and capable of recovery if not even treated. Not my idea of heroes
R. I. P tony love to your family
@lif3, I was thinking of the same, RIP Tony, love to Linda and family.
Chris Evans not covid 19
Everybody that has an issue with the NHS, the care or whatever else has a choice:
Wear a mask, keep your distance or stay home!
Give these poor medical workers AND your family a break. Stop the suffering, Protect yourself, it is your human duty to protect others as well! Don't be selfish.
I'd rather wear a mask than a ventilator!
Exactly nicely said 💯 right
I almost lost a dear friend to covid pneumonia.

The release of this virus should have been avoided.
I hate the harsh lockdowns and we had a very harsh one last year for 4 months! But it helped. Everyone should be wearing masks and so many more restrictions. God bless the medical staff everywhere!

We are going for our 7th lock down right Carrie from today night
@MESSY POOP CHANNEL 😱💩 Actually Australia is proof they do work. I don’t know a single person that has had Covid. How can they take on so many patients when each patient can take up a bed for weeks? Surely they must turn a lot of people away. I was anti vax at the start but quickly got both jabs after seeing ICU patients in panicked and trying to breath. Il get the booster if it is offered too.

Also, US used Italy footage that was supposed to apparently be a hospital in new york.

God bless these healthcare workers, the nurses, the doctors and all the people that support them... God bless them all!

Anyway I'm glad I'm home.
stay safe and strong
The NHS is a failed project

All of our vaccinated staff in our Trust keep getting covid. One in hospital, numerous died after their injections. Pull the other one.
I have been sharing these videos via social media. Hopefully, it makes some think.
This is 2024 now, and I feel so fortunate to still be alive.
Nearly 1/4 of the US (70M people) had zero covid jabs, and we are all still alive and doing just fine today as well.
Now what?
I was in coma for 6 weeks, had multiple organ failure, sepsis and pneumonia and when I came round I had lock-in syndrome. I had no physio at all whilst in ICU. The cramp was horrendous but all they would do for the pain was give me morphine rather than move my limbs. A year later I have only just left hospital and still in a wheelchair.
My sister has locked- in syndrome from a stroke caused by Covid complications and co- morbidities. Despite my being vaccinated, and meticulous care ( masking and hygiene) I tested positive this morning.
14 year RN….. i wont be participating in another pandemic after living through that, my mental health is more important than the public
God bless all the healthcare workers💕

It’s sad to see a machine the NHS being ran at full capacity but seeing it struggle to handle it is even more sad, years of constant funding cuts have weakened the machine instead of strengthening it over the decades since it was first made, it should have easily been able to handle the country’s needs and then some with ease a long time ago
