No words to describe what I felt ... it's just ... wonderful. That every person who appears in this video feel what I felt to hear those beautiful songs. Thank you.
Hello, this is shot in the Havre de Rothéneuf (which is now included in Saint Malo, it wasn't always the case). The house used to belong to my great-grand-mother. Usually, there's always an article when a Take Away Show is released. This one has been translated and should be online soon on the english version of the Blogotheque website. Hope this help and gives you an inside peek of what's going on in the film and around. Cheers!
This is the biggest group I've seen so far. It makes me wished I had a group of friends who played different instruments and we all got together and sung together. =)
Hey, links are not allowed in youtube comments. Perhaps you should try googling "jwsound blogotheque". That should help. Cheers. Note: we usually have an ORTF stereo boom mic, 2 wireless mics (with a 4 track recorder edirol R44) and one or two h4. But some sessions we get lucky and have a bit more gear. Like this one (it was kind of necessary: there's more than 10 musicians!)
This has a dirty clothes, nature, close quarters, tree planting, elks, Jesus beard vibe.. check out "Do You Realize" The Flaming Lips w/ Edwarde Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes (Live).
it would be sick if you didnt always hide the way you guys recorded them. that would make it seem that much more unplugged. if you cant see anything mic'd or plugged it it seems like it was recorded somewhere else
Hey man, sound engineer here. Check it out on JWSOUND, there a topic in the general discussion board where some of us have answered questions sound engineers have been asking. Hope this helps!

Man! These videos are filmed and recorded so beautifully. They really inspire great performances just the same.
Really nice. Looks a bit chilly on that beach. Brrrr.
This approaches real craftsmanship.
I can't believe there exist such a fantastic channel on youtube. Your videos are just so well done!

the fact that they're listening to nude by radiohead in the car in the beginning already tells me they're good musicians....
9:32 onward. I feel like I'm starting to float off my seat, fly through the window and embark to a magical adventure.
What is the first song?
we're on the same way
Ah Ghislain, my French romance. Is that your Turbo D?
Is this french-english exchange ?
What do you mean? People anchor their boats in the harbour, and the tide is clearly out so they're not presently using them...
Is that a triplet on 5/4?
Okay but what's the second?

Better yet check out my buddy Aiden Knight and his song "Jasper"
It's 5/8 I guess. 1-2-3-1-2 all over, count it, it fits..
I think it's just eighth-notes. 10 shakes per measure. :)
Amazing vid. But I would have prefered less close-up. Close-up shots don't leave any liberty to the viewer to see which instrument he wants.
@édouard gerthoffer Sorry i didńt heard The l'aSt So
They are listening to nude by Radiohead thats so rad
Radiohead on the car!!!!
I'm french and I don't even understand the lyrics, sorry x) At least "OOOOWOWOOOOWOOOO"
un groupe de RENNES
I hear radiohead!
french hipsters
Well, don't they sing pretty.
I've never been one to label, but oh my god, the hipsters...
