I wouldn’t spend one dollar to go see this team. You guys got it right. Changes are needed.
The answer is this is not a championship caliber organization as currently assembled or run. The ownerships only goal is a profitable business, it just happens to be a baseball team. You don’t have to win championships to be profitable and it costs money to make changes and that cuts into the margin.

Correa bears a ton of blame. He made sure to get his PAs last year to guarantee him all or most of the contract has taken it easy all season. I think his ankle leads to his foot problems. Blames it on the cleats him and Buxton need to be out there they make almost all the $ and the payroll was cut by 30 mill and thats possible because of the new guys. Front office is most to blame. They need more pitchers actually ready to play in the bigs not forced to because they are short on talented arms. They traded a now multiple time batting champ(while they set strike out records) to get Pablo and were lucky Joe Ryan worked out as well as it has. Richardson is from Toronto, Duran is from Arizona. The Twins never identify and develop young arms until they are on other teams. They have a bunch of bats but no number 1 or 2 quality starting pitching. They wont spend the money on them in free agency I dont know how they think they can win this way year in and year out. Its insanity. Santana came from Marlins and Phillies and Liriano from Giants. They need to bring in someone who can identify pitching period damn everything else. Pitching cures most ills.

Maddon wants sole responsibility for managing games, He wouldn't want Derek Falvey telling him what to do. The Twins could hire Maddon and reduce the power Falvey has, limiting Falvey's control over game management.

Plantar fasciitis can vary greatly its severity and playing quarterback in the NFL involves much less running, moving and planting than a MLB shortstop. You are comparing apples to oranges.
