Here I realized that unlike Yuu Kashima, who has Mikorin, Ao doesn't seem to have a male friend that close. And as I took in what she said about her father, I remembered how Kobo treats Altare as an older brother figure, though I should note that as far as I've learned, the struggle Kobo has with her actual older brother is his neurodivergence getting in the way rather than something like Papa-kuyu being overprotective. Anyway, even with Aruran having this younger form, he is still very dad, and for that as well, I am very glad.

Yea.. Honestly, it's one of the best ways, to make sure that your kids will never tell you anything about themselves and will avoid you as much as possible. Just do not allow them to experience life properly. It might help them to become independent faster, but at the cost of you de facto becoming a stranger.. Kinda not worth it, if you ask me.
