I was just given one of these from a friend! No remote, but I’ve learned how to navigate the menu without the remote. I love the radio and built-in VCR. My NES looks and sounds fantastic on it, too.
I also have one with out a remote. It used to work perfectly for about 5 months & then it randomly cuts out after about 5 mins saying it needs to be programmed. Any idea of how to fix this without a remote? Or where to purchase a remote? Any info will help!
I just bought this same tv on saturday off fb market place in mint condition off a woman for $5. Worked great for 4 days playing vhs tapes and all of a sudden starting eating my tapes so i contacted a tv repair man to check it out hoping he can fix whatever the issue may be.. Hoping it just needs to be cleaned maybe abit dusty on the inside where it sat for over ten years. This tv was made back in 1999 so yeah going on 20 years old hope it can be repaired i would be sad to lose it. Repair man said parts for it are hard to find even online.
@Timmy Lopukhovi got lucky and found a tv repair man and he actually found the part it needed just took afew months to receive the part and all is very well now tv has been working great for over ayear now. It just needed a new belt the old one was worn out. I was very fortunate to find a small tv repair shop and the owner was such a nice guy and was willing to look at it for $20 and once he found the issue and told me it would take time to receive the part but after afew months he called and said it was good to go and working well i was so happy and he only charged me $30 on top of that with a nice tip too. 🙌
I GOTTHE VCR!!!! OUTSIDE!!!! STILL WORKS!!! I GET TO PLAY MY MOM WEDDINGS TAPES AND VEGGIETALES!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!!! I YAVE BEEN WANTING A VCR FOR A WHIKE!!!
Trabant P601 nes and snes have the same a/v cable with the red white and yellow how did you plug it in to the tv I only see 2 plug ins also do the pixels line up I don’t want a blurry fuzzy screen
Don't think I've ever seen one of these in white. I had one in black for a good while. Got it from my grandmother who had it in her bedroom for years. Unfortunately the VCR stopped working after a while, and I couldn't find anyone who wanted to take it off my hands, so I ended up junking it. I still kick myself for that, and almost wish I had the capabilities at the time to repair the VCR, because it was a cool little set.
I'm trying to connect a DVD player to this exact TV. I know how to connect it but can't figure out what channel it needs to be on to play. I do not have a remote.
Press stop and rewind at the same time it will take you to the menu. There you can put it on line channel and play console or DVD player with av cords on front
It's a Videocassette Recorder Where you put a big thing called a vhs tape Inside of it and you can watch movies on it, you can find vhs tapes at yard sales or at thrift stores. the tape inside of the vhs wears out over time everytime you play it.

I have one also w/o the remote. The manual doesn't cover much w/o using the remote so how did you get to the manual by only using the TV itself?

I happen to have one of these and was wondering how you connect the av cables and see it on the tv. I can't seem to find the right channel for it.
The channel below 2 is usually the A/V channel.
Nevermind I just switched to line
Do you know how to switch to line without a remote? I can’t get passed the channel scan
@@thriftymaniac just got one of these and unfortunately i don’t think you can:/
