An underrated technique in this clip is Geoff deliberately moving on from the joke and steering the conversation back into mundane toppings banter in order to give Amir the opportunity to interrupt again and develop the joke. The diva actually interrupts Jake mid-sentence twice for this purpose. Great initiative and great setup.
