Superb and timely advice, I’ve just contacted Edson regarding a chain and cable replacement for my Catalina 28 Mk1.
Very good and helpful video! Capt Canning does a good job on demonstrating and narration.
+Steadman Uhlich Thanks, glad it was helpful, stay tuned as they say for some new stuff coming.
Such a great video, thank you so much for putting this together!
Another excellent video Wayne, Cheers.
+Dave Maher Thanks
Thank you, this video helped me a lot.
I did an adjustment of the steering cable to align the steering wheel. The cable was apparently too loose and caused vibration of the rudder post under power. I tightened the cable until the vibration went away.
Thank you!
Many thanks!
I AM IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE CHAIN AND CABLE. I find your video of great value, until it came to attaching the cable to the quadrant. It is the round aluminum type. I would greatly appreciate help with this one.
Nothing of this was done in my sailboat. Now how to do the corrective mtce.!! How to move the poleis of the cables??!
I was thinking it would be good to add a nut on the backside of the cable, until he stated this was a bad idea........
what a nightmare - use a tiller
Good idea to empty the locker..seriously?
