After having a rog, a steam deck and a gaming pc, i can firmly say that i want nothing to do with pc AT ALL. I just want an xbox branded handheld that plays my entire library natively. Something i can turn on and all my games and os and drivers are updated automatically like an xbox, it has all my xbox tiles and all my settings and saves and walpaper all synced up and ready to go. It COULD even have quick resume if it was native xbox architecture.

People truly forget how important competition is and how it helps the consumer. I play on Xbox but would love for the PS side to get a powerful capable handle as well
@@InnerRisePS5 has almost Zero AAA 'current gen' games and new IPs are almost non existent. No wonder half of Playstation owners are still on PS4 the PS5 is pointless.
I think the Xbox handheld would have had much more potential if their games were still exclusive to the ecosystem and not available on steamdeck, ROG etc.
Also, I think shadow drops are much more viable now thanks to Xbox Gamepass where sales aren't the priority but sustained gamepass subscribers are
You'd be surprised as a rog ally owner a legit Xbox handheld sounds awesome. Not all Xbox games on your account transfer to PC. So a whole Xbox ecosystem on a handheld would be awesome for me personally.
I dont want it to be pc AT ALL, i just want my entire xbox library to work on the device and i dont want to deal with windows, or even see the logo anywhere

@@chrisbrown113096 I also have an ROG and because of that I have absolutely no interest in an xbox handheld. 1. Because I get gamepass and Xbox titles. 2. I get full access to steam 3. I can use it as a PC. 4. I have access to PlayStation titles AND Nintendo via emulation.

Only reason why i still havent bought a handheld is because all of my game purchases are digital copies on xbox. So a real xbox handheld is an instant buy

I play my xbox on The steamdeck oled via xbplay. I never take my steamdeck outside so The playing natively aspect dont matter to me.

I love comparing this possible shadow drop to hifirush, when that shadow drop probably hurt that game. Like you dont want shadow drops for games that u like.

If the last of us 2 port really is true. Why was the last of us 1 port so bad? It was also delayed after the first season. It makes sense and doesn't at the same time.

That was only fanboy rumours try listening to Microsoft themselves, Microsoft officially announced months ago they are currently making a next gen Xbox and other Xbox related hardware.
I run a classroom with Xbox’s, and a handheld would change how I teach so much.

Most of the best games aren’t even on the switch so how have they won? I own both the switch and steam deck and I play my steam deck way more
To the contrary, the Switch has the highest quantity of games commonly considered the best games of all time on it, far exceeding any other console. Your anecdotal evidence doesn't really hold

They won because they basically own the handheld market. You wouldn't be able to tell by listening to games journos, but the Steam Deck is a super niche product, afaik it hasn't even moved 5m units yet. The other PC gaming handhelds are even more niche. Exclusives matter and Nintendo keeps their exclusives to themselves. The stuff you can play on a Steamdeck is better on a console/pc.
An Xbox handheld would fulfill a similar role to the PS Portal, an accessory for the most engaged users but not something that's gonna necessarily draw people in.
