Oh man I thought Andy was going to get the last turn chance time for a second. I had like vietnam flashbacks to the mayhem that would happen back in the day from that.
It's good to see that this game is bringing back some of the old stuff, but I wish there was a 'true' mode you could play that tossed out all this participation coins nonsense and put back in the stricter Mario Party 1 'you lose all your coins. too bad' sort of stuff. I was happy to see the few minigames that did actually have a tie or draw condition, but they still got coins from them, which is never how that worked back in ze day. I think people's perception of the first game has gotten foggy over time, but Mario Party one was bruuuuutal with the punishments, and there really hasn't been a Mario Party like it since then. It's always been my favourite of the n64 era ones and so I hope this game gets more MP1 DLC boards at some point.
