Gotta be one of the best sounding bikes I ever heard. Got that Ducati growl but Japanese bike rasp
Such beautiful brand new 765!
Glad you enjoying your ride
Recently New Triple 765s are released in korea and recieving a lot of attention
Triumph's roadsters were unpopular to korean riders, but these new ones could be different
I hope that the new 765s can deliver the impression of Triple symphonies to many riders
Enjoy your ride and be safe
from south korean 1200RS rider
You’re the best bro . I’ve been looking for a full system for my 24’ street triple
Glad I could help! Definitely a great choice!
Its awesome dude the sound, now onwards its my meditation music 🎵
Motorcycle therapy!
Sounds beautiful, what’s your tail tidy kit btw? Looks clean
Moto dynamic makes some great options. I got the integrated tail light and tucked plate option
Just got mine today. Same shipping time. Looking forward to getting this installed on my 23 street triple RS
Niiiice. Congrats. You’re in for a treat
@@TheRiceRocketeer a treat indeed. Just got it bolted up and took her for a quick spin. Sweet sound of the 765
How's the bike doin?
Locked away for the winter months. Waiting for some nice weather so I can get back out there.
Thanks for posting this, been looking for a full system for my 24 RS, and this sounds fantastic (even with the baffle in).
What was the timing like from order placed, to receiving the system? Just 1 week?
No problem! 1 week total. Very responsive team. Answered my email and ig message next day.
@@TheRiceRocketeer - contacted them, should have something on the way to me soon. They need to give you a referral reward or something :)
@@303MoTo oooh keep me posted! Would love to hear how it goes!
Do you need to remap it? I will get my TST tomorrow from the dealer and I will be looking in the near future to install some exhaust
@@guillediazguerra - No remap required. Super easy!
I like the exhaust sound! Im curious if its going to be too loud to the ears after 4 hours or so of riding. Have you done any long road trips with it?
Id definitely suggest some earplugs. In fact they send a pair with the exhaust lol. I did a fourish hour trip without them and my ears hurt
So cool! I’ve ordered mine yesterday, it’s necessary to do a map? Have you mapped yours?
No map necessary!
Thank you very much
How'd it come out?
Nice vlog! Im wondering how much it cost you to have the exhaust delivered from the UK? Im thinking of buying it directly from them. TIA
I think it was 300ish when I got mine.
Sounds wicked! Let’s hear some more decel pops, though, those are my favorites.
Next video for sure! I actually dont get as many as I thought I would…
I hear you, I don’t on mine either.
"decel pops" is actually AIS valve working. They put that on modern bikes for enviroment reasons. Burns off unburnt fuel in the exhuast. Cant imagine it does anything good for the engine. Not normal at all.
You can block that off if you want to on most bikes. I guess Triumph have some smoother and better solution on the new street triple because it sounds much cleaner.
Good tuned bikes only "pops" sometimes when you switch gear on hard acceleration / deceleration.
Back in the day before AIS systems the "decel pops" would be a very good indicator of a engine running bad or is really poorly tuned.
@@cfvgd decel pops are completely normal as far as I understand it. Typically gets muffled out in the OEM pipes, but is amplified in aftermarket ones, and is more of a gurgling/rumbling. I think you’re referring to backfires and/or afterfires, which are a result of mis-timing and tuning. Those are bad.
In otherwords, shouldnt really be a violent pop, but you will hear small pops and gurgling which is normal.
@@TheRiceRocketeeryes it's "normal" in a sens because they put it in. Can be removed and bikes run fine or even better. Also oem pipes has a large cat that removes most of the pops. It's unnecessary because unburnt fuel get burnt up in the exhuast anyway. And a proper tuned bike have very little unburnt fuel coming out.
Imo a full system should never have AIS on. If you are running a slip-on then id leave it on
Wow gorgeous bike and gorgeous sound. Did you have to tone it?
No tune necessary
Been looking at exhaust options for my striple so appreciate the insight! Was the customs tax pretty reasonable when you had it shipped over?
I think I paid about 1400 total. I did the full kit, which was 1100 or so itself.
Sweet. Thanks for the info!
Hi do you know if i can fit a slip on muffler on my 2024 765rs?
Hey mate, any noticeable changes to the bike outside of the sound? I can see that race fit don’t recommend a tune with this setup as it uses stock headers but I also heard that the 22 model headers are slightly more restrictive; so wondering if there’s a slight loss of power there?
(Although thinking about it now the weight reduction probably offsets that anyway lol)
no power loss, and no tune necessary. I felt the bike become a little more responsive, although that could be psychological. Drops about 25 lbs though, so definitely lighter.
Hi I have fitted a race fit exhaust. Sounds great but there is loud ticking coming from top of the engine. Never did this with standard exhaust. Is this normal.
should be no ticking... I get a little rattle where the headers meet the pipe, but its not so much a ticking.
Just curious... why you don't use quick shifter?
I honestly love the process. I like being busy and having something to manage. I use it to downshift, and rarely rev match manually anymore. When I’m in a pinch and need to get moving quickly, I’ll use it though.
@@TheRiceRocketeersame I got a Daytona so no auto blip but I tend to only really use it when I’m pinning the throttle and not for casual cruising. Also got a black edition on mine
update: I now ONLY use the quickshifter haha! I've become a die hard supporter. lol
@@TheRiceRocketeerI have the crystal white r and I didn't think I was going to use the quick shifter either but I love it now also just ordered my growler x today
@@jackaitken5306 yea it becomes habbit so quickly! I was anti quickshifter for so long haha. Congrats on the growler, it’s gonna bring your bike alive!
Did you do a tune with your exhaust?
no tune necessary.
did you change the air filter to free flow?
no, thinking of trying it out though, I know it gives you a few hp.
are you riding with a thumb throttle?
I had a cruise control flipper on it at the time.
@@TheRiceRocketeer oh I see was it comfortable? I'm looking for something because my hand keeps getting numb on longer rides
Yea its a fantastic addition for minimal cost (like $5). I have one on my Indian now.
Just ordered this bike 2024 Carnival red. Do i need a Full system or is it possible with slip-on? Does it ruin guarantees?
Need a full system, void’s warranty, and is worth it
@@TheRiceRocketeer i thought it doesnt void warranty if you dont tune it?
You have a video with the baffle out lol??
Tons. Check out the channel!
Have you tuned it yet?
no tune necessary, although I am getting curious about it...
Guess you got over the mt07 was looking for the 1 year review
Well, it got stolen. Wish I still had it! Didnt get nearly enough time with it as I would have liked.
@@TheRiceRocketeer my 3 week old brand new duc monster got stolen :S now im picking up this.
Interested to see how loud it now is compared to the stock exhaust. Can you measure the db level in some way? What did you mean by installing a silencer material inside?
Its very loud. Cameras don’t do these exhausts justice. I’m uk based and just had my growler x come through. Fitted it to my moto 2. All I can say is that you definitely need to wear earplugs if you don’t have a baffle inserted, or otherwise you might get tinnitus! The growler on this one is there first design I believe and you can have a choice of 2 or 3 baffles. Without the baffle it sounds very deep but such a sweet sound. With the baffle it becomes more raspy. It doesn’t matter which option you go for they are both beautiful and such well made exhausts.
If you want something that you can pick and choose from for the sound then I’d go for the original growler so that you can put a baffle in incase you think it’s very loud.
Please bear in mind that the growler X there latest one or the black edition you cannot have a baffle with these exhaust as that’s only available in the growler in this video if this makes sense.
Hope this helps 👍🏻
Will have to do a comparison! The exhaust comes with the DB killer. Looks like a metal grate that gets inserted in the end piece. It actually does cut the sound some, but not nearly enough to be "neighbor friendly" lol.
agreed! I started wearing earplugs the day after this shoot. When I took my helmet off after this video, my ears were ringing. Definitely worth wearing them!
@@TheRiceRocketeer I don’t think there is a better exhaust out there for them. Everyone does the SC project, but I just think these look the best and sound the best IMO.
@@E21Con yea, SC project is nice, but just so damn expensive, and from the videos, didnt sound all that much better on the triple (to me)
Can I fit the Akra slip on instead of racefit slip on along with the racefit headers.? Because the growler is too loud. I need something like Akra or sc project sc1-r.
The race fit headers are in fact triumph. So theoretically, yes, you might just need to get a mid pipe.
@@TheRiceRocketeer ohh. I asked the dealer in our state but idk whether he is correct or not but he told me that the 2022 or 2023 model stock header won’t fit 2024 model. So I got confused 😕
Sorry for the late response! That shouldn't be the case, because the headers that I got with my kit were likely 2022... Check out the racefit site, and if anything hit them up on IG. They will get back to you within a day or two.
What do you mean by full system option?
They have the option for the full system. The 2023+ models need the full system since it's welded together.
@@TheRiceRocketeer I appreciate it but I still don’t understand does that mean and entirely new exhaust from engine to pipe?
@@damrgee8279 correct. You will need the headers as well as the pipe and can. So racefit sells the whole kit so you dont have to find the pieces individually. They also sell just the pipe and can for models that do not have a full system.
Essentially, if you don’t get the full system, and you have this bike, you wont be able to put it on.
@@TheRiceRocketeer thank you
@@damrgee8279also good to point out that the system retains the catalytic converter. So it’s a legal option as well. That’s part of why it does not require a flash I believe.
Por que cambias con embrague? Si tienes Quick sifter
I enjoy shifting when I can. Although the quickshifter is great for downshifts.
Why are you using the clutch
I love the clutch! Only use the quick shifter when I'm doing a pull or coming to a quick stop.
@@TheRiceRocketeer same -- the clutch is too damn fun
is a tune needed?
nope.
