Imagine if they made Half-Life, OpFor, BS and Decay all into one game, like a Call of Duty game. Most of the time you'd be Gordon, going around killing aliens and doing a bunch of sciencey shit. Then there's Gina and Colette every few levels doing some teamwork shit. Three or four levels where Barney's running around wondering what the fuck just happened, and then near the end of the game you play as Shephard, blow shit up, and listen to the best soundtrack. Then play Portal. So awesome.
I remember this music, i think that it was played near of the first Voltigore in the game with 2 Pit Drones and 1 Shock Trooper appearing in a corridor... This could be the Race X Theme...
Some part of me wants to believe that only part of the Black Mesa facility was destroyed with a nuclear weapon and one day we’ll go back to find it overgrown like Aperture Laboratories

@Kristaps Diii Atom Bombs can do a lot of damage. Black Mesa had at least three. There are a ton of explosives lying around Black Mesa. There is a ton of ignitable fuel lying around Black Mesa. There is a ton of Uranium around. All that combined would lead to a massive chain reaction.

The nuke was in an underground parking garage at best you have a large creator with a radioactive facility. Black Mesa was a large complex
