    As someone who worked in the wireless industry for many years and put on easily over 1,000 screen protectors of all kinds on a variety of different devices all I can say is fuuuuucckkkk thisssssss, Lol. A tablet install urks me, this would drive me nuts, especially being the perfectionist that I am. Came out clean as hell though, props!

    Instead of plastic wrap, I had something called.... Wait for it.... A 'clear coat' applied to my car. looks amazing.

    • @BemaroSpecialtyFilms
      @BemaroSpecialtyFilms  7 лет назад

      Yup... clear coat is an option as well. Every vehicle owner will choose what is best for their usage... for this owner, only PPF (aka clear wrap) will protect it against debris he'll come up against when driving 200MPH on the track.

  • @demikpre
    @demikpre 7 лет назад

    do you ever have to worry about leaving the flim on so long itll bake on to the paint?

    • @BemaroSpecialtyFilms
      @BemaroSpecialtyFilms  7 лет назад +4

      Like other polyurethanes these films need to be maintained and protected with UV protective coatings (waxes) to give it the longest lifespan possible. Based on experience, little maintenance can shorten life of film to 3 years, depending on how often the vehicle is outdoors. Based on experience: While maintaining (washing, waxing, etc.) the vehicle at least once every week, the film lasts longer than the warranty coverage (10 years).

      Edgar Villa thanks!!! Yes, some people keep commenting as if I should eliminate scenes whenever I use torch or blade. The point of the video is to show my skills, and if it creates fear in your eyes then GOOD. Obviously my work is not for you... I am coming out with a new video soon of an install on a Porsche RWB. More blade scenes than any other video and in detail of the process to show how paint is never scratched. Thanks to you Eddie and all my supporters!!!

      Bemaro Specialty Films: Paint Protection Services not questioning your work, just saying there is special tools in your industry so you don't have to use a blade or a torch..why even take the chance with someone else's property? Why? Comes down to your pretty much your using other ppls prize possession and property in a unsafe way just for "shock value" and monitory gain on RUclips..you no there's SPEACIL tools you should be using but you refuse too.. and as far as you saying there's no scratches..how can you b so sure ?, haven't seen one video posted of the wrap being torn off and a spot light shined up close to the clear coat ..and when ther is a scratch found are you really going to point it out to your client? Thought so.. point being... You want to be a professional..then act like one and stop using your clients property foolishly just for views...

  • @johnls39

    Not sure if this is worth it over time with maintenance. I generally clay detail and wax my entire car twice a year between extreme weather seasons, summer and winter. Although I still get rock chips in the front end, I can always go to the paint and repair shop to remove the chips and make the front end like new again. IMO, I think it is a waste of time especially if you have door dings on the side and slight scratches on the exterior on other parts of the car. I have an '06 VW that still looks showroom new.

    • @YouSoundButtHurt
      @YouSoundButtHurt 7 лет назад

      Bullshit, unless you respray all those chips, it'll never look like it did from the factory. A full wrap like this is much more cost effective long term.

    • @johnls39
      @johnls39 7 лет назад

      How long does the wrap generally last? How foolproof are they is the question? Don't think it is an investment if they require constant maintenance. If someone wants to clay down the whole exterior and wax twice a year, don't think it is that effective unless you are the type of person who don't believe in fully detailing the exterior. Regardless, of what you say, if the car is being rebuilt from the auto shop from an accident, the car will look like it came out of a factory. It all depends on who you take it to.

    • @TasteMyStinkholeAndLikeIt
      @TasteMyStinkholeAndLikeIt 7 лет назад +1

      Yes, I agree completely... putting a wrap on a highly used shitwagon would be an insane waste of time and money.
      My last 2 cars have been wrapped in XPel Ultimate. It's worlds better than a shitarded wax job. But then again, we're talking starting from a brand new car.
      There's a reason high end cars over $70k generally come standard with a PPF on the front end. Wax ain't gonna do jack shit, and requires tremendous maintenance compared to a 10 year warranty XPel Ultimate wrap film.
      But clearly with an 06' VW, you're nowhere near the level of giving a fook about your car compared to someone who just drove off the showroom floor with a $100k caddy.

      There are some installers that oppose the use of a torch for tint, clear bras and wraps. I on the other hand need it to be efficient and avoid having to run into 100 ft extention cords (for some jobs). Sometimes when needed, I pull the heat gun out. This is usually for areas that can be difficult to use a torch in.

    Honestly I think The 2012 CTS-V looks better. I still dont understand why they went to a 4 door modle.

      Matrixman 109 I agree the Gen 2 V looks better. The 2016-17s are still growing on me though.

      Considering you're still riding around in a booster seat on your moms grocery runs, I don't think your opinion carries much weight.

      Nick RAOL you're on RUclips... obviously you have time to spare. not changing title. Thanks for your suggestion though... next time read the ENTIRE title before wasting 5 min + 1 min to comment.
