Omg finally a system that helps turn a tub into a walk in shower. such an insightful video. Thanks Brent you were freaking awesome and so informative. look forward to part 2.
You always show us how to do the job correctly, with the best materials as well - a true craftsman!! I am very interested to know how easily the Wagner paint roller system is to clean?
The wall steamer kills me! Completely respect the fact that you need sponsors; get your money! Seriously though, I can’t see this catching on! Primer technology is so good today this is completely unnecessary. If I can seal 50 years of nicotine stains, I can seal anything! Love the channel! Keep up the great work!
Ok, Brent, first comment: I will never have to go old school on my shower pans after watching this video. That system you used on the shower tells me that my days of RedGuard are over!!! And the shower pan install will save me a whole day of labor, not to mention it has the perfect slope! Now, question, on the Wagner Steamer, can I use it to remove wallpaper, or is it just for cleaning? Thanks so much, amazing video. (p.s., my wife stole my BYOT Sexy Beast tee shirt, so I'll be ordering another one).
Love hearing that Mitch and always appreciate your support. I still love me some RedGuard though haha. The steamer actually does come with a wallpaper remover and I featured it in this video. Perfect questions :) ruclips.net/video/r9PMzWlve4I/видео.html
This project came out great. Can you please give us an idea of the sq footage of brick used and the estimated cost goes as far as the brick only (without tools and labor)
So, where is the finished video! My son and I need to know how to finish tiling our bathroom! And we love your voice and style! We recently had to rip up some tiles on the shower where a crack had formed, and we discovered some water leakage, etc. Do you havea video for part 3?
Wow! I can only dream of this kind of makeover for my bathroom!! Well, I'll hope for it someday too.😁 I'm not healthy enough to do this myself....alas.
Can you comment on what you did to the joint between the kerdi and drywall outside of the shower? Did you just use the hot mud to smooth the transtion?
This is a nice tutorial, well done :) However i think the waterproofing should be done from bottom Up, since every join should be overlapped so there wont be any gaps that can crack in future. This is just my opinion maybe i am wrong...
Does the curb hold a framless glass door weight? Also can you drill through the membrane to secure the the shower panel without ruining the water protection?
Wouldnt anyone know a good resource on how to install a shower into an existing half bathroom thats got the room for it? All the renovation videos i find just replace or fix existing ones.
the construction there looks cute if we compare it to the one in the part of the world i live in, everything there is just wood and that so easy actually to build and to remove, here everything is in concrete so even the little process of removing previous toilllet items would be so hard and so unhealthy without mentioning that the process of building another one is even more difficult and so much more unhealthy. anyway, Great job bro you killed it
Good video I like everything you did other than your choice of shower fau cet . I sell plumbing fixtures for a living and price pfister fixtures do not last

The bare spot on the wall behind the toilet. I'd be taking a sledgehammer to that!
Haha! The joys of what you find through the demolishing process :)

@@BYOTools Thank you!
Great video. Wondering why you didn't take the opportunity to add a ventilation fan in the shower?
Nice work, respect ! 👏 👍
I've never heard anyone pronounce "niche" that way before. Great job on the bathroom!
Nice job! I can’t wait to see it finished. Just wondering but did I miss the ventilation fan?
Wow! I can only dream of this kind of makeover for my bathroom!! Well, I'll hope for it someday too.😁 I'm not healthy enough to do this myself....alas.
Great info, thanks!
You make it look so easy, you near Eugene Or? Would be very happy to pay a pro like you to take care of my 2 showers.

Any tutorial for a soundproof a halway or a neighbor wall? A cheap way that really works?
If I’m using a plastic shower wall, do I have to do all these steps up to the Kerdi?
Great video. Just curious, what’s the shower size?
I never could find the part 2 of this.
sorry for the confusion. Here's a link to part 2. thanks for watching: ruclips.net/video/owRZFYUdjGg/видео.html
Awesome!
What's holding the step in place? Just thinset? That seems like it could be an issue?
The paint rolling machine and the Wagner stream mop machine were can I can buy these products
Does the curb hold a framless glass door weight? Also can you drill through the membrane to secure the the shower panel without ruining the water protection?
Yes and yes shafik. About to get the shower door installed this coming week hopefully.
Wouldnt anyone know a good resource on how to install a shower into an existing half bathroom thats got the room for it? All the renovation videos i find just replace or fix existing ones.
Well I’m second good job
Well Done Reba. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video.
why are you soldering a compression joint? as in the shower valves are threaded for a reason theyre not meant to be soldered
Those pants look mighty nice on you. lol
You may have issues in the future with how you attached your hardie board to the subfloor, other than that looking pretty solid
I like your boots. What is the brand?
They are georgia boots. Love them! bit.ly/3yZ4M6J
the next part is 2 of 3 like always?
the construction there looks cute if we compare it to the one in the part of the world i live in, everything there is just wood and that so easy actually to build and to remove, here everything is in concrete so even the little process of removing previous toilllet items would be so hard and so unhealthy without mentioning that the process of building another one is even more difficult and so much more unhealthy. anyway, Great job bro you killed it
Great work but is this your actual voice?
I chuckled a bit when he said pound town
How come there was no insulation put in?
What size is the shower
How long did this part of the bathroom redo take? Three days?
This is my question too 🤔
First!!!!!!
Well done Mitch! Your on top of it haha! Let me know how I did on my parents bathroom so far :)
I hate dry rot!
The paint roller I can tell, is veeeery heavy when you use it. You carry 22 oz paint when you do very rolling. Lol
Size of shower?
Hot mud number is the time it SETS not the time it dries
Good video I like everything you did other than your choice of shower fau cet . I sell plumbing fixtures for a living and price pfister fixtures do not last
