People love to say Em bodies Hov on this and I agree to some extent but, Hoc’s verses were great as well. Em may have had the tighter rhyme scheme and that’s to be expected. The way Em gets his point across while the flow and rhymes are all perfectly in sync is artistic and scientific all at once. Hov on the other hand came within super visual rhymes while obviously paying more attention to the structure of his bars than usually because Em came with his A game on this one. I love how much insight they gave on their upbringing and backgrounds telling you that they aren’t the perfect role models because of the challenges they faced in their lives. This is a masterpiece however you want to look at it, two goats at their peak coming together to create a timeless classic that will resonate with all the future generations.

This music is really godlike, both Jay and Em went really hard in terms of lyrics and rhyme schemes, it's just straight fire 🔥 plus it is the ultimate proof of eminem's talent as a producer, since he's the one who made entirely this beat. A real masterpiece 👌🔥🔥

First time I heard this track, I was in "who had better bars?" mode. I thought, "Jay's verse was dope, but Em totally kicked ass."
The more I listened to it, the more I realized that *both* were awesome. And, their lyrics go together so well -- talking about the same phenomenon from a different perspective. The artistry is obvious, and this a first-class collaboration.
It illustrates, quite well, that we should listen to the music, not just skim through it. Keep giving us a million dollars worth of insight for $9.99.
