You may want to watch Rocket 2009 playoff R1G1 vs the Blazers which tells us that Yao was unstoppable in 1 on 1 post.

Young Shaq v.s. Olajuwon, late Shaq v.s. Yao Ming, both players were versatile, had great footwork, smooth handling and shooting. There is some consistency in Rockets' history.
