Founding member of the IACP here. I'm really happy to see a video on our little project on a major content creator page. I stepped back because work got really busy, but the current steering committee is incredibly dedicated and I have been very happy with the season 8 cards that are revealed so far. Everyone should go check them out!

In the process of re-invigorating Imperial Assault in my area (Canberra, Aus) with the SW gaming crowd here. It's definitely making a comeback thanks to dedicated fans and especially IACP. They have done so much for the game to keep it fresh and continue making content up to and including the Mandolorian and even Legends. Thanks for continuing to promote SW gaming in all it's awesome different forms =)

Skirmish was never really that Big here in NZ, i think our tournament scenes were like 4-5 players. i came 2nd in the country.
Right now my favourite Star Wars game is legion, but shatterpoint may potentially take over when it comes out
Just started an IA campaign for the first time using the APP. It is sooo much fun. Having a great timr with it.

These all look really great. Love that there is fan content still being made for this game. IA was how I got into Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars products and led me to Legion. I still play IA from time to time with my gaming group. We did the Crisis on Cloud City mini-campaign recently.
Great intro to miniature gaming. Skirmish and campaign modes.
Had a blast seeing this video hope you do more IACP videos and maybe do some Etsy and thingaverse and Mel Miniatures compatible Star Wars miniatures
I’d have to say my favorites of all time are Imperial Assault, X-Wing, Armada and the Star Wars RPG. The reason for the four is that I love telling a story with the SW RPG using all three other games in that story. It’s a challenge but if you have the time it’s a great experience.

Best is still Imperial Assault. In the UK we still play this as a 'champs' event each year at the UK Games Expo (June 2-4). Looking forward to Shatterpoint coming out the same weekend.
Very cool to see some new stuff, even if it’s IACP. I just picked up all the IA stuff from someone that was selling off so it’s neat to have some options for continued play
I know there’s a time consuming part of making new mini’s on a mass scale, but games like these it’s nice when minis can be used close enough in size as well as the 3D printed minis to add some variety
I just bought IA and a few expansions! This game is huge. I could probably play weekly until I die and never see everything. Really awesome that the game isn't dead!
My favorite Star Wars tabletop games, the 3 I own are, Rebellion, Imperial Assault and Outer Rim. I had Xwing 1st Edition but ended up selling it just before 2.0 dropped. I liked that game too.

I've always wanted to get IA, but never did. Maybe this summer I will. My favorite Star Wars game would have to be the old ccg from Decipher. Spent many college nights playing that with my buddies.
Love this game! Still play it with my children. It's also the game that got me into the miniatures hobby.
I love Imperial Assault, trying to get my collection finished (only really just starting so up hill struggle), Think they still do events for it at the UKGE which is always good to see. I need to play it more. It's prob my fave game out there for Star Wars as gives me that RPG feel.

All time favorite... A combo of WEG (West End Games) Miniature Battles/RPG using Wizards of the Coast Star Wars miniatures (before WOC minis... we'd use SW Micro Machines minis).
My only experience with SW tabletop games was IA and loved it. I was definitely interested in Crisis Protocol but I'm not a huge fan of the Marvel IP. So hyped to get back into SW with shatter point. Legion was interesting but the models left something to be desired and never took the plunge.

Favorite Star Wars game currently is Star Wars Destiny. Love the dice! Hopefully that changes to Shatterpoint soon. We have a fair sized group getting into it.

My favourite Star Wars boardgame has to be Rebellion... just so awesome. I'd love Imperial Assault to get some app love. The app for the new HeroQuest is absolutely amazing and allows for some great soloplay too.
Ah, Imperial Assault… the game that took up an entire afternoon: 2 hours to set up all those separate decks, two hours to play, then another two to put everything away. I miss it! Still need to buy the Lothal wave.
For tabletop, I'd have to go with legion. Though I've made my own campaign with the system before and it was alot of fun.
I’d buy those packs if they sell the minis with the cards. IA is such an amazing game, just bought it six month ago and I’m in love with it! Hope they do reprints in other languages too, for now you can only find it new in english
Hi, IACP doesn't actually sell anything, that would be very illegal! We offer pdfs and figure tokens to print out for free, and folks can obtain their own minis to play with them. Legion and Etsy have great minis that fit right alongside IA when put on the correctly sized bases.
I regret finally getting rid of my old copy now, I thought the game was dead 😅
You can still play online without having to rebuy your old content, using Vassal or Tabletop Simulator!
Favorite Star Wars game? X-wing 1.0. Had a lot of good times with the old crew from the FLGS.

Without a doubt, the best starter set for any game. Would have loved them to have completed with Ewoks, but still a great game

My favorite, favorite is probably Imperial Assault. But curse you for making me to pick from my babies! But regarding the video, while I love it when games are continued, I personally love to play the App version of the campaign, so no one needs to be the 'Bad Guy', and I don't see the IACP being able to add their content to that! I would love it of they could, but.
You might want to look up Imperial Commander 2. It's a fan made app that works just like the FFG app but implements all of the book missions from all of the campaigns.

never really got into the IACP skirmish side. Just give me a big book of Campaigns for players who have everything. using units from all expansions. my campaign group have been playing for 8 years now
I never understood why they separated Legion and Imperial Assault. They should have such just spun off Legion as an Imperial Assault: Legion Tactical Standalone + ImpAssExpansion. Would have helped both games imho where people can use the minis for both games. Similar to how Warhammer minis are multi-purpose. They could have sold a "Codex" and Card Decks for the Imp Assault minis and would have been fine with it.
Some people prefer measuring stick wargames, and some prefer snap to grid. The problem, I think, is that they made the premises so similar.
Imperial assault is my favorite. Unfortunately I still have a way to go to finish my collection

I prefer Imperial Assault over Legion. I think the man reason is that I don't like needing to assemble the miniatures. I also don't have the space!

I was a heavy Imperial Assault player. Won a store championship and got an invite to the world championship which would have been the last one, but Covid happened and it never went ahead.
The game is dead. FFG killed it when they launched Legion.
I love the game, own at least 1 of everything released but have zero interest in the IACP.
I will just play campaigns at home now.
