If I were a top 10 bodybuilder I’d pay mike to follow me around. Or talk to a sponsor to help pay. Don’t know why no one hires him. The Kai and victor ones are great. I wish there was a new one.
Several reasons, I think. First I am not actively pursuing bodybuilding videos. I felt I've said all I wanted to say in that world. And my knees and back can't take shooting all day like I used to. (I'm 62 now) 2. Most bodybuilders (or people generally) don't like my fly-on-the-wall style of showing everything, the good and the BAD. They want their video to be heroic and life just doesn't work that way all the time. 3. I'm old fashioned. I don't shoot to make disposable TIK TOK videos that are forgotten in a day. I shoot to create documentaries that can be watched over and over. Not many people are interested in making that or watching that these days. But I do appreciate your kind comments and if a company wanted to sponsor a new Mike Pulcinella bodybuilding doc and put the money behind it for me to hire a shooting crew I'd be up for the challenge.
Needles to say that Phil was in great shape, but what also helped was the dark background and great lightening. Every contest should be like this.
