I was listening to this on my headphones, with my eyes closed (taking it all in). When I opened my eyes, halfway through the song, one of my kittens was sitting on my laptop, totally tripping out on the video & trying to catch all the floating balls. She couldn't figure out where all the balls went, when the video ended. Haha. Damn cat stepped on the keys when it ended and froze my computer for a bit, but it was still entertaining. Damn, this was a nostalgic band, I listen to Finger Eleven since I was 3, and I remember hearing this song called Slow Chemical, but when I got the 2007 album when it came out, I listen to it so much to the point I invite my old childhood friends over to my house and we jammed to it loud as possible

I saw these guys live at RedRocks Natural amphitheater Denver Colorado. WAS AMAZING to here this song with giant mountains and epic views all around you! Will always dig this song.
I don't see anyone "relentlessly" making uplifting songs. It's there for a reason--to encourage the discouraged. One time when I was playing an online Wii game, I was discouraged because I couldn't beat this one guy at all and I tried hard! I was also chatting on Xbox Live and this person who was there uplifted me. When I heard him, I did SO MUCH better. I know this is slightly different, but it was encouraging just as this song is. Imagine if you were in that same (or similar) situation.
