@@God-ch8lq Blazing Bull is a bit tricky I just ran around until the perfect moment to thrust and chip away at his health and also using the firecrackers to chip in some more damage.
Yeah I really don't know. People tend to rank Sekiro pretty consistently at 1 or 2, but it's been the easiest Fromsoft game for me. The first hour was brutal, but when it clicked I finished & immediately ran it back on ng+ giving Kuro back his charm & takin the demon bell. That playthrough took a hell of a lot longer, but that added enormously to how much I just loved Sekiro.

Dont know about demon souls, but ds2 runback are hell, like malenia did not give me as much trouble(died around 150 times to her because i refused to try ranged options like night sorceries and spirit ashes) because its so slow and enemies litterally gangbang you
@@aYiN_N0N3xTeNc3 Demon Souls runbacks are as awful as those in DS2/DS2 scholar. There's 16 boss in the entire game and for most of them you have to run through an entire level each time you wanna fight them, Flamelurker without cat's ring is pure hell since you have to go down a hole and take so many fall damage It's not as bad as the Iron Keep or the frigid outskirts but it's still annoying to have to run for at least 2 minutes each time you die to a boss
Demon souls run backs were hell on earth there was a poison swamp that covered the whole ass map where there was a thousand enemies and you can only dodge in four directions, fuck that swamp.
The reason why ds1 is the hardest isn't combat or anything, it's actually how desperate you are due to not being able to fast travel. The feeling of being stuck in Blightown for the first time just doesn't have any comparison
I find the first one the easiest of the trilogy, the exploration is simple and i am one that triest to completely clear every area in blind with no guides, in the third game each area has a lot of depth and such a high complexity in its structure, ds1s more complex area, is seath's archive, and is isn't close to ds3 top 5 complex areas
Have time for Christ? Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless. ❤❤

For me Sekiro is the coolest and hardest ,when you feel the game it was so badass when you parry the boss man ,like holy ,im feeling like an main character for once
Its an entire game focused on parry, dodge is trash and the sthealth is pretty boring, you parry everyone in this game because is the only mechanic this game really have, the arms doesent work in a lot of enemys and you cant use the grappling hook in 90% of the battles and bosses, sekiro is by far one of the most overrated recent games, just because people love ninja/samurai bullshit😂, i mean, the game doesent have any impact, when you hit someone you fell like your sword is made of plastic and you are cutting butter, any different armor and weapons etc, very generic compared to any other from software game, i never will understand why people loves this game so much, and i finish sekiro 2 times, nioh is way better and its an indie game lol
@@Marisco_s How is the game entirely focused on parry when there are dodges, jumps, jump kicks, Mikiri counters, prosthetics and abilities? And dodge doesn't suck. In fact you can defeat bosses without parrying even once, and dodging instead.
Sekiro is definitely the hardest on a first playthrough but it's so satisfying to replay. That boss rush feature is the best addition to any Souls game because I just keep coming back to fight Isshin over and over again.
fr, when you're able to memorize isshins move... it's one of the most fun things ever especially the lightning reversal, makes you feel like a main character 😏🍷
I think a list like this is really tricky to make. It really comes down to what order you played the games in. By the time I got to DS1 I had already beaten Sekiro, Bloodborne, DS3, and Elden Ring so it felt like the easiest game out of all of them. That being said I think this list is pretty well thought out so great job!
Idk why is everyone talking that Gael is hard after beating Friede Sister, Midir and the Nameless King or these 3 demons in the DS3 dlc I did Gael on 1st time easily
I think that the reason sekiro is so difficult is because up until that point, we’d been primed to dodge as much as could and generally just avoid attacks at all costs. This worked for me until I got to genichiro, then hit a brick wall. He’s a great early game boss that forces you to learn the combat system. I must’ve died to him 50 times trying to brute force it, whereas now he’s not even a challenge. That’s also part of the reason it’s my favourite from soft game. It’s the most rewarding imo in terms of feeling like you’re improving at the game. I think it’s so poetic that your first proper encounter with genichiro, for most players was a colossal challenge and yet, by the final boss, he’s literally the easiest phase of sword saint that you won’t really die to.
It's the only game they did their absolute best to make it cheese less and require skill. Sure there was a few things you could cheese when it came out but 90% of it was patched
Do you think someone who starts with sekiro may have an easier time with it, then let's say someone who started playing dark souls and decided to change things up and play sekiro?
@@epicdude0988 fr i actually struggled a lot with my first encounter with a mini-boss but till the point of meeting genichiro i learnt how to be better and practically explored the whole senpo temple and was close to finding the big monkey so Genichiro wasn't that tough even tho his fight is amazing
Ds3 was my first souls, ill never forget sulyvan, gael and all those bosses that made my soul leave my body, in my opinion,it has the best and most difficult bosses in the soulsborn saga.
Dark souls three is one of my personal favorites because it got difficulty, progression, and aesthetic so perfect out of all of the games. Something about the world just feels so real, but I also understand why the linear levels could be seen as a negative, but I also enjoyed the simplicity as it really allows you to explore each level to its full depth
I feel like it's the optimal Souls experience in my opinion for having less frustration in the levels and most of the challenges coming from the enemies and bosses. It also compensates for that by making your character feel stronger and faster than in previous entries. Combine that with the best environments, best bosses, best music, and best DLC, and you have a beast of a game.
@@reeseboreman1233 First off, Lothric Castle, really? It was less stuffed than Boletarian Palace and Drangleic Castle. Narrowing it down to Irithyll Dungeon and Farron Keep, I agree those are the two most frustrating areas (along with MAYBE Catacombs of Carthus and Cathedral of the Deep), but those are a minority of the areas. Dark Souls II and earlier had more areas that were frustrating, and even Bloodborne took a few missteps in its areas. The only reason I found Sekiro the least frustrating for areas is because of the verticality.
@@ZA-lv8baI completely agree with this. Everyone is always criticizing DS3 for being “too linear” but who said linearity was a bad thing? In DS1 I sometimes struggled to find out where to go, it’s like a metroidvania sometimes but less well done, like getting the key to lower undead berg. I didn’t even know that door was there until I looked up a video. DS3 is just free of that frustration, and I can see some people liking the fact they can go to super late game levels early but for me and most people that’s just not a huge appeal.
@Ahmad Adnan once you get the timing, they become incredibly easy, depending in your build in DS3, some of them become almost impossible, try beating the demons with i pyro build
Sekiro is a difficulty I'm divisive about. Some people will tell you it's the easiest game, others the hardest. I'm in the former. I've beat the game 11x, and I'll tell you that even on the first playthrough, as soon as Sekiro clicks (either by Genichiro or slightly later), it becomes brain dead easy. Even bosses like Isshin are not that hard, and regular bosses are child's play. The only genuine challenge is the Demon of Hatred and the Gauntlets, but those can be learned as well. Sekiro's difficulty hinges on the skill of the player, more so than any other game. If the player learns how to deflect, it's easy, if not, then it's impossible. It's a rhythm game. If for whatever reason anyone reading this is struggling with Sekiro, learn to count enemy patterns and deflects. The timing for the parrys are also generally incredible forgiving. You could press the button a second late and it will still typically deflect.
In dark souls one, there was no teleporting until halfway through so you had to remember and walk the entire map if you wanted to navigate it. I'd also say that the increased speed in 3 can also make things challenging if you had gotten used to the slower speeds of 1 and really slow speed of 2. Then again in Bloodborne you had no real defense system and Sekiro is difficult for a lot of reasons so they all have their own mechanics that make things their own brand of difficult
sekiro is the most rewarding game imo once you get good first time I fought isshin it took me over 12 tries now I rarely even get hit by the guy learning movesets and areas is really fun in the game thanks to the unique gameplay
My first game from FromSoftware was Dark Souls 2 and man, it blew me away with its difficulty and I have never played any game since that with the same difficulty
ive started it recently. Im only in the forest of giants rn but do far its not bad at all. I havent had any problems with enemy placement or snything yet really maybe later on ill change my mind
@@_.shinchi._ DS2 is my favorite Dark Souls, and the favorite of many people, amazing game. A lot of haters talk bullshit just because the game wasn't made by Miyazaki. And for me is the easiest souls game.
My list, I’ve played through each game 10 times. (Besides Sekiro, one time) (THIS IS A OLDER LIST) 7: Demons Souls 6: Dark Souls 3 5: Dark souls 1 4: ELDEN RING 3: Dark Souls 2 2: Sekiro 1: Bloodborne Why Bloodborne? Bloodborne is the hardest game imo because the game is a faster paced dark souls, the start of the game is very difficult to get going and even after playing through the game multiple times, I still find ways to die. Gascoine as your second or first boss is tough, especially if you are new to the series. Edit: After playing through more I decided to change my list 7: Demons Souls 6: Dark Souls 3 5: Dark souls 1 4: ELDEN RING 3: Bloodborne 2: Dark souls 2 1: Sekiro
Honestly surprised people struggle with DS1. It's literally the easiest by a margin. You don't have to try to get op, just using a decent shield will get you far
I agree… I played it after elden ring, bloodborne and ds3 and going to ds1 was actually pretty easy. I wonder if for long time players they just remember their first experience, but if they were to go back maybe they’d feel differently.
Can be quite punishing tho, got stuck in catacombs my first playthrough and had to restart, also played through most of depths cursed not knowing how to fix it. Definitely one of the easier ones once you get good but it is quite brutal for new players. I know people who mastered elden ring but cannot play ds1, it's a different kind of brutal.
sekiro is so damn hard for its learning curve. just finished my second playthrough and it was so much easier after everything clicked, but even then i struggled with some fights (guardian ape and demon of hatred specifically)

My first ER playthrough was funny. I used a strength build the whole game until radagon. I did a respec for faith….. took me a while to get the Elden beast….
sekiro was the easiest for me because the combat just clicked easily. there’s a lot of ways to easily bring down a posture bar (mikri counter, jump-stomp, shinobi tools, etc.) and the parrying was super straightforward. never had too hard of a time on it. my hardest was elden ring because i hate using summons. it feels like i’m cheating the boss in some way for myself. i don’t hate on other people for it, but it’s just not my style
Personal ranking: -7: Demon’s souls: although it has long levels, the combat system, enemies and bosses are relatively simple, while sometimes it mat be frustrating. Also it has grass stacking and even with half health is still manageable so, i don’t get all the challenge. -6: Dark Souls 3. Best game for begginers and a linear yet beautiful gameplay. The areas are a cakewalk, the real challenges are bosses. But with the right weapon (like the longsword, the greatsword or the Sellsword Twinblades) and some help, you’ll be able to grind through this game. Also the movement is way faster and controllable than its predecessors. -5: Elden Ring. This could be your easiest souls gameplay experience ever or a straight up nightmare. It all depends by your character and gear level. As long as you’re doing things good, your adventure would be pretty enjoyable, despite the complex movements of bosses and the difficulty of some areas. Also, the advantage of being an open world and giving you the opportunity to ride a horse whenever you want, gives you more freedom on your gameplay progression. And there are many ways to get op in this game. Just don’t give up, it will take a while to finish the game. -4: Dark Souls 1. The areas are the general hard part of these games, and some bosses being the notorious blocks that keep players from going on. The enemies are pretty simple but do a hell lot of damage. Also, combat system is clumsy and harder to control and the world structure is very infamous to new players. If you know where you’re going and what you’re doing tho, it will be passable. If not, well, prepare to die. Also, there are a lot of ways to get OP, in this game, such like Black Knight Weapons or Sorcery. -3: Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 2 is just an enhanced Dark Souls 1 and you can’t deny it. Way clunkier combat and animations, easy ganks, unfair bossfights, stronger enemies and a progressive HP decrease each time you die if that wasn’t enough. Despite the vary health-ware system and number of good builds, this game is not joke. Seriously. Two advices tho: LEVEL ADP AND USE SORCERIES/HEXES. -2: Bloodborne: Clean gameplay with a smooth parrying system helps you a lot in this hell of a nightmare. On the other hand though, this game is why you call it as that. The healing system is minimal, there are punishing bosses that have many unpredicatble moves, enemies on drugs and some of the hardest areas in the series. -1: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: Do I even have to explain this? God, i’m not touching this game anymore until i’m mentally prepared enough.
Wtf demon souls being ranked last is crazy Having played all the games I still think demon souls is one of not the most annoying ass game I played I really just did not have any fun with it since the levels are so brutal and you just kill the bosses first try since most if not all of them are so easy
Starting a new game plus on Sekiro and trying to see how far you can get without dying, has to be one of the best things I ever experienced with gaming
I completely agree❤ I played all souls games. But this one has that Fast paced gameplay which makes me wanna replay it again and again even though there's no DLC
Sekiro has the most addicting n fun comeback once you get the hang of it but then once you get amazing at it n can switch quickly between tools n put tool n special arts combos together it becomes a whole new level of gaming
I did it the other way around and found DSR to feel extremely easy and felt Elden Ring was harder 😅 Though not being able to fast travel in DSR is a pain lol

Pure meele build makes Elden Ring the hardest? Dude with Guts sword upgraded to the max(we talking spending time to level your self and equipment up)with the right build literally demolishes bosses with absolute ease.
Elden ring's difficulty spike only happens at mountain tops in the giant, you can literally cake walk the entire first half of the game. Pure melee definitely makes it harder I'd say but I still think its probably one of the easiest fromsoft games. DLC made the game a lot harder in every aspect but still brought down by how you can cake walk half of the game lol

All of them are easy the second time around it’s always the first play through that’s the hardest and I think sekiros first play through is the hardest
This was a super interesting take on game difficulty and not just bog standard opinions, which I have mad respect for! I LOVE how you noted the levels as sooo many people entirely neglect to mention them. One thing I do miss from early souls is emphasis on level difficulty, epically playing Demon's Souls now. I personally find levels way more important than bosses just due to the time you spend in them compared to time spent fighting bosses.
The feeling when sekiro was my first fromsoft game! I was stuck on genichiro for 2 weeks man! But after him the combat clicked for me, and when I learned to implement the prosthetic I was almost beating bosses first try, I actually defeated the monk first for example! Favourite game
I’d put elden ring as the easiest. Open world and the mount made the game very simple imo. Never struggled the whole way, which is why I got burnt out on it.
Play it like it's DS1, mainly solo melee combat, and it's miles harder. Even with good weapons it's super difficult, I've never leaned into magic much I any of the games so I just instinctually play elden ring this way and it stays much more interesting this way from what I've seen and heard.
@@lileofficial4273 absolutely not true. Status effects are just broken in ER. It's still a bit difficult for newcomers, but all the fromsoft games are. ER is the easiest If a new player uses literally anything from rot to bleed the game is 100x easier. In previous games status effects were pretty situational and mostly for pvp.
@@twistedmetal15 yes and no, you still gotta be decent to apply status effect to a degree that they will help. If your gonna use the dragon breath to cheese the game you have to make alot of sacrifices in your build or grind mindlessly for hours to way over level, which isn't an elden ring exclusive problem. Yea I'd definitely agree it's the easiest for new comers, but I never said anything about newcomers. Elden ring is the objectively harder game if you played it to a similar style as a dark souls knight.
@@lileofficial4273 "sacrifices in your build" not really. Firstly, an efficient build doesn't matter at all unless you plan on partaking in PvP, which most newcomers don't really PvP, and for the ones that do, you can respec. Rot lasts so long and does so much damage already on the low end you can successfully cheese most of the game with minimal effort. And even as a dark souls knight, using bleed makes it sooooo much easier. Still hard at points but I'd still call it the easiest.
"Sekiro has a steep learning curve", but once you figure out the combat system it's actually a lot easier than most of the souls games. For me personally, the hardest should have gone to Dark Souls II.
Good list but pure melee Elden Ring is still easier then every other souls game. There are so many incredibly good weapons like the Greatsword which staggers everything insanely quickly and does a ton of damage.
I dont think so, I do find Dark souls and 2 way easier then Elden, but I say this only because they are old and the moveset of bosses is short due the Hardware that they had at the time.

In my honest opinion, the ability to persevere and platinum these titles is a challenge in itself. I had recently defeated watchdog of the old lords within the defiled chalice in Bloodborne and had nearly made me give up after the approx. 25th or so attempt. I have made it through some of the old hunters dlc and hope to complete all of its trophies before finalising the main game.

Finally someone realizes that if you miss one parry or you don’t manage your stamina correctly you’ll end up dying in like 2 hits. All the other souls games have a pretty good way of making sure this doesn’t happen or the bosses have pretty well telegraphed moves.
@@patriksvensson2360 you can’t have good posture without stamina. @@Aod_jaguar Yes. I made a one word comment correcting the mechanic used in the game. It was totally unnecessary as everyone with a semi-functional brain (me included) still knows what you meant, but I was bored and had the time. Sorry about that. While true, it's irrelevant to the game mechanics that does not use stamina (at least in the same way as other FS games). Your posture is unaffected by slashing away, dodging and running in Sekiro. Stamina is not a factor.
My favourite parry in sekiro is against the guardian/headless ape where he winds up and slithers to stand straight and brings the sword down and the sound of the clash rings through the room as sekiro is pushed back and the giant just tumbles over. So cool
Acho o 1° bem fácil até, não é nem questão dele não ser um jogo difícil mas sim que ele é velho, foi um salto geracional imenso, a dificuldade iria mudar muito também.
Sekiro is actually very different and badass than other games on the list because instead of dodging and running from the attacks of someone stronger than you, you go head to head with your enemies and finish them while they were still flabbergasted about their defeat
My ranking (from easiest to hardest) is ds1, Elden ring, ds2, ds3, BloodBorne and Sekiro (haven’t played demon souls and keep in mind I played ds3 as my first soulsborne game so I am biased.)
Before i played soulsborn games, i was playing parry-based games with dodging as an alternative to parry. Which is why i played sekiro first, then the ds series. (I beat sekiro 3 times in a couple weeks and had to unlearn everything to learn how to dodge in the ds series) But fr the entire journey was fun and was definitely a high point in life.
Great list, especially on Demon's and DSII emphasizing levels as the difficulty. I'd say DS1's difficulty lies in fewer/better hidden upgrade materials, certain bosses being very difficult (O&S, DLC, bed of chaos), more punishing platforming sections (Anor Londo, Blighttown, Tomb of the Giants) and imo fewer totally broken equipment available early on (Just grass crest, zweihander, halberd and claymore, BKH is a rare drop).
I struggled more with margit on my first elden ring playthrough than sword saint ishiin on my first sekiro play through. I 5hink the first soulsborne game you play will be the hardest, the feeling i got when souls games just clicked for me was unlike any other.
My rankings are 6th: ds1 (i played it so much already) 5th: sekiro (i played games similar to it already 4th: ds3 (easy level but amazing boss) 3rd: ds2 (not fun, but not extremely hard) 2nd: bloodborne (vial grind go brr, and runbacks) 1st: elden ring (this is excluding all broken stuff) Ive never played DeS because i dont have a ps5
Because Sekiro was my first Souls game I had a brutal first playthrough. I actually struggled more on NG+ fighting regular Isshin than Sword Saint; it was the umbrella prosthetic that helped me finally beat regular Isshin. Then I played DS3 next, admittedly fought a lot of the bosses co-op in my first playthrough because I was so used to Sekiros play style. In Elden Ring I struggled with Radahn, Maliketh & Malenia. I found Placidusax & Mohg easy though.
So this is my rank: 1 Ds3 (bruuuuuuuh every fucking enemy and boss cant be quiet for 2 seconds, to the point that they move so fast that some enemys dont even make sense when they are moving, in fact so fast that you cant even put any kind of buff to yourself without getting knocked up by a dagger, also... the magic and every kind of weapon that isnt a fast one is just ass) 2 Sekiro (not many mechanics to exploit, and you have to posses good reflexes and prediction of the attacks, the good part is that you dont have to worry abouy a meta since you always use the same weapon and upgrade it) 3 Ds2 (some easy bosses, some hard bosses, areas itself are plagued of enemys which makes it difficult to progress, plus the fact that magic is very nerfed in this game, but it exist power stance and almost every weapon is very balanced so its a good advantage) 4 Bloodborne (if you know how to be agressive then you are winning, if you play defensivly you are fucked up) 5 DeS (ez bosses but very hard areas, you dont have many exploits to do in this game because it was the first one, but once you find the pattern is really not that difficult but if you fall on dark tendency prepare your ass because its getting whiped till is purple) 6 Ds1 (areas are medium hard and bosses the same, but there are some mechanics that you can exploit making the game much easier like the zweihander at the begginig or the poise) 7 elden ring (ashes and various mechanics exploits which are overpowered that can make the game much easier)
For me sekiro was really hard up until Genichiro when I finally learned how the combat flow actually worked and from then on I never really struggled with any other boss. Still a marvellous game, fromsoft never disappoints!
I’ve played every game but ds2 but demons souls is the only game I’ve quit because the areas are so annoying and tedious the bosses may be easy but the areas definitely make up for it
As someone who beat elden ring 4 times and is still playing dark souls three, I can definitely say that elden ring is easier. I can also confirm that dark souls three is alot more fun if you know what you are doing. But as you have your opinion I have mine
Sekiro is my favorite absolute masterpiece. Its definitely one of the hardest if not the hardest but once you've learned how to play it becomes relatively easy and most fun for sure.
People always forget that when you start sekiro, whether you take Kuro's Charm or not will completely alter the difficulty. Taking chip damage through block makes the game way more punishing on your mistakes, and definitely makes it the hardest game in the series to me. But WITH Kuro's Charm, it's really quite forgiving if you miss the parry timing, as you only take posture damage, making DS3 and BB harder imo. (Havent played a souls game older than BB)
I mean at first sekiro is hard but i adapted super fast and then i think it became the easiest souls game ive played yet, like i would rather fight any boss from sekiro than go through some cursed level in ds2
i kinda put it like this and so many others do as well. Your first run of sekiro is hard really hard but everyone run after that is genuinely easy the gameplay is so much different than other games but once you get it down the game becomes quite easy
I just got back into elden ring and finally beat it this weekend. Melee build up until the fire giant and castle of sol. When I got back in switched to faith/ strength. So much better 😊
Bloodborne’s my first FromSoft game, so I have no prior experience with other games like it. I admit that I suck at the game, but to me, there’s nothing wrong with that.
I have beaten Elden Ring and Sekiro and I think Elden ring is a harder game overall. but if you take a single boss it might be harder. for me hardest boss from sekiro was Isshin the sword saint but I still managed to beat him. Elden Ring has more unique bosses with more boss fights so in my opinion overall (all bosses and NPCs) Elden ring is harder but if we take a single boss and compare it to an Elden Ring's boss I think Sekiro wins cuz Elden Ring has many builds which means more glitches and boss cheeses with OP builds but I still think that overall elden ring is harder. plus once you know how Sekiro mechanics work it gets much easier for example when I first fought Genichiro while Sekiro got his hand cut off I died in a matter of seconds but after I went for the #2 playthrough I defeated him like he was another normal npc (can't say same about Elden ring) plus in Sekiro you can come alive from death for 1-time at least which makes a huge difference because in Elden ring if you mess something up it's all over.
Im proud i completed sekiro 7 times and is still playing 8th. Its my first from soft games too. This game is way too amazing, im planning to do surpass 100 playthroughs till Dragon’s Dogma 2 comes out
The moment i see sekiro :
"I expect none less from you my boy"
"Death of a shadow.. You taught me well."
“farewell”
"That's... my boy!"
*SHINOBI EXECUTION*
Hesitation is failure…
“So long”
When you get good at sekiro the combat just feels so fluid and satisfying and not to mention how good it feels when you finally get that deathblow.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. That being said I think this list is pretty well thought out so great job!

@@hydroshock1853 Less frusation in level design? Did you froget farron keep, irthyill dungeon and lothric Castle?
The linearity is a plus in my opinion. I hate the options that ds1 and ds2 give you
@@ZA-lv8baI completely agree with this.

Then again in Bloodborne you had no real defense system and Sekiro is difficult for a lot of reasons so they all have their own mechanics that make things their own brand of difficult
sekiro is the most rewarding game imo once you get good

I was stuck on blazing bull for at least an hour in Sekiro. I can see why it can be considered the hardest.
Personal ranking:
-7: Demon’s souls: although it has long levels, the combat system, enemies and bosses are relatively simple, while sometimes it mat be frustrating.
Wtf demon souls being ranked last is crazy

I personally find sekiro to be a breeze sure my first play through was a bit rough but I find the rhythm and fast pacing is more up to my speed.
Agree
All of them are easy the second time around it’s always the first play through that’s the hardest and I think sekiros first play through is the hardest
This was a super interesting take on game difficulty and not just bog standard opinions, which I have mad respect for! I LOVE how you noted the levels as sooo many people entirely neglect to mention them. One thing I do miss from early souls is emphasis on level difficulty, epically playing Demon's Souls now. I personally find levels way more important than bosses just due to the time you spend in them compared to time spent fighting bosses.
Great seeing a unique list! Very different order from mine but you gave great points respect
I definitely agree sekiro is the hardest because in my first playthought I almost gave up but in your second playthought it becomes kind of easier
Becomes way easier. Only thing that’s a challenge after you beat it is the inner versions of owl, isshin and geni
Never struggled the whole way, which is why I got burnt out on it.
same. Certain bosses were definitely challenging but even then like I found friede harder than malenia truth be told
ER is the easiest
If a new player uses literally anything from rot to bleed the game is 100x easier.
(And they usually do anyway)
All u need is minimum amount of faith and arcane for the breath.
"I guess shadows really die twice"

Good list but pure melee Elden Ring is still easier then every other souls game. There are so many incredibly good weapons like the Greatsword which staggers everything insanely quickly and does a ton of damage.
Well stagger system didnt changed a lot tbh. Elden ring have lotta cheese so if u dont use em mobs and bosses are considerably harder.

I dont think so, I do find Dark souls and 2 way easier then Elden, but I say this only because they are old and the moveset of bosses is short due the Hardware that they had at the time.

This is actually a solid list! Here’s my opinion.
Easiest-demon souls
Dark souls 1
Elden ring
Dark souls 2
Dark souls 3
Blood borne
Hardest-Sekiro
Honestly I only played demons souls and playing bloodborne rn and I felt a noticeable difficulty drop from demons souls to bloodborne, after I killed rom I feel like there was a difficulty spike but it's overall not quite as hard as demons souls was yet imo
@@Actiontime70 yeah people underestimate demon souls difficulty a lot as the levels are the main challenge instead of the bosses, I understand why people may find demon souls harder than blood borne but what I think is difficult about blood blonde is how damn fast paced it is!
Sekiro is honestly the only game I quit on but then months later I didn't want to give up on it. My friend helped me with the game

Sekiro was the first from software games where the combat was actually more skill based than memorization that's why
No bloodborne was and still has the most challenging and most satisfying souls combat system
Followed by elden ring and then sekiro
The funny thing is that I would probably do your rank list backwards. Other than seriko being swapped to the 3rd best
its not best its hardest
@@absoluteBingus I'm an idiot
@@absoluteBingus reversing the list but keeping Sekiro at 1st would still make a better list. The older games are all much easier than the newer ones.
I agree the fact that i beat sekiro without co op summons was unreal. It reminded me of devil may cry 1 dante must die mode ps1 era. Thats how many years it took for me to find a hard game like this
Finally someone realizes that if you miss one parry or you don’t manage your stamina correctly you’ll end up dying in like 2 hits. All the other souls games have a pretty good way of making sure this doesn’t happen or the bosses have pretty well telegraphed moves.
*posture
@@patriksvensson2360 you can’t have good posture without stamina. Going as far as to put stamina instead of posture isn’t that much of a change considering you need one of them to make the other function properly. In fact you can’t do anything in the world without stamina. Besides a select few things.
@@Aod_jaguar What are you on about, mate? I made the assumption that you were referring to Sekiro in your comment and I, quite unnecessarily to be fair, pointed out that stamina isn't a thing in that game, but posture is.
@@patriksvensson2360 wait so you point out that you unnecessarily made that comment but also ask me what I’m on about? Ok man.
Also all I did was point out that Sekiro logically can’t have posture if he doesn’t have stamina.
For me
7 Dark Souls 3
6 Elden Ring
5 Sekiro
4 Demon’s souls
3 Bloodborne
2 Dark Souls
1 Dark Souls 2
Sekiro 5 ?!?!?!?!?!
@@zenitsuagatsuma5769 I played it after DS3 so I was a parry god by then, still wasn’t the easiest since it’s still Fromsoft.
My favourite parry in sekiro is against the guardian/headless ape where he winds up and slithers to stand straight and brings the sword down and the sound of the clash rings through the room as sekiro is pushed back and the giant just tumbles over. So cool
Hearing Gaels second phase OST in the background Is 🔥
Sekiro is actually very different and badass than other games on the list because instead of dodging and running from the attacks of someone stronger than you, you go head to head with your enemies and finish them while they were still flabbergasted about their defeat
My ranking (from easiest to hardest) is ds1, Elden ring, ds2, ds3, BloodBorne and Sekiro (haven’t played demon souls and keep in mind I played ds3 as my first soulsborne game so I am biased.)
midir in my mind: are you serius?
Before i played soulsborn games, i was playing parry-based games with dodging as an alternative to parry. Which is why i played sekiro first, then the ds series. (I beat sekiro 3 times in a couple weeks and had to unlearn everything to learn how to dodge in the ds series)
But fr the entire journey was fun and was definitely a high point in life.
for me as non spirit user and mainly melee combat elden ring was by far the most difficult and frustrating one
The thing with sekiro tho is once u get passed the learning curve it becomes a cake walk
My rankings are
6th: ds1 (i played it so much already)
5th: sekiro (i played games similar to it already
4th: ds3 (easy level but amazing boss)
3rd: ds2 (not fun, but not extremely hard)
2nd: bloodborne (vial grind go brr, and runbacks)
1st: elden ring (this is excluding all broken stuff)
Ive never played DeS because i dont have a ps5
Because Sekiro was my first Souls game I had a brutal first playthrough. I actually struggled more on NG+ fighting regular Isshin than Sword Saint; it was the umbrella prosthetic that helped me finally beat regular Isshin. Then I played DS3 next, admittedly fought a lot of the bosses co-op in my first playthrough because I was so used to Sekiros play style. In Elden Ring I struggled with Radahn, Maliketh & Malenia. I found Placidusax & Mohg easy though.
So this is my rank:
1 Ds3 (bruuuuuuuh every fucking enemy and boss cant be quiet for 2 seconds, to the point that they move so fast that some enemys dont even make sense when they are moving, in fact so fast that you cant even put any kind of buff to yourself without getting knocked up by a dagger, also... the magic and every kind of weapon that isnt a fast one is just ass)
2 Sekiro (not many mechanics to exploit, and you have to posses good reflexes and prediction of the attacks, the good part is that you dont have to worry abouy a meta since you always use the same weapon and upgrade it)
3 Ds2 (some easy bosses, some hard bosses, areas itself are plagued of enemys which makes it difficult to progress, plus the fact that magic is very nerfed in this game, but it exist power stance and almost every weapon is very balanced so its a good advantage)
4 Bloodborne (if you know how to be agressive then you are winning, if you play defensivly you are fucked up)
5 DeS (ez bosses but very hard areas, you dont have many exploits to do in this game because it was the first one, but once you find the pattern is really not that difficult but if you fall on dark tendency prepare your ass because its getting whiped till is purple)
6 Ds1 (areas are medium hard and bosses the same, but there are some mechanics that you can exploit making the game much easier like the zweihander at the begginig or the poise)
7 elden ring (ashes and various mechanics exploits which are overpowered that can make the game much easier)
Actually the only list i 100% agree on.
All souls players have my respect. I know full well I will never have the patience to restart the boss fight hundred of times to have my win.
Easy
Ds2
DeS
Ds1
Ds3
BB
ER
Sekiro
Hard
Very easy to rank, like this guy said if you play ER melee solo it’s hard af
People always forget that when you start sekiro, whether you take Kuro's Charm or not will completely alter the difficulty. Taking chip damage through block makes the game way more punishing on your mistakes, and definitely makes it the hardest game in the series to me. But WITH Kuro's Charm, it's really quite forgiving if you miss the parry timing, as you only take posture damage, making DS3 and BB harder imo. (Havent played a souls game older than BB)
I found sekiro quite easy which i thought was strange considering it was supposed to be alot harder
I'm currently on my first playthrough of Sekiro as my first Souls game and it's hard af
Always said that because you get 2 lives in Sekiro, it gave fromsoft an excuse to make everything twice as hard
Reasonable. Definitely agree with Sekiro. Sword Saint was hard af
I just got back into elden ring and finally beat it this weekend. Melee build up until the fire giant and castle of sol. When I got back in switched to faith/ strength. So much better 😊
The music gives me enraging PTSD
Ds1 is my first fromsoft game! I cant wait to try the others!!!
Elden Ring has more unique bosses with more boss fights so in my opinion overall (all bosses and NPCs) Elden ring is harder but if we take a single boss and compare it to an Elden Ring's boss I think Sekiro wins cuz Elden Ring has many builds which means more glitches and boss cheeses with OP builds but I still think that overall elden ring is harder. plus once you know how Sekiro mechanics work it gets much easier for example when I first fought Genichiro while Sekiro got his hand cut off I died in a matter of seconds but after I went for the #2 playthrough I defeated him like he was another normal npc (can't say same about Elden ring) plus in Sekiro you can come alive from death for 1-time at least which makes a huge difference because in Elden ring if you mess something up it's all over.
dark souls 2 have hard bosses but they are optional end game bosses in ds2 are just ...
