My Grandma has the Game Key Edition Ms. Pac-Man plug-n-play at her house, and every time my mom and I came over to visit, I would go into the guest bedroom and play on Mappy and Ms. Pac-Man to pass the time.
I have this plug-and-play in my collection also. They did a really fantastic job with it. I really like the controller. It was very well-designed indeed!
I remmwber i used to have this console! I played Mappy CONSTANTLY on it. The sound was a little off on all the games (mostly noticed it in Mappy, due to that being my most played game) that made it sound pretty funny.. favorite version of the sped-up soundtrack.
Wow... had no idea there was a game key edition. SO COOL! I have a regular one and it’s kind of greenish, and mine doesn’t retain high scores like the one shown in this video 😭😭 The menu also looks different than on this one. Still love it though! I just gotta take pictures of my high scores
WOw, I have the exact same version of the plug and play you show here. Or so I thought as that cartridge port is not on mine. Wow didn't even know this gamekey version existed.
loved this idea I bought the wrestling one and waited and waited for the game key to come out for it. I don't think it was afailed concept but more of a failed follow thru. they sold tons of the plug and plays with the gamekey options but no gamekeys were ever sold in my area.
I had two of this plug and play consoles. (Mrs Pacman) But ist dont have the game key slot on the Backside, to get more games. Maybe they didn't Release this Version in germany. But nice Video by the way! Thumbs up! ;)
Hmm, Willie, have you tried sourcing out a Namco NeGCon to play it on Namco Museum Vol. 1 on the PS1? It actually works really well! What did NOT work well, was playing Bosconian on that PnP unit, or any of the other one's Jakk's Pacific put out that had. Due to the game needing an eight way joystick, as opposed to the unit's four-way.
I had this one but it got damaged in a flood. I replaced it with the Retro Arcade Pac Man TV Game, similar but with even better controls and 12 games. (Willie reviewed it earlier this year.) I like it a lot... Except it does not have Ms. Pac-Man like the one above!
I like it due to the version of Pole Position that is on it, you use the joystick like a steering wheel (it twists back and forth with auto centering).
Finding one of those grate plugin plays games are hard to find now and I don't like the ones that they are released witch have stupid NES roms like really me and my brother had one like the mis pacman one.
The AI in Pole Position on this system is actually braindead (cars don’t change lanes so it’s pathetically easy to lap them) and for whatever reason your fastest times never get recorded on the TIME column of the leaderboard.
As far as I can see, the graphics on this are about as good as the arcade. But as good as the controls are, they are still a weak point compared to the arcade. Trying to play Galaga on this thing is too slow, compared to the arcade controls.
My stepmother actually owns this game that she had for her own kids, and I'm sometimes able to play it every time I visit her and my dad. :D
This ms pacman plug n play is amazing because it has more games

Mappy is so underrated
I agree with you. I play it all the time.

I remember having this WAAAAAAY back when. Back when I was young.

I had this, I bought it new years eve 2004!
I just bought one & can't wait to get it. I already have the Super Pacman unit which has Pacman, Pacman Plus also Pac & Pal. Big fan here, great video
Nice!
I just bought Ms. Pac Man for the PlayStation 4 yesterday and I like it.
WOw, I have the exact same version of the plug and play you show here. Or so I thought as that cartridge port is not on mine. Wow didn't even know this gamekey version existed.
There is 2 other gamekeys for this console it has New Rally-X ,Dig Dug and Pac-Man, Bosconian and Rally-X on it.
I want this so I can play mappy and Ms pacman and galaga

I didn't know this Jakks unit had a cartridge slot! I'll have to dig manlike out and check it out
There's another game key for this, which has Dig Dug and New Rally-X.
yep, did not have that one to show.
There's also an alternate version of the game key you used, that version has the original Rally-X.
Or, instead of dig dug, its bosconian. And it has qvc arond the corners.
I remember having that one when I was a kid.
@@EdFanSus I Have That One
Very cool - I've seen that plug and play before but had no clue about the gamekey.
9:50 Now-- Oh no, don’t do that, don’t do that. There we go. That was pretty funny 😅
There's also a game key that looks exactly like that one, except it also has Rally X
I just bought a Jakks Pacific Ms Pac Man plag & play today for $40 from ebay. The gamekey version.
cool!
I had two of this plug and play consoles. (Mrs Pacman)

there was another for that one that also included rally x
I don’t have the gamekey version but I have this plug n play
Nice. I'll hafta be on the lookout for one of these, thanks for sharing this video

I have one with with five games on the game key, for a total of ten games.
What are the 5 games
I SUBBED
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
Is there a way to fix the rebound on the pole position ball?
I'm having this problem too, need to find a way to recalibrate the rotational aspect of the joystick
I had this my was missing so I may get a new one
Can you do 2 player mode on Ms Pacman?
Also how would it look on a bigger screen? Too blurry?
not tried it on a big screen, of course I dont have it anymore to even try it :P
Bosconian has same radar as sinistar too

Am I the only one who noticed that the signs are differernt in Pole Position? For one the infamous 'Centipede Turn' sign says Pole Position instead.
Imax Junior Good catch!!
I have this one and the venturer
Is it worth the buy? Or are there any other better ones with Ms. Pacman out there?
I like it due to the version of Pole Position that is on it, you use the joystick like a steering wheel (it twists back and forth with auto centering).
@@SVT512 Thanks!
From what I see, Ms. Pac-Man's facial expressions are missing. Can you help me out? 4:40-5:25
I hope you're trolling
They're selling this on ebay for $25 used.
yep, and I have seen them for 5 bucks at flea markets :P prices are all over the place for them.
mine is the original version

Hello can someone answer a few questions for me about the ms Pac-Man plug and play levels
The AI in Pole Position on this system is actually braindead (cars don’t change lanes so it’s pathetically easy to lap them) and for whatever reason your fastest times never get recorded on the TIME column of the leaderboard.
I found that control for Pac-man Ms-pac man was not that good. The only controller I really liked, so far, was the original arcade machine.
As far as I can see, the graphics on this are about as good as the arcade.
But as good as the controls are, they are still a weak point compared to the arcade.
Trying to play Galaga on this thing is too slow, compared to the arcade controls.
I have one that broke. And these are far from cheap
I recently picked up the one with the wireless controller at the Vintage Stock store for 8 bucks :)
ArcadeUSA Oh, but they were made before I even existed
I had I before I was a little girl!😀
watch me clear some junior boards on this plug and play: ruclips.net/video/nTi4y0tEWJY/видео.html
i almost beat Ms Pac Man
