Just discovered your videos a few days ago. Really well done. I appreciate the comments about your approach to sculpting. So much better than the other types of videos where it is all music and fast motion. It's been over 20 years since I picked up a sculpting tool and your videos have sparked my interest again. I look forward to more videos from you.
hey man i rarely comment but your videos are really cool. i'm actually a transportation design student and starting out with a clay course next week! would be cool to see more videos in the future, really enjoyable while sketching! greetings from sweden
Hey absolutely have been mesmerised by your tutorials and sculptures!!! In fact....I went out and bought water based clay and have started sculpting for the first time because of you so thanks!!! However...Now that I have finished a small sculpture...I want to conserve it for a long time and can't find any alternatives to firing it....can small sculptures withstand just drying normally? Thanks again...you have just gained a real fan man! All the best! ;)
I love your videos! You totally inspired me to go out and get some clay and try this myself! I'm totally loving the challenge! You're right about art stores not having much in the way of sculpting tools. I was able to get a wood knife, and a loop tool, but I'm wondering what are those spatula looking tools you're using? Might use the web to get something like that. Seems handy. Looking forward to the next tutorial! Great work!
Also, Do you ever do molds and casts of your sculptures? Would love a tutorial on how to do that, if I ever get good enough to produce something I'd like to keep/reproduce. Thanks!
That's awesome! It's always amazing when you first start where you can see what your hands are capable of. The spatula thing is a wood pallet knife (I list my materials in this video here if you want to take a look: ruclips.net/video/_wg-ejixB8k/видео.html). And unfortunately I haven't mastered the casting process yet. I just let me sculptures sit out when they're done and give them a good dusting occasionally.
Great work, the anatomy looks good from forehead to jaw! Thank you for the tip on using the plastic bag for fine details, glad picked something here! Just wonder if you will be doing any video using water base clay for a full size sculpture head? Thanks
hi i love your work Elliot ur videos have helped me tons.iv started doing this and its actually going well. What clay do u use?? I'm using newplast and its really nice to work with but don't set, and iv tried das clay and it seems to fluffy to work with and really messy any advice would be great . Thanks
Great instruction and another amazing sculpture. I would only ask one thing of you and that being finding another word for you sculpt holder because some people may find the one your using now disturbing. Cheesy sounds so much better lol.
Very nice learning video. Question, you set up the sculpture on a piece of wood, but the wood is not painted. Is this just for demonstration? Because I think the wood should be painted before you set up the sculpture on top.
Colldoff well. They do harden to some extent by getting cold. But yeah only way is make a mold and make a copy of it in some plaster or some silicone or epoxy
Greetings from Greece. Please can someone tell me what it the spray that is hardening the clay? Compressed air spray or something different. I have ordered the same clay and i want to be prepared. Thanks a lot.
This is shitty advice, but I don't keep mine clean to be honest. They don't seem to be collecting too much dust right now but I think you can wipe it down with water very gently.
I freaking love your commentary during your tutorial! I feel I can do this! Thank you!!

Hey man, feel free to talk during your videos, even if you feel like you're being redundant. Bob Ross did it, and Bob Ross was the man.
One of the best demonstration videos ever I watched !Thank you sir! after the making how it preserved for future? because its never dry quality !!

I hope the guy will find his partner soon.
I love your tutorial. You are a master.
Love your stuff, I would love to put a collection of your small busts/figures in bronze around my house
Can you please make Pargete's date reacting to Lazlo's ranting and obscenities?
I love your videos and creativity.
Morning friend. Thank you for this video tutorial.. 🎉🎉🎉

You can try using sculpey clay, that stuff gets baked in a toaster oven. ( one not used for food)
Or if you use oil based clay you can make a mold for it
You can seal those with Gel Effects Medium if its air dry clay, see chromaonline.com

Marveilleux! Tu es un maître.
Amazing .
Claymaker, do you fire these sculptures?

I miss ur videos :(
Oh my god this is so good it needs more likes
Jym E. Changa jeez I was just saying that he deserved more likes some people get triggered so easily pathetic

Do you fire your work?
CLAYMAKER's voice sounds like Tony Robbins.
How much clay was used in this video? And how long did it take?
Great sculpt.
Poor Parjeet's date. She might as well have been dating an inanimate lump of clay.
What is your favorite clay to use.
Hey Claymaker. Do you have any tips for cleaning clay from dust and dirt? I have an old sculpt which is pretty dirty and i'd to get it clean.
This is shitty advice, but I don't keep mine clean to be honest. They don't seem to be collecting too much dust right now but I think you can wipe it down with water very gently.
Are you in Toronto?
Nice figure! Please make a new video because your hands make it difficult to follow your steps. Nice work!!
Thanks Lonq
We’re did he go…
What clay is that?
You should totally do a Master Cheif hemet or somthing
Good
It looks like Peter Laurie
What kind of clay is that? Specifically. Thanks!
Mike Pierce
If you look up NSP clay it should be the first result on google
Thanks, Jack! Appreciate it.
Reminds me of Capone
Dommage que la caméra soit mal positionnée.
Reminds me of Charles Laughton, the actor
What about Tony Robbins' voice?
Head on a stick hehehe😂
Hey, at least he has a date. I never can date ,for I am already is a relationship her name is "Clinique Depression".
