Lisa you were missed a lot. I don't usually comment because my tremors are so bad that it takes me "forever" to get a message typed correctly, or close to correct. I have been watching you for many years now and enjoy your channel so much. I just get so tickled when you laugh because it is so sweet and delightful. I don't recall if I've ever heard your age, but by your looks and talk, I'd say somewhere between my daughter and granddaughter (58 and 36). Even though I haven't done much sewing in the last few years, I am still learning new things from you and especially newer and easier ways of sewing and quilting at my ripe old age of 75 (76 in March). I hope to get back to being able to sew because I have not been able to stop buying FABRIC, gadgets, etc. Oh how my grandmother (mama) would love sewing today. She made a countless number of quilts with scraps from clothes she made for my 3 sisters and me. She never used a pattern for our clothes, she'd just see a dress in a magazine or on someone and cut out a pattern using newpaper. She did it all on her treadle machine. She died in 1970 and never had, nor used, an electoric machine. Boy, would she be impressed. According to PITTSBURGHER HIGHLAND FARMS, "McDonalds used tallow to cook their fries and stopped using TALLOW in1990 when it was believed that saturated fats caused heart disease; a theory that has more recently been debunked." In my opinion, and probably anyone eating them before 1990, McDonalds' fries were the fries ANYWHERE, EVER. Now everyone is stuck with fries that harden within minutes of buying them. I sure hope they go back to using lard (animal fat) the fries would be so good again. Sorry I carried on so long. I just feel like I know you as one of my own. Thank you for your time and sharing your talent. GOD BLESS YOU.
Tallow. Thank you for a great video! Brought back such great memories of making a quilt with my mama and Great Aunt when I was around 9 or 10 years old.
Tallow. Sunbonnet Sue is so cute and the pin cushion is great. This would make a great Blanket also. Would like to see a Sunbonnet Sam also. Looking forward to more Embroidery designs.
Wow! Love Sun Bonnet Sue for she reminds me of my Grandma. She did patchwork almost always of Sun Bonnet Sue. Interested in making tallow. Thanks for good video content. 🌸tess
Tallow. Love your free standing lace sun bonnet sue as well. I use to use my digitizer more but just not enough time to use everything. You have good time management. I’m loosing that but would love to get it back. Thank you for all of your sharing ❤❤
Tallow. Oh Lisa you were talking about your juki , my three kids got together for Christmas and got me a TL 2010q. I've wanted one for about 4 years and when I opened the box I was so happy I cried!! Love sunbonnet Sue pin cushion. I remember quite some time ago I made a pin cushion from one of your videos using the Derwent pencils the little teacup stencil. It sits in my sewing room.
Using wash away thread as your top thread when making your basting stitch allows you to make your “quilt blocks” square or larger if you wish to do so….😊
Just got home from the Doctors. I got a 100% excellent bill of health. Since they adjusted thyroid meds, everything is perfect. so now watching video. Tallow
👋 hi Lisa it’s been a while since I viewed your channel and you popped up in my notifications, guess if you don’t watch all the time you don’t show up, have never thought about using crush walnut I use some times the rock filler they use for flowers and the beads filler from poly whatever works right!Tallow for a great video have a great day 😊
Tallow…. I am cold too here in the Arizona Sonoran Desert…. Maybe a Mini Split would help you in your studio. I love my whisper quiet unit in my Studio. I love the Sunbonnet Sue.
Lisa, so informative. You Sue Bonnet Sue is adorable. Do you make candles? Soap? I heard you can use tallow in those items. Anyway, stay safe out there. Thanks for your channel. Enjoy it very much.
Tallow. I love the sun bonnet sue. I have always wanted to make a quilt with that design. My mother-in-law made one when she was a teenager all stitched by hand. It’s so cute but age has taken its toll on it (made from her own clothes) and the fabric is disintegrating. 😢
Hi Lisa. Am I correct in thinking that you once made a tall candle wall hanging, I have looked through all of your videos but cannot find it. Would it be possible to connect me to that tutorial, or please do forgive me if it wasn’t one of yours. Thank you for the lovely things that you share with all of us. Happy New Year. Hx 🧶🧵💕
Lisa - when pressing the embroidered side of your pieces, is there any worry of putting direct heat on the threads and scorching them or is that not a worry? Or are you using cotton thread instead of embroidery thread? Hope that all comes across okay. Thank you ❤

Tallow. So excited to know where to get the crushed walnut shells for the pin cushions.

I have used template plastic in the bottom inside to protect from pins going through.
Bless your heart, I just had some dental work today and it is not fun. I don’t know how you did it.
Tallow is the key word for next week live.
Tallow - love your channel. Can no longer afford Patreon, but do watch all your RUclips's, and I have purchased some patterns from your Etsy store.
I would like to learn how to make tallow!
Tallow. I love all your lives.

Your camera angles are fantastic. Would you mind sharing what software and/or equipment you are using?
I heard that crushed walnutes can sharpen your pins you put in pin cushion

Tallow. I need to watch the video on making some for my mother’s dry skin. Does it attract dogs. I have two and a cat.
I was hoping it would get my cats to snuggle me more than Harlen but it didn't work bwahahhaa!
Tallow…I love doing embroidery and you make it fun again….lol, I have a BERNINA also…
