    For just a little more, you can upgrade the Nautilus CC Plus to a unit with the features you need for an in-ground pool. With a shorter warranty, smaller motors, smaller filter cartridges and lacking waterline cleaning, there is a lot you miss out on. If you want a premium unit with a 3 year warranty, check out the Dolphin Premier or Sigma.

      Great review(s). What are your thoughts on this vs the Cayman? I have a 12k gal in-ground. Thanks!

    I have a 25’ x 50’ in ground pool. Just got my nautilus cc plus today and it’s amazing. It climbs the walls much better than it says on this video. The filter is small so I had to empty it a lot today since it was the first day. I’m really happy with my purchase

    great review. thank you. i'm in the market. i've had two (2) smartpool nc74 robots. loved them, and honestly for the work they did i can't complain that they are both dead. each served roughly 4 pool seasons and let me tell you, those things did ALL of the heavy lifting keeping a sparkly pool. i'm the biggest fan of pool robots...but don't want to break the bank. your reviews are awesome! keep up the good work!!

      Thanks we appreciate it! We highly recommend checking out the Dolphin Cayman. It's a little cheaper than the CC Plus and has the large filter basket! It's a great budget alternative to save money and has the same cleaning performance as the Nautilus CC Plus!

    The CC Plus that came with our house (2021 date on the components inside) just crapped out.
    It ran fine during the summer and it often came up to the water line. It would do short stretches of the waterline.
    I'm surprised to find that waterline cleaning is not a feature.
    Curious to know what true waterline cleaning looks like in real life.
    Would appreciate feedback.

      The CC Plus does not have waterline cleaning. If you want it to clean the waterline, you'll want a unit such as the Dolphin Premier, Sigma, or Quantum!

      Dolphin Sigma - amzn.to/3q56mky

    quick question : Do you know if this unit would work on shallow water ,such as sundeck where water cover half of the unit. wonder if only work completely under of the water? thank you

      All Maytronics units must be fully submerged in roughly 30 inches of water! It won't operate outside of the water! I highly recommend a unit with the SmartNav Navigation System and a Gyroscope. This allows the unit to be able to navigate your pool better and provide a deep clean, such as the Dolphin Sigma.

    Dear Sir, I bought CC plus but it blows up the mud from the bottom of the pool and makes the pool even more dirty, should it be like this? Your video shows a clean swimming pool, but how do you solve the problem of mud blowing out from the propeller above? Thank you very much!

      You need a unit with an Ultra-Fine filter, such as the Quantum or Premier! These filters are included with these units (they are not with the CC Plus). By having this filter option, you’ll be able to capture these particles that otherwise would pass through the standard filters! Not only will you get the filters, but also the other units also have waterline cleaning and other features that improve cleaning performance!

    Good review. FYI, this is the biggest POS out there. Well, at least the bigger POS I've had purchased. Expect the treat to go out every 2 years. The wheels bushings will require replacement every two years. Wheels, oh yeah, those two. Along with internal gears. And, if that is not enough, the motor assembly leaks and water destroys the board and both motors. $400 for a new motor replacement. Do I need to let you know how often it gets tangled up with it's own cord? A LOT! Overall, a waste of money. Unless you only want it for ....drum rollll. 2 years!

    Wonder why most RUclips reviews rate this CC Plus as number one choice! For $$ ?

    • @ThePoolNerd
      @ThePoolNerd  2 года назад +1

      While the unit is solid, it really lacks when compared to other top units that many other RUclipsrs may have not tested. When you consider the longer warranty, more filter options, waterline cleaning, and overall filtration ability of the higher end Dolphins such as the Premier, Sigma, and Quantum, it is well worth the upgrade over the CC Plus.
      It isn't a bad option, but there are better options out there. It doesn't have quite the same performance as the other cleaners, which really set them apart.
      Here are some links if you want to check them all out and compare:
      Dolphin Premier - amzn.to/3i4IcCk
      Dolphin Sigma - amzn.to/3q56mky
      Dolphin Quantum - amzn.to/3COWOPN
      Nautilus CC Plus: amzn.to/3t6Bfa9

      @@ThePoolNerd I find the Dolphin Quantum to be a very good vacuum per description. Any input?

    • @ThePoolNerd
      @ThePoolNerd  2 года назад +1

      The Quantum is a fantastic unit! I highly recommend it. It will have all the missing features that the CC Plus doesn't have and more. It will have an ultrafine filter basket, waterline cleaning, and overall better performance! It was one of my favorites that I tested!

      @@ThePoolNerd I concur, totally. Only question is, does it have the anti-tangle swivel cable?
      Some websites say it does, while others do not mention it.
