I had no idea there's a competitive Civ scene, for once youtube recommended me something very interesting! I have a few things to say: 1- I'm still around halfway through the video. It would be very nice if you could explain some of the basics of team gaming like what's happening here. For example in the first restarted games you mentioned trading routes a lot, though so far I've only seen military units. Is trading that important in team games? It sounds like Age of Empires! And is one of the players' nickname actually Age of Empires? 2- Maybe some more info on the players? Is there like a particular strategy they're known for? How about strategies in general in these games? How do they go? 3- 1:25:18 the expression you were looking for is "critical mass." In any case this is very nice stuff, thanks!
Hello sir! Trading routes are very important through-out the game yes. They can help you grow your cities faster in the early game and supercharge your gold in the late game. Best routes are either through water or using railroads between the cities. Most of the time, the high competitive players adapt to the map and situation with their civilizations, there is more info about the players on the cwc website here: civ6worldcup.com I'll gladly talk more about the players and what I know about their during the stream when asked by chat. Sometimes I forget to go deeper into details since I've probably said it a few times before, i'm sorry! 😱 Thank you! Critical mass works! I believe I was looking for tipping point.
@@OnSpotTV cheers! I'm just a total noob when it comes to all of this, so I'm not familiar with some of the basics of team games and I'm just discovering stuff through your channel. So here goes a sub.
@@OnSpotTV I have finished the video and you actually explain stuff very well, I'm sorry, I didn't pay enough attention but you're doing an awesome job, thanks man!
